1. Make sure you are on the latest and greatest version of OBS.Live
2. exit OBS (make sure OBS is not running)
3. delete %appdata%\obs-studio\plugin_config\obs-browser\obs_profile_cookies
4. start OBS.Live
5. Settings -> Stream -> disconnect -> connect

i click custom bot account, it asks me to log into my custom bot account so i put in the pass word and username, it asks me for the autho code so I put that in as well and click authorize. I come bk to the page where I can save it, but the "send test message" stays greyed out. If I do this using my own account or streamelements account it works. it for some reason wont let me use my own custom bot.

I'm making Alerts for resubs and it's playing 2 sounds! I've cleared all the sounds, I've deleted the resub variation and tried emulating it and it still played 2 sounds. The second sound isn't on ANYTHING except 1 other Alert. I don't understand why it's not clearing the sound and recognizing there's a new sound. Someone Please Help. UPDATE: I've Redone Every Variation Manually and they work when you play them, but as soon as I try and emulate it, it has 2 sounds. I can't just delete and redo the actual Subscriber Alert and it's a lot of work to need to redo all my Alerts so there has to be a way to force it to realize that it shouldn't be using that sound.

I am having trouble with StreamElements OBS... Everytime I stream, I'm dropping frames like crazy which makes my stream laggy. I have my video output at 1280x720 at 60 fps and I'm using the NVENC encoder. My video bitrate is at 3000 KBPS and my audio is at 160. • Tick the box for "Control audio via OBS"

• Set Chrome or GC in the VAC as an audio input and output,
• Add the audio output from VAC as an audio input in OBS,
NOTE: this will not be able to show the video in OBS

It is currently not possible to separate audio for yourself and stream if you ALSO want to show the video in OBS.
The only way to do this would be to follow the last set of instructions above and then use Window Capture on GC or Chrome.

Hey, so I'm not sure where to ask about this, but I'm just getting setup in OBS with the OBS.Live plugin. When I'm using a select couple browser sources that are hosted through StreamElements, I occasionally seem to get a grey background that changes how the scene looks. I'm not entirely sure what's going on as the only thing that I found to fix the issue is resetting that pages cache, then it goes back to normal. I'd appreciate any help.

@void iron This is a weird thing as I don't really know how to fix, but i've seen it with NOD packages. The moving background is basically a transparent moving line - when you are not looking at the overlay or have it active it sorta...bakes it self the more it loops. Like as if you are looking at the sun without protection for like 30 seconds and then look away and you see a bright spot for like a few minutes

The only way i can think of fixing this is right click on teh browser source -> properties -> shutdown when inactive

but in doing so you will have to use studio mode to preload the scene and then switch to it

Please understand that every setup will be very different.

Any guides or videos that claim otherwise are misinforming. Your best option is to start with a base and adjust as necessary.

You can run the OBS auto-configuration tool. To use the auto-config, click on the Tools menu in OBS, select Auto-Configuration Wizard, and then just follow the on-screen directions.
You can use this tool to get baseline settings for your hardware and adjust as necessary from there.

Test, test, and test again. We are happy to offer suggestions for any issues you may be having afterwards, but not a list of settings.

I'm using OBS.Live to try and change my Cloudbot name but it's not working. I did all of the steps but when I try to login, nothing comes up in the "current bot name" field.  1) Right click on your OBS desktop shortcut -> properties - in the "Target" field add before .exe" ->  --remote-debugging-port=40404
2) Open OBS(or restart if it was open)
3) Open your browser and type in "localhost:40404"
4) Click on "StreamElements - Activity feed"
5) navigate to the Console tab
6) type in the console this: store.customBot.removeCustomBotIntegration() and hit enter
7) Try setting the custom bot name
8) remove the added addition of step 1

@split pelican Dropped Frames usually means that you have a bad connection with the streaming service(Twitch/Youtube/Mixer/Facebook) and most likely something related to your ISP not handling the connection properly.

When i imported my scenes to Streamelements, it is all within one section under "Sources" rather than the individual components of the scene.

• All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
• Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline
  Note: If you see "X channel has hosted you" with no viewers on the back, that is considered an offline host or a host with 0 viewers, we do not show these.
  Note for Mixer streamers: The above 2 filters currently apply for Mixer and we are aware its actually not how Mixer hosts work. We do plan on changing it, but no ETA on when.

2) Start your stream/recording for about 30 seconds. Make sure you replicate any issues as best you can, which means having any games/apps open and captured, etc.
3) Stop your stream/recording.

Thanks @tender python . I'm familiar with acceleration, but given that no option is given I'm thinking it could be that OBS only likes NVIDIA and no AMD. The issue remains the same, unfortunately. I can't have server-hosted overlays for some reason. Dual boot aint an option, I run tones of other macOS software, including my DJ suite that I am streaming with.

