Hi Somehow i have a strange issue.

I have created a second account on Twitch for my bot. Added it in OBS.Live. Worked. At one day, it was not working anymore.
Now, when i try to connect it again, i get to the Twitch authentication, i log in, authenticate it and save it. But then nothing happens and the bot is not listed within Stream Elements

1) Right click on your OBS desktop shortcut -> properties - in the "Target" field add this -> --remote-debugging-port=40404
2) Open OBS(or restart if it was open)
3) Open your browser and type in "localhost:40404"
4) Click on "StreamElements - Activity feed"
5) navigate to the Console tab
6) type in the console this: store.customBot.removeCustomBotIntegration() and hit enter
7) Try setting the custom bot name

Make sure to add the bit at the end of 1 at the end of the existing target instead of replacing what's already there

Heya!
I just switched to StreamElements recently and one problem happened to me.
I set up my stream widgets on the dashboard. But I am struggling with them showing up on OBS? My alerts work, but when I try to show the chat it doesn't show anything. I created a layer for it on the same as my stream alerts for followers and co. and they showed up there for like 2 messages and then didn't work anymore. Then I created a seperate overlay for them but that doesn't show up at all.
Does anyone know the problem? 😦

So, I know this isn't exactly your expertise, but you seem to have big brain.
As I mentioned earlier, trying to get that meme to work and I'm going through some ideas on how to get that to work and this is what I've come up with so far:
I tried using a replay buffer to capture the scene and lay the meme over the top, the problem with that is I cannot set the recording for anything less than 5 seconds, so its not creating the still I would like. The other issue with that is the recording takes a second to save, and the transition to the new scene seems to happen before it has a chance to save.
Right now I'm using the replay source plugin to capture a brief 1ms clip then layered the meme over that and it seems to be working well. The only problem with it is that I would need to make this PER SCENE as it requires a source to record from. That sounds like a pain in the ass to have to make a whole section on my stream deck just to have this meme from any scene. I'm wondering if there's a way to either make a scene that displays any active scene or... something...
Any ideas? If not, totally cool, again I know this isn't exactly your job description xD

The issue isn't so much the meme layorage, its more the issue of being able to capture a still from any scene I'm on without having to make a "meme for live scene" "meme for intermission".
In order to capture the still, the only way I was able to figure out was using the replay source plugin. However, this plugin requires you to select a scene or source to record for playback. This means I have to set a new scene for live, intermission, etc. if I want to get it to play from any scene. What I want to know is if theres a way I can loophole this whole thing and somehow make a scene that displays any active scene I'm on. That way, I could link the multi scene to the replay source and boom, doneski. Dunno if that's possible though.

Hello!
I have a little problem with y obs.
When I stream and the audio goes krazy clipping all the time, etc.
I've been looking on obs forums and the only thing I see it can do something is the audio codec, a loto of people recomend to have installed AAC Core audio.
As I'm an iTunes user It should be installed but when I look the Log file I get this message on the Core audio encoder:
"[CoreAudio encoder]: CoreAudio AAC encoder not installed on the system or couldn't be loaded"
I tried to uninstall itunes, reboot, reinstall itunes, reboot, and obs still the same...

2) Start your stream/recording for about 30 seconds. Make sure you replicate any issues as best you can, which means having any games/apps open and captured, etc.
3) Stop your stream/recording.
4) Select Help > Log Files > Upload Current Log File. Copy the URL and paste the link here.

(Note: If you do not see an obsproject.com URL, you will need to update OBS Studio to version 22+)

@reef zealot Due to changes to Twitch API, we have filtered out hosts and will only show these ones on your activity feed:

All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline
Note: If you see "X channel has hosted you" with no viewers on the back, that is considered an offline host or a host with 0 viewers, we do not show these.

2) Start your stream/recording for about 30 seconds. Make sure you replicate any issues as best you can, which means having any games/apps open and captured, etc.
3) Stop your stream/recording.
4) Select Help > Log Files > Upload Current Log File. Copy the URL and paste the link here.

(Note: If you do not see an obsproject.com URL, you will need to update OBS Studio to version 22+)

Hey all, I seem to be having a small issue with my obs.live. The media request is just a blank blue screen. I have tried to close it and reopen it again as well as restarting obs itself but the issue remains.

As far as I am aware, its generally best to use a max of ~75% of your upload speed. so for you i believe that would be 3000 for yoru bitrate which should be enough for 720p 30fps iirc

Alright so just built a new setup, running a dual PC, one stream and one for gaming. Using NDI. I set it up yesterday and initially, after creating the NDI source it just portrayed a black screen. Then, I decided to forego trying to figure it out so I gamed for awhile. A few hours later, I open OBS on the stream PC and everything worked great. Today, I turn both PCs on and set everything up and I'm getting a black screen again. Any ideas?

Twitch has a delay by default because of how the RTMP protocol operates over TCP

The TCP version of rtmp doesn’t have a low-latency version yet that’s officially standardized

So, I have been using obs live from probably 3 months or so, haven't had a single issue, but for about a week, unless I reload my overlays, my scrolling texts will glitch back and not scroll all the way across. So, for example, if my recent subscriber is scrolling from left to right, it will get about half way across to the right and glitch all the way back to the left without going all the way across. If I reload the overlay effected, it fixes this but it has not done this except for about a week.

obs always count viewers/followers from the platform where u streaming. Try reinstall follower count, or simply refresh it. Twitch never fake the followers.

and also a hacky workaround:
A workaround for the COD MW - OBS encoder error problem is to hard-limit the VRAM available for COD. This is done by going to Documents -> Call of duty Modern Warfare -> Players. Open the adv_options INI file and change the "videoMemoryScale" from 0.9 to 0.75. This will free up headroom in your GPU for OBS to work properly.

or a more simpler solution: lower resolution, set fps limiter to something low ish like 60 (if you are getting higher FPS) or maybe lowering your render scale.
I lowered my render scale and that worked charms - But it still doesn't make ut for my constant two crashes first.

So, I am still having the issue where my scrolling text will glitch back to the start and not scroll all the way across. Is there multiple things to try for this fix? I have reloaded the cache on all effected overlays and it still does it. I am not sure what else to do. I have it set to reload the overlay when it becomes activate but this is a bandaid fix.

@dusky granite Follow these steps to grant managers/moderators access to your dashboard:

Click on your Channel Name at the top of the dashboard and select Settings
Create a new invite at one of three access levels (Bot Supervisor, Editor, Full Control)
Send this invite to a mod/manager to give them access to your dashboard. The link is one-time-use and expires after 72 hours if not accepted
