Is anyone having issues with chat not connecting to FB and alerts not showing. i am getting a warning that SELive is "Waiting to connect to live stream" in red. Meanwhile FB has already been live. Also alerts are not working. As a streamer that is rebranding this is a HUGE game changer.

I am getting a secondary notification sound for my Facebook alerts. I have two alert browser sources, one for follows and one for likes. I have an alert sound of my own and have deleted the default sound, but the default sound plays some time after my own alert sound. I have the other alerts disabled on the opposite browser sources.

If you are not seeing the OBS Twitch integrations and have SE.Live installed, please follow these steps:

  1. Make sure you are on the latest and greatest version of SE.Live
  2. Exit OBS (make sure OBS is not running)
  3. Delete %appdata%\obs-studio\plugin_config\obs-browser\obs_profile_cookies
  4. Start SE.Live
  5. Settings > Stream > Disconnect > Connect

Has every tries just using the pop out chat from Creator Studio? If not you can do that, edit the Size of it and place it over your chat box in OBS, yeah it’s not ideal but it decent till the fix happens

Did you get a "Channel already claimed" message?

More than likely your accounts need to be merged! - Please note:

  • Merging accounts only allow faster ways to switch between accounts
  • Merging accounts does not allow data sharing between accounts - different streaming platforms, different type of events
  • Merging accounts allows duplicating/sharing overlays between the accounts

If you understand the limitations of merging and want to proceed, please find the JWT tokens (!jwt) from both accounts you want to merge and fill out the form here: https://streamelements.com/contact with each token correctly labelled

If you are using the total follower/total subscriber widget, reset your session from the Activity Feed to fetch updated data from twitch. If you’re using goal widgets, you can edit the progress of any goal by going to Activity Feed > Widget Data > Goals. This can also be found in the Overlay Editor by selecting DATA (next to WIDGETS) > Goals.

I'm not sure whether I should post it here, but I have issues with the infamous ERR_NO_GAMING_PAGE. The only exception being that it's for viewers that want to donate using Facebook login. I don't stream on Facebook myself. How will they be able to authorize with Facebook?

I think not until they officially drop the update for everyone. I reverter back mine to classic just to make it work but until they forcefully make it official I hope stream elements will fix it. BTW, telling people to switch back to classic pages is NOT a good solution to this... one because some can't. two because they will lose new page experience features, and three, soon we will all be forced to NPE

@waxen merlin I was just reading that. Come Sept. the classic pages are going away. That is less then 2 months away and switching to the new "Page Experience" has been a thing since at least April. There has to be a better fix then just "switch back". I was going to start streaming on FB but have put that off now due to this issue. I am by no means even a small streamer, its just a hobby for me. I work for a software company and if I were to give a solution like just switch, I would be accused of giving my client poorly secured band-aid vs a solution.

Just switched to StreamElements from SL OBS, When i go to look at widgets and it takes me to the site, it has me link my account to sign in and ive done this multiple times and it does not sign me in, but via OBS with the SE overlay is signed in, also my comments dont come through, i had to navigate the window and pull my actual stream and read the comments that way in the chat overlay

when trying to log into my FB via obs it redirects me to the streamelements page to login so it can connect my reactions/chat but after i have entered my user name and password it refreshes back to login screen and will not connect... how do i fix this?

still having issues tonight logging into stream elements with Facebook. i even tried to " Edit Setting" and does absolutely nothing after selecting the Facebook page and permissions. just goes right too stream elements login page and still nothing works. Just a FYI for the Devs and people who may run into the issue

Text not showing up over your alerts? Go to the Advanced Text Settings and set the top margin to 50, you can work your way to the right position from there.
