If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

I hope this is where I ask. I stream to Twitch regularly, and because OBS and StreamElements pretty much always loads together even if I JUST want to load up OBS without StreamElements, I also stream to a spicy site of mine once a month, so I have a plug in for that as well. Never had issues before. This started about a week or two ago.

Everytime I raid someone at the end of my Twitch stream, my OBS completely closes. No message or anything. It freezes for about a few seconds, then just closes.

It's not a major issue as it only does it at the end of my streams, but it's an annoyance, and my VODs on Twitch will end with the "technical failure" screen. Which again, it's just an annoyance but I definitely wanna fix it in case it ends up expanding to a problem, if it does.

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using SE.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In SE.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

Yes. When I play the sound then close the web browser it cuts off the sound mid play. That’s how I worked out it only works with it open.

When I emulate alerts they work, but when I'm streaming they do not show up. My Streamelements activity feed also shows nothing, while my OBS twitch activity feed does. If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

We have filtered out hosts and will only show these ones on your activity feed:

• All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
• Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline

Note: If you see X channel has hosted you with no viewers on the back, that is considered an offline host or a host with 0 viewers, we do not show these.

There is a second account with the name that is getting the alerts. the emulation is sent from the account you guys manage, so that is why it works. Any alerts sent, are being sent to the second account. That is why it's not working.

All that to say, there isn't a work around besides emulation. Apologies for the inconvenience this may cause.

To clarify, the stats are empty because there were no previous stats to provide - and your account was created today on Stream Elements so any followers, etc you had before joining won't necessarily be listed on your account activity feed as it pulls information from when you create the account on our platform.

Hi, im having an issue with my overlays, specifically the alert box function. I'm finding that when i change scenes, alerts that have previously played, will immediately replay upon scene change. It happens when i move from scene A using overly A, to scene B using overlay B. They both use the same alert box (i duplicated it from overlay A to overlay B). I want the latter part to be added by default.

I haven't thought too deeply about it but my first attempt has been to use ${settitle "${title} | !Discord !Twitter"} to do this. Only issue is that I need to update the title first and then activate this new command separately.

I tried using RegEx to make the bot trigger this new cmd automatically after it sends the message '@person changed the title to XYZ' by using (changed\sthe\stitle\sto) in the RegEx section. It seems to react to the message when I repeat it in chat, but seemingly it doesn't react to itself saying it.

Anyone able to assist me on my trivial pursuit?

Hi new here to stream elements. I put a custom video for the follower thing and while it shows it completely centered on Elements when i do it on stream it gets mostly cut off to the lower right of the box. Is there a fix for this?

hey there! im not entirely sure if this is the right place to ask about this, but im trying to access my chat stats, but it pulls up as a 404. i changed my twitch username a while ago, so when i go to the chat stats page for my old username, it shows the old stats.
old name was beanakai, new name is bennyaki. would it be possible to make the chat stats look at my current page?

If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

The !watchtime command is directly tied to the Loyalty system. The Loyalty system must be enabled for viewers' watchtime to count up.
To enable Loyalty, please go to the Loyalty section of your account: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/loyalty
Watchtime counts up every 10 minutes alongside Loyalty points, and only while the stream is live. Reruns will not be counted.
Please note that watchtime is not tracked by Twitch and there is no way to retroactively apply past watchtime to viewers.

I don’t know what you mean by “classic dashboard in elements”.
Widgets in Streamelements are made using HTML/CSS/JS only. If you want to use a widget from Streamelements that reads your chat, that’s the easiest way.
Go to “my overlays” page, click on Edit button from the overlay you have the chat, and from there, click on “Open Editor”

Check if the audio is going through the capture card in windows audio settings. if not - reconnect, change port, reinstall driver. If that does not help - burn it ritually in a forest, i would even donate to see that on stream 😄

To reset goals:

• from the Overlay Editor > Session data on top right (monitor symbol) > Goals tab > reset progress of desired goal
• from the Dashboard > Activity feed on the left > Widget data on the right > Goals tab -> reset progress of desired goal

Note: Goal widgets (progress) only counts up and doesn't go down automatically, if you lose followers/subs.
