@lean siren Sounds like you're not using the ideal widgets for what you're trying to achieve. The 'Total' widgets like 'Total Subscribers' and 'Total Followers' would show you up-to-date total counts of those things

@silent ore tbh, it depends how much you want to spend, you wouldnt need to go very far, low end i7 is good for 1 pc set up (if youre not too demanding on it). if you have the cash either top end i7 or low i9 would do you good. your 1060 can take the brunt of it.

however, you really need to go through your scenes/sources if you havent already, its.... well.... it needs a clean : )

• All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
• Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline
  Note: If you see "X channel has hosted you" with no viewers on the back, that is considered an offline host or a host with 0 viewers, we do not show these.

Hey, so I am having an issue with my stream on obs. My bitrate is set to 3500 but spikes up to 5000 or 9000 for no apparent reason. Every other 5 minutes my bitrate while streaming goes from 4000 straight to 0. The bitrate is very unstable and I know for a fact it isn't my internet because when my stream would freeze up I could still play the game with no lag or connection interruptions. How can I fix the flunctuating issue that is causing my streams to freeze every 5 minutes? I have evidence of this happening on my recent stream. Please contact me as soon as possible. Thanks

I think pausing alerts might be the most effective in the moment, but be sure to report all those accounts to Twitch after stream to hopefully help as a more long-term solution

if they're using common similar phrasing in their usernames you could add spam filters to catch them but I'm guessing the usernames are not following some kind of predictable pattern

also, seeing that you shared this in multiple channels – just one will do for the future!

Hello. Just got set up with OBS Live and StreamElements. I'm using Mobcrush to get my stream into several platforms. Is there a way to have the Mobcrush unified alerts and unified activity panel on OBS Live? I searched everywhere on the StreamElements site, OBS, custom overlays and stuff like that but there is no way for me to see any settings regarding getting overlays that pull the data from all platforms to create an alert or the activity panel. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

@cedar token If you're referring to the Themes in the Themes Gallery they're all designed to be 1920 x 1080. If you make your own overlay you can input the resolution you want and make something more suitable for that resolution

Any of our themes will be quite stretched at that resolution

so you can, there are 2 ways to do it:

either have it in the full overlay and set it to close and restart in obs every time you change scenes,
this will close your entire overlay when going to a different scene and reload it when you come back.

or,
have the countdown on its own overlay and just have that shutdown on its own,
this way you can toggle it on/off in obs without effecting anything else.

hey, can i get some help with the tipping, follower, subscriber info and panels/widgets. I think the stuff i exported must have stacked up and now it shows triple the values i.e. a person who donated 20 shows up 3 times 20 each for a total of 60 and so on

and if it's possible to force feed old events to show up and populate the event list widget as it only shows tips atm

This may be a silly question, but I had previously easily had the custom bot name working on my channel, but after changing my bot account's password and having to reconnect all my connections, I can no longer have the custom bot name work without having ground control open. I'm not sure how I had gotten it working without ground control at all the first time, so is there any other way to do it without having to programs open at once to stream?
I also had a connection of "Streamelements Chatbot" or some similar connection name on my bot's twitch account, but that is no longer there. Am I doing something wrong or different?

Well, its not working just yet, but it says my bot's account is connected on its twitch account. I can't test the bot or save it with the account I logged in with, it just lets me log in via OBS.live

After signing in and authorizing I'm still left with this screen so I can't test the bot nor save anything since the bot isn't connecting

1) Right click on your OBS desktop shortcut -> properties - in the "Target" field add this -> --remote-debugging-port=40404
2) Open OBS(or restart if it was open)
3) Open your browser and type in "localhost:40404"
4) Click on "StreamElements - Activity feed"
5) navigate to the Console tab
6) type in the console this: store.customBot.removeCustomBotIntegration() and hit enter
7) Try setting the custom bot name

Make sure to add the bit at the end of 1 at the end of the existing target instead of replacing what's already there.
Also remove the bit after the process is successfully finished.

But as you are a twich affiliate, I do not recommend to use restream.

Looks like you're having a lot of dropped frames from internet connection. Might also be causing the disconnects.

Nothing's changed on my end connection wise, but the issue is new. Been streaming for 2-3 months on the same connection with the same setup. Maybe I'll try switching to regular OBS and see if the problem continues. Thanks!

hey, I am just setting up my scenes and sources. I have an intermission scene that has a frame (for cam) and other stuff. I also have a Scene for game with the sme frame just smaller and less stuff then on the intermission scene. Nonetheless, the gaming scene drops in with a little delay (which I know can be normal). The intermission scene does not come with a delay tho, even tho it has more stuff on it. Why is that happening?

Solved it. For those that might have the same problem. It is related to the Shut down source when not visibile checkbox. Untick it and you have no delay

@gray vector This is dangerous to do if you have an alertbox on that overlay, as it'll result in duplicate audio.

The "solution" would be to use Studio Mode to preload overlays.

If you want to uncheck "Shutdown source when not visible," you will want to remove your alertboxes from your individual overlays, and instead have it on its own standalone overlay, added separately using the "use existing" function when adding a new source to a scene.

Okay, that's fine. The alertbox, the text, the sub goal, and the background would likely all import into your account as a single overlay. Then you add that to OBS as a single browser source, and you should still have room to use your WOW source in OBS provided there's a space for it somewhere.

Found a bug. On the Blue Flare overlay, the Cheer notification sound for the alert box doesn't want to be overwritten. It just uses the default no matter what you upload.

I had them in my Stream scene as Browser Source at the top of my assets but the alerts were not appearing live on stream for viewers. The sounds were (on occasion) but not the visuals. I removed the alert asset and decided to build the alerts inside the Stream scene solely. Still not receiving alerts (visual or sound cues). HELP

Cache has nothing to do with the dock position. We are aware of the request to keep previous dock position when updating OBS.Live and we are looking into ways we can save previous position and save it for next updates

you will need someone to make you a MOV file with alpha so you can add it as a source @celest sigil otherwise you can upload a WebM to our cloud overlay
