1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

each time I try to install ground control v1.7.1 on my win 10 pc the installer splash screen cycles through the loading bar and then goes away with nothing ever happening. I can see ground control sitting in the task bar but I can't click on it. I've rebooted and cleared sys reg to no success. Tried as admin as well.

Delete the JWT token in settings. Make sure you're logged in with youtube on the website you do it as it appears to do that without choice of platform.

As I don't have it connected I don't know if it even works.

Hey guys I want to duplicate some features like a sub goal for example over to another overlay.

However everytime I do this for personal overlays (which are the ones that I edit) do not show up as one of the options to duplicate over even when I scroll down or try to click on a next page which I don't have that much overlays to even do that anyway.

@rigid wigeon Dropped Frames means that you have a bad connection between your device and the streaming platform and most likely something related to your ISP not handling the connection properly.

If you stream to twitch, use the !twitchtest command and do a connection test to your regional servers.

I read this is because Spotify is limiting requests, but this is happening despite nobody using the command for a full 5 days. I tried re-making the command and that also didn't work. Any thoughts?

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/sO7fWOX.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

tip moderation help / feedback -- the Tip Moderation for Standard Profanity Protection has been getting a lot of false positives for the Streamer I mod for. Words such as "attitude" "gratitude" , "titan", etc. get caught in the profanity filter because they all share the same 3 character string that the word "titan" starts with. It'd be nice to at least be able to whitelist legitimate words . Could be intentional behavior but it certainly is a bummer when people tip with a wholesome message about the streamer having a great attitude and they don't get to share their message with the stream. Please let me know if there's a better place for this.

When Im in the alert box with my single loop gifs, when I select them, in the preview, they show off the animation, and then it ends.
But when I use the emulate action, it just shows the end of the gif, so even thought in the preview it shows the animation as a single loop gif, I need it in video format(mov, mp4, ect.) in order to have it activate the single loop animation for alerts?

@obsidian tulip I love the idea! Unfortunately the count variable isn't setup per user, rather per stream. This means you can't have each individual viewer have their own number. There may be some sort of API to do what you're trying to do though, I just don't know what it is sadly.

Giving points to a single user does not affect all-time, only when giving to all in chat.

One of my mods can execute the commands and gets points deducted, but no sound is played. With my other mod, everything works without any problems. I have already thrown the affected mod out of the user management and added it again, unfortunately it did not help. Unfortunately, we did not find the error because it really only occurs with this one person and only with these commands.

Hi, im currently having an issue with a chat command. The command is the "!watchtime" command. I have been onto streamelements and have activated the command as well as having the loyalty settings activated however, when i use the command even though i have been watching for a while it will continue to say "watched for 0 seconds", is there any way of fixing this ?

@rocky mulch 10 minutes of watchtime are given to those in chat when the loyalty points are handed out (every 10 minutes). Therefore, loyalty must be enabled for watchtime to work properly.
There is no direct link between watchtime and all-time points.
It can’t be calculated from the amount of all-time points a user has because subs may earn points at a faster rate and !bonus all command increases all-time points for users in chat at that time.
Giving points to a single user does not affect all-time, only when giving to all in chat.

I've a quick question! I've toggled Text To Speech for when I get bit donations of 90 bits or higher and I've saved the alert. During stream when people give me 100 bits, it pops up the alert I programmed but does not play TTS. Neither can I hear it when I preview it on Stream Elements, it's most certainly toggled on though and the alert does play when the action is taken. Just no TTS!

you probably must have had an error in the points system. Because I remember well when I started the reruns and I tested on a different user account than my streamer account and I was counting the normal points in the rerun system

I've updated the video colors to match my theme. WHen I go to test the alert box, all that shows up in the test is the follower. Note: Goal widgets (progress) only counts up and doesn't go down automatically, if you loose followers/subs.

@wild frigate If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/sO7fWOX.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

@vital swallow Is the donation in PayPal marked as pending? If it's pending in PayPal, it won't hit your activity feed and therefore your alerts until it is 100% cleared by PayPal.

My viewers are not getting bonus loyalty points for subs\tips\etc. They are still getting the ones for watching the stream, they are logged nto streamelements, and the loyalty bonuses are set up

Widgets by themselves are done within the overlay editor. Entire overlays are done within that section by clicking the 3 dots.

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

!watchtime cmd is a default cmd and can not be modified

example would say watched for 4 months 4 weeks 4 hours etcc...

The pending tips situation is a case of the payments mediator responsible for SE.Pay doing a periodic review and during the review tips aren't processed by them, once the review is complete all tips will be credited. We have a strong belief that the review will be complete within the next few days

• from the Overlay Editor > Session data on top right (monitor symbol) > Goals tab > reset progress of desired goal
• from the Dashboard > Activity feed on the left > Widget data on the right > Goals tab -> reset progress of desired goal

Note: Goal widgets (progress) only counts up and doesn't go down automatically, if you loose followers/subs.
