you dont use bitrate for recording

#

For high-quality, no fuss recordings, use the recording quality presets.

Under Settings > Output, set the mode to Simple output.
In the recording section, change the Recording Quality to Indistinguishable Quality
Select your encoder. We recommend a hardware encoder if it is available.

Right click on the BrowserSource > Properties > Scroll down a bit > Refresh Cache of current page

@royal glade There is no easy way to unlink 2 owner type accounts from each other. The only way is to make a closure request from here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/account/security
WARNING: In submitting a closure request you will delete both linked accounts and loose all data from both accounts. This includes overlays, custom commands, timers and past data(tips, subs, etc). You can still relogin with the deleted account, but you are essentially starting fresh.

Make sure your stream is public. The bot cannot join a private/unlisted stream.
Your stream must be live for the bot to join the chat.
Add https://youtube.com/c/streamelements as a Comment Moderator at https://www.youtube.com/comment_management
When live, be sure to look at Live chat instead of Top chat, as Top chat will hide the bot messages.

Pretty sure. it announces the stream starting, new subs/tips, and the timer announcements work great. It's the custom commands that aren't responding.

@eternal breach There is no easy way to unlink 2 owner type accounts from each other. The only way is to make a closure request from here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/account/security
WARNING: In submitting a closure request you will delete both linked accounts and loose all data from both accounts. This includes overlays, custom commands, timers and past data(tips, subs, etc). You can still relogin with the deleted account, but you are essentially starting fresh.

I setup a alert box on stream elements with OBS, some reason it is detecting that i am going live and when i emulate an alert it works on obs but when someone subscribes or donates it doesn't pop up what so ever. It even dosent show that i have gained any subs.

Try to part the bot, log out of the dashboard, log back in and make the bot join again.
This should refresh the connection to YT.

@versed tangle There are no "best settings".
Please understand that every setup will be very different.

Any guides or videos that claim otherwise are misinforming. Your best option is to start with a base and adjust as necessary.

You can run the OBS auto-configuration tool. To use the auto-config, click on the Tools menu in OBS, select Auto-Configuration Wizard, and then just follow the on-screen directions.
You can use this tool to get baseline settings for your hardware and adjust as necessary from there.

Test, test, and test again. We are happy to offer suggestions for any issues you may be having afterwards, but not a list of settings.

As for suggestions, I would not recommend streaming at 1080p60fps - this will be too much strain on your PC

#

you need a 2PC setup to have a smooth 1080p60fps stream

as for bitrate - i'm not familiar with the limitations for YT streaming, but 4000-5000 should be fine for 720p60fps
