There is not. The upload limit is there not only to keep things reasonable in our servers, but also because having a 30mb webpage to load all the time is a little bit excessive. 😛

Make sure you're using webm format, it's usually a smaller size.

Hey all, Ditched streamlabs obs for obs.live plugin. Since I haven't set streamlabs very well and I use streamelements as my overlay source I have encountered one issue. When I stream with Streamlabs I don't get this giant delay between my action IRL and stream delay is pretty much nonexistant. However, on the general obs with obs live they delay is so bad that makes it unusable(not sure if that's the right word). Don't get me wrong all is good just that delay that is sickening. Any suggestions on how to fix that?

1. Stop your stream
2. Go to your stream settings in OBS and return them to your previous settings, where your service is listed as "Mixer.com - FTL"
3. In "live video settings" for OBS.Live on the left-hand side (in the chat window) change the setting on top of the window to "Go Live with Mixer Broadcast Dashboard settings" and press "Go Live!" from there

The presets are original ment for data encoding to partain quality and reduce file sizes. At that point, rendering time doesn't matter. You want quality.

For live streaming you want a quick encoding with good quality. But, because of bitrate limitations, you have to make some concession

@bronze mirage Our Dashboard and Overlay editor are Chromium Optimized. We strongly recommend using Chrome. Opera GX and the new Microsoft Edge Chromium might work closest to Chrome as its also Chromium built. FireFox also works, but some things might look a bit different or not work. We do not recommend using Internet Explorer with our Dashboard as it does not support functions.
If the website doesn’t work on chrome, be sure none of your plugins are blocking our website or clear your cookies. You can try if the website works in a incognito tab.

When I click Connect Custom Bot Account I'm presented with the Twitch Authorization page. I enter my twitch credentials and it warns me of the rights I'm giving to the new account I created for the Bot. After doing so it says I will be redirected to API.Streamelements.com . Then that's probably because of your capture card. OBS itself doesn't show any lag. You can confirm by clicking on View > Docks > Stats. 0/xxx means no lag. Press the reset button, stream for like 5 minutes and check for yourself.

However, you can normally see that there is a priority list based on viewercounts in each region that twitch host their servers.

Please understand that every setup will be very different.

Any guides or videos that claim otherwise are misinforming. Your best option is to start with a base and adjust as necessary.

You can run the OBS auto-configuration tool. To use the auto-config, click on the Tools menu in OBS, select Auto-Configuration Wizard, and then just follow the on-screen directions.
You can use this tool to get baseline settings for your hardware and adjust as necessary from there.

Test, test, and test again. We are happy to offer suggestions for any issues you may be having afterwards, but not a list of settings.

Can anyone assist me?. I was using obs.live for over 100 hours, fast forward a month, nothing have changed except updates. No matter the preset on obs, with obs.live installed, cpu usage is 70 percent in game, or 35-40 percent full cam. I've removed every source, tested, same result. I'd tried every other source (overlays, cams, videos) all the same. I've uninstalled obs.live, tested 12.0.5 obs studio alone with video source. 8-15 idle and ~30-41 full motion on slow preset.

Hey everyone! okay so I went live yesterday I noticed my updating stream section went missing, could not find it on the docks section...how can I add it back?

@faint wharfNot sure what you mean. All docks can be found either at the top of OBS in the StreamElements or View > Docks menu

@copper radish Some games like Fortnite and Valorant are causing some problems lately when it comes to capturing them. Not sure if the same thing counts for CoD.

This can be caused by all kind of things. 3rd party overlays, another game capture already hooking into the game, anti virus or whatever. Hard to troubleshoot, especially when it's not reliably reproduceable :/

You know you can use one game capture for all games?

Do I need to switch that each time for the game I'm playing? Each game has one source for its individual game

Game capture should capture all games by default. If not, try "hotkey mode" in the game capture properties. That way, you go into your game, press a hotkey and the game gets captured.

Hi all I'm trying to figure out the overlay countdown in streamelements. Its working within the website but when i add it as a browser source it doesnt start the countdown. am I missing something?