Please understand that every setup will be very different.

Any guides or videos that claim otherwise are misinforming. Your best option is to start with a base and adjust as necessary.

You can run the OBS auto-configuration tool. To use the auto-config, click on the Tools menu in OBS, select Auto-Configuration Wizard, and then just follow the on-screen directions.
You can use this tool to get baseline settings for your hardware and adjust as necessary from there.

Test, test, and test again. We are happy to offer suggestions for any issues you may be having afterwards, but not a list of settings.

I click 'connect with twitch', I enter my credentials, it spins for a bit, errors out.

It seems logging in with twitch is nonfunctional.

Well i did a stream earlier and everything was fine, I finished, turned Obs and twitch off, turned it on a moment ago to find all scenes have only the top left portion of my overlay, game, chat log on all 5 scenes

Is it just me or custom bot name in OBS .live is not working, and the option doesn't even appear in ground control (even though I've done all the mystical steps listed in every tutorial video/reddit post)?

all steps to unlock the features are also green, ie "This feature can be unlocked by performing the following actions: [ok] Use OBS.live - [ok] connect and mod streamelements bot - [ok] add your streamelements tipping link to your twitch panels" yet it does not work. Send test message is grayed out.

Hey, so this kind of put a wrench into my stream. I tried to go live and when I launched OBS.live I couldn't connect to my Activity feed, and then when I tried to log into my Dashboard on stream elements I had a bit of trouble, eventually i managed to get in, updated a few over lays and then went back to OBS.live and nothing changed, so I checked for updates and downloaded them, and now I don't have visuals of my chat feed Activity feed and song request tabs are all gone. I've tried Disconnecting my account and reconnecting it and re-launching it several times.

Okay so I've made a little progress but if someone could please help I would appreciate it.

I went and double check my stream key info and realized after disconnecting and so on, I needed to reconnect a second time. This brought up to panels called "Chat" and "Stream Info" how ever...

If you look at the screen shot, you can see that the "Chat" panel is bugged out with a weird texture over it, and I'm not familiar with the "Stream Info" panel.

If someone can help me retrieve the "Song Request" panel and the "Activity Feed" panel that would be great!

Alright, looking further into this I'm realizing my problem isn't fixed. Although I've figured out how to summon panels back, I still have a broken chat box (I'm guessing may fix itself when I start a stream) and I still can't get my "Song Request" panel back. If someone could take a moment to point out a more efficient way to summon panels like "Chat" "Activity Feed" and "Stream Info" and how to re-obtain the "Song Request" panel I'd be very grateful.

OBS game capture won't detect emulator (Gameloop) when I switch the emulator from windowed to fullscreen mode, both OBS and Gameloop were running as admin

Is there any way to use a custom widget from StreamElements to pull specific info from my Shopify store and add it to my live as an overlay. I’m looking for info like item numbers, sizes, colors etc. I’m not real savvy at writing code, but I can modify.

Is ther any way to delete OBS Sources without opening OBS? Im having an issue where OBS wont open because of a bug where if i leave the Overlay Editor open while closing and reopening the OBS app it will just crash and never open again. I had this issue a week or so ago and it was a source causing the issue as a fresh install of OBS was fine (without user settings saved).

So if there was a way to delete or disconnect sources without opening the app would be great, also Devs, if you're in here, please fix this, remaking all my sources and transitions isnt easy or fun 😦

You can set a cooldown on a command up to 24 hours probably, but not in a way that they can add points for them selves.

@proper portal The way you are describing the issue sounds like you are having the overlay editor open in your browser and then opening obs, which are not related to each other.

Try and uninstall OBS.Live and see if that helps in the long run

• Merging accounts only allows faster ways to switch between accounts
• Merging accounts does not allow data sharing between accounts - different streaming platforms, different type of events
• Merging accounts allows duplicating/sharing overlays between the accounts
  If you understand the limitations of merging and want to proceed, please find the JWT tokens (!jwt) from both accounts you want to merge and you will be directed to DM them to a staff member.

When I speak into my mic (Blue Yeti X), I get an echo. My voice registers in the Audio Mixer on both my mic & Audio Output. In SETTINGS>AUDIO>DEVICES> I have everything Disabled., SETTINGS>AUDIO>ADVANCED> have that set to Elgato Sound Capture (not desktop). I have my Audio Output(Source) set to Elgato Sound Capture. My computer SOUND OUTPUT>Elgato Sound Capture (not desktop). ADVANCED AUDIO PROPERTIES> Mic>Moniter and Output, and every other Setting is set to Monitor Off.
