@foggy warren Make sure to ballot_box_with_check: “Shutdown source when not visible” for all browser sources (all OBS scenes). @misty moon 10 minutes of watch time is given to those in chat when the loyalty points are handed out (every 10 minutes). Therefore, loyalty must be enabled to watch time to work properly.
There is no direct link between watch time and all-time points.
It can’t be calculated from the number of all-time points a user has because subs may earn points at a faster rate and !bonus all command increases all-time points for users in the chat at that time.
Giving points to a single user do not affect all-time, only when giving to all in chat.

Hi there!
I have a problem with my gift sub alerts.
For gift sub alerts I have tts off but sometimes randomly it reads out the action as in "x has gifted a sub to y"
I've double and triple checked that I don't accidentally have tts on on these but I don't.. and I really don't know what to do. I'd say it happens like every 3 times?
I also have no alert variations on gifted subs so I really don't understand this. I hope someone can help me since this has never happened to me before while using streamelements alerts.
One last thing I changed was using "victoria" tts instead of another one but I don't know if that would change anything, really.

Sorry for the repost but it wasn't seen yesterday I think.

ok so i had major issues last night with streamelements notifications suddenly stopping showing up and the fact that its not even letting me use my streamer account as the bot now i had to scrap the use of a custom name bot due to the fact that every stream it broke in some way, ground control no longer logs in properly and just breaks and no matter how many times i part and join the bot it wont use my own streamername now

I exited obs and reopened it after the stream ended and the notifications started to function again after i logged back in as it said it timed out my login

after logging back in it still wont let me use the streamername as the bot

@junior echo Our Dashboard and Overlay Editor are Chromium Optimized. We strongly recommend using Chrome. Opera GX and the new Microsoft Edge Chromium might work closest to Chrome as its also Chromium built. Firefox also works, but some things might look a bit different or not work. We do not recommend using Internet Explorer with our Dashboard as it does not support functions.
If the website doesn’t work on chrome, be sure none of your plugins is blocking our website or clear your cookies. You can try if the website works in an incognito tab.

Account Merging - Please note:

  • Merging accounts only allows faster ways to switch between accounts
  • Merging accounts does not allow data sharing between accounts - different streaming platforms, different type of events
  • Merging accounts allows duplicating/sharing overlays between the accounts

If you understand the limitations of merging and want to proceed, please find the JWT tokens (!jwt) from both accounts you want to merge and you will be directed to DM them to a staff member

has there been any update on the follower alerts working now? They work in the test emulator but not live. The alerts are not muted, i've parted and rejoined my channel and have also checked if the alert is sized correctly.

Hi, I'm new on twitch and streamelements. I don't have OBS. I stream directly from ps4. I created an overlay for followers, subs, tips etc. but they are not animated in live during the stream. how can i fix it?

@lament blade Consoles do not have native support for overlays. You would need a capture card, PS4 remote play or Xbox companion app and a PC with OBS in order to have overlays over your console gameplay.

so after searching and failing to figure it out on my own i found the discord. i just started doing some light streaming and used streamelements on a recomendation of some freinds who use it. i only just started a week or 2 ago and am also useing the streamlabs obs right now. but when one of my freinds came into chat while i was playing it, streamelements would time them out for 600 seconds for no apparent reason and i cant figure out how to change the settings or figure out why its timeing them out so if any one could help me with figureing this out that would be nice

so i found my twitch video of it. it completely deleted all the messages so you cant even see what they typed. i messaged them and they said the remember just typing LOL! one of the times and that timed them out

hi, i used to do my alerts and donations through tipeeestream but the alerts have been really buggy and not been working well lately so i was wondering if i could import the exact same alert from tipeeestream to streamelements so my viewers don‘t notice any difference besides the donation page. If this works i would probably switch to streamelements 🙂

ok after talking with some other people it seems like it was symbol protection was the problem. my freind who got timed out might have done like "LOL!!!!!!!!!" and that timed them out it looks like. is there any setting to set how many symbols are allowed?

Also if they typed it in all caps, that could be the problem. You could have caps protection on. To turn that off go to the same place and click on caps, and advanced. The percentage was the problem for me when I had completely normal messages get deleted.

I bought an Overlay set from from Own3d. I logged in to StreamElements and created a blank overlay. Added the alertbox and customised everything. I saved and added it to my stream. When I emulate it comes up perfectly fine but when someone follows or does anything it doesn’t react. Another issue I’m having is that previous followers aren’t showing up either (as well as new followers connecting to the previous issue). How can I fix this?

@whole holly Active duty? I would go ahead and make sure you still have cell service in the states to make sure it's all 1-for-1. You're an American overseas whose gonna PCS eventually and I would use whatever address you use back home to receive mail there.

And if you don't have an address in the States while you're stationed overseas, you should look into one. APO technically is a US address so you should have one of those.

There is not much else here without clearing the cache for the software.

A full relog as described in OBS should re-load everything and make sure that accepted settings are being used.

Go back to SE site, into any overlay editor. There is an option for "Emulate" at the bottom. Looks like a bell.
