Normally it is assumed that the live password is set and the transmission is automatically started, however, the password can not even be started and it puts me in custom mode

I unintsalled streamelements obs.live so I will test it out here later with just plain ole obs and see if it works or not.

I had the issue where it wouldn't connect by just going live on obs all I had to do to fix the issue was use the stream dashboard on fb and start streaming on obs it showed a preview on fb and then i set the stuff up on the tab and hit go live and it worked just fine

We currently don't get alerts for, likes for the stream and shares(highly dependent on privacy settings - if those are all public, then we are not getting it from Facebook). Anything else should show up in the activity feed.

Uh. No, you just have "desktop audio" and it just gets everything on your computer.

Well, it's based on audio device (speakers, headphones, whatever) but anything that's set to play through those will play on stream too.

Hello everyone. I tried going live today and I had a couple issues. One of the biggest ones is that the key frame was at 9 seconds the entire time. For like 19 minutes. I ended up having to switch to SLOBS. The VOD of the streamelements stream didn’t look laggy or anything. Any assistance would be appreciated

If you log out of OBS Studio, yes. But the plugin OBS.Live is just for chat and activity feed. You can log out while streaming.

So I am using stream elements for FB streaming. Is it normal for likes on my page to only show up as "Fans" and not followers? I have gained probably 5-10 followers this week but it only shows 5 Fans, and 0 followers. This ends up messing up any goals that I create but its not tracking followers correctly. so i have a quick question, im noticing there is a delay of around 15-20 seconds on FB streaming. my settings on SE are all the same i have with twitch in terms of having 1 sec delay for near live reaction/replying to chat. is there any way to fix this delay on FB itself since im assuming SEOBS isnt the issue? or

If there's a problem anywhere between you and Facebook, you can get dropped frames. OBS / SLOBS has nothing to do with that.

OBS doesn't have a bitrate limit. 2500 is the default value when starting OBS for the first time and skipping the auto config wizard.

Okay. Open OBS (not SLOBS). Set everything as it should be. Stream to Facebook for a few minutes and get me a log and I can help you with that.

Note: You know that SLOBS isn't that precise when it comes to dropped frames, right? 👀

Yeah that's not looking good. You should start by using an ethernet cable. Streaming over WiFi is one of the worst things you can do.

@sharp pollen Since Apex Legends doesn't have optimized GPU drivers yet, it tends to take up all your GPU resources, leaving nothing for OBS. If you're having OBS performance issues, you'll likely need to limit the game somehow. The easiest way to do this is to enable Vsync in the game, or use a frame limiter. You can limit the game to 60fps by adding `+fps_max 60` to the game's launch properties in Origin.

Is anyone able to help us facebook streamers out? Since this update we cannot login to facebook via obs.live... it prompts to login.. once you do, it prompts you to login again, but takes you to your personal wall as if I am on my browser looking at facebook.... OBS.Live fails to grab the login and switch to the page like it did before... Uninstalling and reinstalling OBS.live DOES NOT fix the issue..... thank you

When it comes to the Tips and Stars goal widgets, is there a way to reset them for the new month or a setting somewhere I'm overlooking. It's showing overall stars and tips when I intend to show just for the month. Same for the "top star donations" list as well
