Hey everyone. So I just switched to Streamelements from Streamlabs, I have my overlay setup, but for some reason my follower goal number just isn't right. On the overlay it shows properly (89/100) but in obs.live it shows as (19/100). Not sure what to do here. Thanks!

- from the dashboard -> activity feed on the left -> widget data on the right -> goals tab -> reset progress of desired goal
Note: Goal widgets(progress) only counts up and doesn't go down automatically, if you loose followers/subs

If I remove the plugin and then start OBS, OBS.Live wants to make an update, which then again adds the plugin and it comes back to crashing on startup.

@past violet, if you're streaming, using the above method, OBS will never see your game play because you're sending the gameplay to Twitch not OBS. You would need to send your gameplay to OBS first, either using a capture card or PS4 Remote Play, then Start Streaming from your OBS.

There's been no other reports of this behavior. The widget is essentially an elaborate YouTube embed, so it shouldn't behave any differently than it does on the media request page itself.

@past violet, if you want the PS4 gameplay to appear in your OBS, you cannot use the share button to broadcast your gameplay. It doesn't work that way.
@past violet, you have to use a capture card, such as an elgato HD60, to connect your PS4's video and audio direct to your stream computer, then go live from within OBS, NOT the share button of your controller. If you do not have a capture card, Sony provides a free tool called PS4 Remote Play, which you can download and install on your stream computer. Once PS4 remote play is installed, you'll have to go through the process of connecting to your PS4 through it. Sony has instructions on how to do that on their website. You'll then want to create a window or display capture, of the PS4 remote play content, inside of your OBS. At that point, you should see it inside of your OBS.

So, I originally created my account on Stream Elements with Mixer, but I am now using Twitch. Every single time I open OBS or OBS live, it tries to get me to log in with Mixer. I want to change that to Twitch. The problem I am having is I can't close my Mixer account connection on Streamelements website. It tells me the information is wrong when it isn't.. Is there some other easier way to get rid of Mixer integration and just have Twitch?

Yeah, still not working. Every time I close OBS.Live or OBS Studio and reopen it, it prompts me to log in with Mixer instead of Twitch, even if I followed the steps of "OBS-> Logout -> Login through Twitch. Every time I have to exit the Mixer pop-up and it gives me this error. "Failed to authenticate with Mixer: Invalid_grant: Refresh token is invalid, has been revoked, or has already been used." That is after I exit the Mixer popup to login. Then I click "OK" and it gives me the option to login through Twitch and I have to go through the two-step authentication every time.

I just logged into your account and made the Top Tipper widget, set it to All-Time period and it seems to be accurate now. Basically, what needed to be done was to go to: Activity Feed -> Widget Data -> Settings -> Click on Save Changes. This refreshes your aggregates to make sure that all of your widget data is up-to-date

okay so before the patch i had no issues with my webcam. but now when i have the webcam source enabled my stream chuggs no dropped frames but just very choppy. i had no issue before but now i do. by turning off the webcam source it instantly fixes the issue

like i have a webcam scene and a webcam shadow scene, using a transparency setting and a blur effect i give myself a small shadow. then use that scene as the source. idk if that makes sense. never had any issues with it till tonight. but thanks for your advise ill head over there and see what they say

Okay good I got a 2560 by 1440 monitor and my old scenes from obs I got off of stream elements they show up as 1920 by 1080 on my obs even when I changed it to 2560 by 1440 on the properties the theme don't change to 2560 by 1440 and shows as 1920 by 1080 with the other half of that theme blacked out

Well in the twitter DM, I did instruct that if you leave the overlays as 1920x1080 sized, you can just add them as 1920x1080 browser sources and just CTRL + F to fit them to your bigger canvas

Hey guys! Transitioned to StreamElements OBS when I entered the program but was on Xsplit before. I can't figure out why I can't switch platform in the settings....
When I go Settings - Stream - Service and change the Service/Server and press Apply, when I go back to The main screen and press Start streaming it only shows 2 options:
- Go live with facebook streamer Dashboard
- Create a new Facebook live video
What if I want to use Restream ?

If the overlays aren’t showing up you can check your obs settings > advanced >> scroll down and make sure hardware acceleration is turned off

To get the chat in OBS.Live you should be able to select StreamElements at the top in OBS > Chat.

I'm having a weird issue - sometimes when I record with OBS the first few seconds are stuck in playback.
Whenever you open it in premiere, the first few seconds of the video are automatically deleted which makes the audio desynced. Anyone seen it?

Did that have a driver download or is the audio enabled on the camera in OBS? As in the log is what is causing audio buffering which scuffs the audio for the viewers

I have to look to see if the audio is enabled, but I am pretty sure I turned that off. I have a blue yeti I use for mic. Also, the chat tells me everything is fine on their end, sound, everything. Any "lag" I get is happening on my pc and they can just see it and the stream itself isnt lagging.

Hi All, my OBS keeps ending the stream when switching between scenes, the CPU & GPU are fine and my upload is 36MP so I have 6K bitrate with 1080p 60fps, never was a problem before, any ideas?

No. Individual widgets can't be controlled by default. Something like that would take a lot of custom coding, if it's even possible at all.

Uninstall OBS.Live and keep vanilla OBS Studio.
Open OBS Studio and delete all browser sources in all scenes.
Reinstall OBS.Live and you should be able to remake all your browser sources.

We've received a few reports already from users that it's not loading, but cannot replicate the issue on our end. Have you added exceptions to your firewall/antivirus/etc.?

Has anyone had any issues where background webm files not loading into obs live when changing scenes? If I reload load the overlays it'll pop up but it resets the chat window. Everything else will be there on transition to the scene but the background wont be.

My question is about the overlays, the labels, the alerts and linked accounts on StreamElements.
I have 2 out of 3 channels linked and I want to stream to all of them through Restream, I am looking for a way to get all the alerts, label and overlays update/show the latest of every channel.
At this moment I would need to create a simple alert overlay and add it to my other platforms, this however feels more like a workaround. I haven't found a way yet to do the same with label which update when someone follows me, for example: Someone start the follow me on Mixer and 10 minutes later someone else follows me on Twitch but the label still says the Mixer follower.
Are there ways I could do this on StreamElements?
