hey guys, unfortunately I still have some issues with my OBS rendering the SE Browser source.
Last week we figured, that the Hardware acceleration completely blocks everything, but disabling Hw acceleration leads to choppy animations of my Browser sources. I do not have any issues within my browser (if I opfen the source manually) so it seems to be an issue with my obs. any clue? Streamlabs also does not have any issues btw. I just reinstalled obs and have StreamFX and obs Websocket Plugins installed

The issues are just with sources from Streamelements since the Browser source from Kappamon is working flawlessly

it's gonna struggle

it's a 4-core/4-thread CPU....might consider upgrading to a i7-7700 if your board supports it, which will give you a little more oomph in your CPU

if you can offload rendering to the GPU, it will help

Hey im having issues with my audio input & Mic/Aux in OBS.Live. Was streaming with early in the day with no issues. I ended stream and did a few things for the day. Tried streaming the same night to realize my Audio Input is only being picked up on the bottom half. When I would speak my chat couldn't understand me. I then unplugged my mic, and plugged in my headset mic. It had the same issues! I then hopped in a discord voice chat and my friends could hear my voice clearly... I have a Blue Yeti microphone, and have tried almost everything to fix this. Another odd thing is that it is happening in both OBS Live and Streamlabs OBS. Heres a screenshot where I circle the audio thats only being picked up on the bottom half. Please help me 🙂

The problem came back again as the new alerts do lag but the old ones i had time before didn't.
for example i have 1 notification general for the donations and one special for 4.20€, the general being old didnt lag and the new one did, only when replayed it actually was normal.

I have an overlay and animated banners that I got through Own3d.com, but everything else donations and such is through Streamelements. @steel blade yeah this unfortunately does not really help. if Hardware accel is on, nothing is shown. if I disable it, the Footage of the Browser source stutters. The Browsersources of another Site works perfectly without HW accel. tho

• Merging accounts only allows faster ways to switch between accounts
• Merging accounts does not allow data sharing between accounts - different streaming platforms, different type of events
• Merging accounts allows duplicating/sharing overlays between the accounts
  If you understand the limitations of merging and want to proceed, please find the JWT tokens (!jwt) from both accounts you want to merge and you will be directed to DM them to a staff member.

that is taxing on the PC and not recommended to do

plus your bitrate is 2500 - not enough for encoding 1080p60fps

and it seems you just clicked on "start stream" and then stopped 20 minutes later

Thats not enough to gauge a PC setup

I would suggest to do a 5 to 10 minute stream

and play a game or something during that

to make a better log file

Aaah, I believe the audio mixers being positioned like that locks the max height of the dock, but there is an absolute limit to how much you can make it small(the bottom portion)

Among the CPU #'s divided, some were below 50 and some where above 85%. Like, CPU #1, CPU #2, etc.

4. start OBS.Live

Hi folks. Having a bit of trouble with the Instant Replay stuff, hopefully someone can help.

I've set it up in OBS Studio (I assume it's OBS.live though because I can see all my lovely SE stuff?) but it's not working as expected. I'm trying to create a multiaction button on my Stream Deck that'll switch scenes to an "Instant Replay" scene, show the last 10 seconds, then flip back to my default view.

Right now when I hit the button, it flips to IR scene but then does some real wonky stuff. Like it'll get confused on which replay.mp4 to play maybe?

hrm i'm trying to do a reference to the streamlabs one: Streamlabs hast "streamlabels" integrated. There you just click on a "add to scene" button, there you can choose , for example , alerts and can change those alerts right IN the streamlabs obs app. you dont have to go into the browser to change the alerts/chat etc there, you all have it right in your app.

Our overlays have to be edited over at the website indeed, but then you can access them everywhere, since they're stored in the cloud

The whole thought about that is, if your computer crashes or anything, you can just pull your overlay link to your new computer and you're done

also, for the continuously freezing, try turning browser source hardware acceleration on in OBS settings > Advanced, make sure you're using hardware encoding in OBS settings > Output, and for any browser sources you have, check "Shutdown source when not visible" in their properties - that ensures that the browser source doesn't waste CPU if it isn't visible on stream

Hello I have an issue with my scenes from nerd or die with Obs Live. Every time I add a new scene or edit one All of my stealth backgrounds crash and I have to manually install them again.

Im trying to record and its showing a black screen, then it says I dont have a source selected, how do I make it show my screen?

@floral trail To set your panels to dark mode please do the following:

Close down your chat,
Close down stream information,

In OBS go to view > docks > chat

Click on the cog, go to non-mod settings
look under "My Preferences" to enable/disable dark mode

You can then reopen your docks
view > docks

Good Evening. I was wondering if you could help me. I set some alerts on the Streamelements to use with StreamlabsOBS. but they dont work, what can i do?

@slate nimbus We're not able to troubleshoot issues with using our overlays in StreamLabs OBS (SLOBS) as we don't have the tools to support their software. We recommend using OBS Studio or OBS Studio with our plugin OBS.Live.
