try opening the alertbox settings (normally double clicking the source), then change the width to 1920, and height to 1080, then hit CTRL+F. I cant guarentee this working specifically, as SLOBS changed a few things normally in OBS

But this should work. If the CTRL+F does nothing, just manually resize the box to go where it needs to

This is 40.000. You can safely pump out 35.000 without having any issues with anything else running in the background, be it voice, videocalls, smartphone messing around with your WiFi etc.
I would suggest 15.000 on 1080p 60FPS if you use a hardware encoder (NVenc, AMD VCE, Quicksync blah) and 8-12k on x264 (depends on the settings, x264 has higher compression so it looks the same while using less bandwith).

Youtube has no official limit, you can stream 4K on 50 or 100mbit/s which would be 100.000 and youtube will take it. Twitch has a 6k limit.

The process did take some time to set up but without @thorn wedge and others to help me i think i would still be scrambling and tinkering with the application. @xlnc#3910 Looks like it is a count command that has a keyword of "hey" so when someone uses "hey" in chat it triggers their hey count command. This would be done similar to something like a win or death count that you can see in #command-share.

Your stream still broadcasting when you click stop streaming in OBS has nothing to do with the overlay, or the source shutting down or not when not visible

This is recommended to do because if you have an overlay that has widgets that play sounds, you will hear the sound from any active overly. In this case, you need to have the browser source set to shutdown when not visible. This has nothing to do with your broadcast still streaming if you click on stop streaming in OBS

I matched up "shutdown" with an issue surrounding "stop streaming." This is all good to know and also that even though we all use OBS or some other iteration the #helpdesk-youtube is more specific to YT.

@versed tangle I can't speak on what other bots do. I can speak on what we do. We are working with YouTube on this. Like we litterally speak with their team regularly in the creation of this tool. So maybe other bots have a way to scrape the page, of something along those lines, but YouTube does not give a programmatic way to get viewer information to give loyalty points. We are working with them to get this, because we know it will be an awesome addition.

EDIT WORKAROUND:

• Full overlay for Twitch
• Alertbox for YouTube

At the moment what doesn't works is Events/Ground Control

I heard that you can theoretically use two Ground Controls (..) but it's very difficult.

You have to alt-tab between Edge (or incognito mode tab in Chrome) and your regular Chrome to see events.

You pop out both chats.

You could try leaving it at 1920 x 1080 and then just downscale the overlay in OBS to 1600 x 900

I am not sure on the subs part, but like I said, we can troubleshoot tipping. The last time I have showing is 4 days ago (via your activity feed). I am guessing you got one sooner than that. Did you receive a confirmation email from PayPal?

We launched with the modules that are available for YouTube right now. Since there is no loyalty system with YouTube right now (they don't support the method that we use) much of the functionality that uses loyalty points is disabled.

We are working with YouTube to bring the loyalty system to their platform in the future.

hmm, that button is greyed out for me, and when i tried to add my twitch account and connect the two, I got an error, "The Channel you tried to add is linked to a different account". All ive ever done was click "Link To Twitch Account" or "Link to YouTube Account" on the homepage to get in

you need to Create the Overlay/theme you want some elements from

then when you created it go to "my Overlays" and choose to edit the one overlay you want something from. For exsample the Cam Overlay

search in layers for the desired Camframe and Duplicate it into the Overlay you will use with all the other Stuff you are designing your theme in (the duplicate button is the "Copy" symbol with the Red Dot on it)
