Private: When a users subscriptions are set to private, no other user can see what channels they subscribe to. A user's account does not show in a channel's Subscribers List, even if they are subscribed.

Hello! I've a small issue, I have accidently made 2x SE accounts. Account #1 has my Twitch, Facebook and Mixer. Account #2 (I accidently made) has my YouTube channel. If I try to add the YouTube account to Account #1 it says "That account has already been claimed". Would you be able to guide me to add my YouTube channel from Account #2 to Account #1? Or point me in the direction of a solution? I haven't been able to find any obvious ones, other than deleting Account #2. However I was worried of deleting ALL my account data.

• Merging accounts only allows faster ways to switch between accounts
• Merging accounts does not allow data sharing between accounts - different streaming platforms, different type of events
• Merging accounts allows duplicating/sharing overlays between the accounts

@native linden Hey there! Generally people can add supported platforms via the drop down menu in the dashboard. However if you login to it separately without doing this you'll get the result you said above. That would make staff have to link it with our special method with the data above.

1 warning though: merging is a one way street and should you want to remove any of the connected accounts you have to lose everything as mentioned here.

There is no easy way to unlink 2 owner type accounts from each other. The only way is to make a closure request from here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/account/security
WARNING: In submitting a closure request you will delete both linked accounts and loose all data from both accounts. This includes overlays, custom commands, timers and past data(tips, subs, etc). You can still relogin with the deleted account, but you are essentially starting fresh.

4) Open your browser and type in "localhost:40404"
5) Click YouTube Chat

If you do not have any available data, they will not be displayed in the editor. If you don't want that data not to be shown in the stream you have to 1. change the design (or let it change) and 2. change the overlay in the editor so that the functions are removed. @pastel prism

You can emulate data. Just click on "Emulate". Then you have temporary data and can adjust your overlay. They will be streamed live, but will be automatically deleted from the cache.

What does your design look like? Are the options e.g. "Latest Subscriber" included in the design or are they texts you defined in the overlay?

The market in itself is more specialized for Twitch. There are probably only a few overlay designs that come into question for you.

Hi, I just found out about the streamelements overlays, but I tried one and it looks awesome, but I cant get the subscriber popup to work, even though I told my friends to sub for a test

@novel wadi Users can choose to make the channels that they subscribe to public or private. By default, all settings are set to private.

Private: When a users subscriptions are set to private, no other user can see what channels they subscribe to. A user's account does not show in a channel's Subscribers List, even if they are subscribed.
Public: When users subscriptions are set to public, another user can see what channels they subscribe to. User subscriptions are listed on their channel page, and their account is listed in the Subscribers List for any channel they subscribe to.

Hi. I have a problem with alerts on stream elements to obs. Basically, when the alert pops up, on the stream, they can’t hear anything. Is there something I could do so that my stream can hear the audio for my alerts?

@arctic girder there is no chat box but you are still able to have chat on YouTube using a browser source and custom css I got online

Hi, I’m new. The chat bot wouldn’t posts links/URLs with a chat command. It came up as *** I checked through the settings but couldn’t find any restrictions on URLs. Any help will be appreciated

The links in #widget-share are intended for Twitch accounts. If any of the widgets get imported to Youtube they will most likely be added to the Widget gallery here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/themes

and then you can duplicate the overlay to their acount
