We do not touch the core functionality of OBS at all.

I mean GIF/video, yeah. All that depends on the files you use, your resolution, canvas size etc. OBS Studio is pretty well optimized already, the hardware usage (specially on the CPU side) is pretty good since they rolled out decent updates over the last few months.

This is why people go nuts with dual PC systems, to get max FPS in games and max quality on stream.

In your case, slapping in a new shiny 2080Ti with a waterblock on top to stay at max clocks all day long is a good solution

Depends on what tipping features you want.

I'm not sure how it is for YT really, but I think there is a default command called "!donate" or "!tip" where the bot gives a response back saying "Here is my tipping page: <link>"

Your stream has to be set to public for the bot to join. If it doesnt join when live and public, theres an issue with youtubes api.

On the topic of twitch only streaming. I stream to restream for twitch and YouTube. Would this cause any problems? Since having your obs I get poor qos and even disconnection altogether. I'm not sure if it's just a coincidence or something that stream elements can't do fully yet

hey guys, i know theres a few issues but just had a stream and wanted to put these out there.
the bot was in my twitch stream but wouldnt do the chat timer post things until i use a ! command. this happened with my yt bot a while ago, as soon as you use a ! chat it starts working. also the yt chat doesnt clear the streamelements bot chat after stream, is there something that can be done to sor that?

If you told it to join your channel, your stream is set to public, and you set StreamElements as a comment moderator, then it should join, but may take some time, as the connection to the YouTube API isn't perfect. We're still working with the YT devs to improve it.

In order for the Bot to function, it needs moderator access. To add StreamElements as a moderator, visit youtube.com/comment_management and paste "https://www.youtube.com/streamelements" into the Moderators list. this is what it says in the dashboard when you click "join"

check that on stream elements that's it's connected to the right account. Make sure that it has toutube/Google permissions to have access (not stream element permission). On the stream element dashboard make sure the you have clicked join room (can someone grab a screen shot of this button as I'm at work). Make sure the yt channel for SE is a moderator for the stream. Stop streaming, wait 5 mins then start again. When you start check on the SE dashboard that it says you are live in the top left

I find it helpful for the sidebar notifications for twitch (like follows/subs) only as I stream to both platforms. As far as I'm aware the chat and notification bars don't work for yt (can a mod confirm). As far as being better, it works just the same as normal obs for me

The OBS.Live features are only available for Twitch at this time

That is why you only have the option to login with Twitch. The goal is to have YT support, but there is not going to be an ETA on when that might be expected to happen

They enter their tip info in your tipping page -> Forwarded to PayPal -> PayPal does its thing -> If everything's good, PayPal returns a response to us so we know it happened.

You cant use the same overlay presets for Youtube, since twitch overlays use different parameters. You would have to build it manually @solemn sorrel

We only support directly PayPal and G2A Pay and from what I know G2A Pay was the only one that supported PayTM. But I was told they no longer support it, so I can't suggest anything different.

Please help! I logged out of the Stream Elements website a few days ago, now when I go back to log in, it only wants to connect with my Twitch channel. I never connected Twitch in the first place, and now I don't know how to get to the "YouTube" part of StreamElements anymore.

@runic dune if you go to the StreamElements homepage. Normaly you get asked if you want to log in via YouTube or twitch. Maybe provide a screenshot of some sorts that the button is not there for you?

There is NO possibility to input a overlay via phone for the ps4

You can remote play the image to PC and input to obs and there for have a overlay

But since you don't have a pc

Didn't really work. When I click Login SE still automatically assumes I want to connect Twitch only and asks for permissions to connect

Here is a short recording of what I am talking about. Seems I am completely locked out of logging in to SE with YouTube as I had painstaking set up before. Only option now is to click the "connect with YouTube" button again???

try this, go into your OBS and find one of your overlays, right click and go to properties, copy the link, paste into chrome and change the last part of the link. there will be 2 forward slash's (/). remove everything after the second / and type in editor ( /editor). see what comes up
