@knotty plume If you are not seeing likes/shares on your current stream or page, that might be due to how the privacy settings of the person liking/sharing your stream are set.
If they are set to private we won't be able to see the events.
Specifically for shares, if they share in private groups, we won't be able to see the event.

• from the Overlay Editor > Session data on top right (monitor symbol) > Goals tab > reset progress of desired goal
• from the Dashboard > Activity feed on the left > Widget data on the right > Goals tab -> reset progress of desired goal

Note: Goal widgets (progress) only counts up and doesn't go down automatically, if you lose followers/subs.

if you go into your overlay editor, then session data in the top right corner you will find a "goals" menu, you can edit it there to match your current value

Hi guys, I ran some issue with facebook comment to show in stream. It still works yesterday but when I stream today the comments did not show up.

What I did:

1. I go stream elements theme and duplicate one in there to my overlay and test broadcast but comments did not appear.
2. I unlink the SE from facebook, logout the SE from browser then redo it again. After I test broadcast, comment is still not showing.
3. I use different SE theme (base on popularity) for comments to show. After test broadcast, comments still did not show.
4. Disconnect OBS, SE browser and restart the pc. After the rundown in setting up stream again. Comments still did not show after I do test broadcast.

Help please.

It happens to me sometimes, when i press something on accident, the way to fix this is to close obs and launch it again and it will be fine, if you are live and don't want to close the app, go to the streamelements tab and choose "switch to obs studio" or something like that then on the same tab select import from other services, login into your fb account and then when the window to import the nightbot appears just click "do it later" an it will restore your obs windows... don't know what this process do to fix the issue but it works

If they are set to private we won't be able to see the events.
Specifically for shares, if they share in private groups, we won't be able to see the event.

Hi guys. Looking for some support. Been using stream elements to stream to facebook for a few weeks now with only a few issues with notifications not showing (would like to sort this also) but the main problem I have now is when I click "start streaming" I am getting a message saying "failed to connect". The activity feed is blank and now prompting me to login to twitch. The chat is also blank and the button for live settings has disappeared. I was able to go live to facebook yesterday by updating the stream key and using the facebook creator studio to go live manually. I was still unable to see any alerts or chat within stream elements. I have logged in again to the stream elements dashboard and I could see activity feed etc there. Notifications are also not working on widgets. Would love to get this sorted. @hasty pivot If you are not seeing likes/shares on your current stream or page, that might be due to how the privacy settings of the person liking/sharing your stream are set.
If they are set to private we won't be able to see the events.
Specifically for shares, if they share in private groups, we won't be able to see the event.

The logout button is in the top menu > StreamElements > Logout.

Nothing changes, Ive done this in the past and its worked, but its not changing anything since the page update. I've went as far as signing out of everything, removing the business integration on the FB page, and re-adding StreamElements. Still, no chat and activity feed isnt updating.

Our system is designed around a gaming page on facebook. If that is not a public gaming page, it will fail.

So in that case - we need to wait for the move from Facebook and eventually adjust it. If they have API changes, we will adapt those - but over time.

• Merging accounts allows duplicating/sharing overlays between the accounts

If you understand the limitations of merging and want to proceed, please find the JWT tokens (!jwt) from both accounts you want to merge and you will be directed to DM them to a staff member

There is no easy way to unlink 2 owner-type accounts from each other. The only way is to make a closure request from here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/account/security

WARNING: In submitting a closure request, all linked channels within the account will be deleted and you will lose all associated data. This includes overlays, custom commands, timers and past data (tips, subs, etc). You can still reconnect with the deleted account, but you are essentially starting fresh.

• from the Overlay Editor > Session data on top right (monitor symbol) > Goals tab > reset progress of desired goal
• from the Dashboard > Activity feed on the left > Widget data on the right > Goals tab -> reset progress of desired goal

Note: Goal widgets (progress) only counts up and doesn't go down automatically, if you lose followers/subs.

Hi!! I am new, I was with streamlabs but two weeks ago I switch to streamelements, and I have two issues. First of all, the Share alerts doesn't show up... I have had 76 sharings but the alert only pops up once or twice, I do not what is going on. By other hand, I lost my the stats when I switch to streamelemnts, so I put the stars stats manually but now it doesn't get update automatically, and I am tired to looking for and doesn't find anything, I am about to come back to streamlabs... somebody can help me please?
