Hi i recently switched from streaming on twitch to streaming on youtube. I logged out of my twitch stuff and logged in with my Youtube account on the dashboard and stream elements app. For some reason my alerts aren't going off when someone subscribes to me and the dashboard on the website doesn't even track new subs. It's just blank....no data. How do I fix this?

Hello, my issue relates to the management of my Twitch and Youtube channels in the StreamElements website. Is it possible to merge the two so I don't need to log out and re-log in when I need to switch to manage my youtube and twitch? Whenever I try to add my Youtube channel under management in my Twitch, it already says channel is claimed, so I was wondering if it's possible to just merge the two instead of having standalones StreamElement accounts.

I'm just about doen with trying to stream with stream elements, I've drastically lowered my bit rate as a test, put encoder on NVIDIA because i have a 1660 Super so it's less on the CPU, MAX Performance, Profile: High. I have a 1920x1080 and i put outsput scale to 1280x720 to make it easier. and with 0 other apps or games open. I'll hit start streaming and it'll instantly jump to over 60% skipped frames. I have literally tried every settings and shit is not working

I added streamelements as a mod on my channel and i even have the obs live i can see my chat in the docked window but when i type it doesnt show up on stream. i just see my blank chat box in my overlay.

Its very difficult to put a zoom call in to OBS in fact I have tried with virtual audio cables and a myriad different things. watched endless videos on how to do it and for a normal human being it is simply impossible to do. Its effortless with Streamyard but it just doesnt have the merch possibilities and tipping that this has.

@frail glade To set up the bot for your YouTube stream, please follow these steps:

  1. Make sure your stream is public. The bot cannot join a private/unlisted stream.
  2. Your stream must be live for the bot to join the chat.
  3. Go to https://studio.youtube.com/, click on Settings > Community and add https://youtube.com/c/streamelements or https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCjerlCIbLPQwSnYlClkjDXg as a Moderator.
  4. When live, be sure to look at Live chat instead of Top chat, as Top chat will hide the bot messages.

3) If it doesn't crash, install OBS.Live too.

  1. Repeat steps 1 and 2
  2. Duplicate the current "Scene Collection" at the very top of OBS, call it something like "Backup" and remove all browser sources in that backup
  3. Install OBS.Live and see if it still crashes
  • If yes, repeat steps 1 and 2, leave OBS.Live uninstalled, tell us that it didn't work and use your old default scene collection again.

  • Merging accounts does not allow data sharing between accounts - different streaming platforms, different type of events
  • Merging accounts allows duplicating/sharing overlays between the accounts

If you understand the limitations of merging and want to proceed, please find the JWT tokens (!jwt) from both accounts you want to merge and you will be directed to DM them to a staff member

Did YouTube change the API of how the YouTube chat works in SE.live now? It seems like when I stream, I have to sign in every single time to interact with the chat and it brings up the stream page (video included and all) instead of just the chat like it used to.

Also, it seems that StreamElements crashed mid-stream and stopped working (the overlays stopped moving and the bot stopped working with commands and timers).
