@lament blade Consoles do not have native support for overlays. You would need a capture card and a PC with OBS in order to have Overlays over your console gameplay.

@opaque kestrel If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:
1.) In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2.) Click on Stream Settings -> Custom bot name
3.) In the "Custom bot name" field select "Set custom bot name", not your already existing username (with capital letters)
Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/sO7fWOX.png)
4.) Scroll a bit down and click on the purple "CONNECT CUSTOM BOT ACCOUNT" button
5.) Log in as usual and "Authorize" the custom bot name
6.) Back in the Activity feed, click on the "SEND TEST MESSAGE" button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

So lets say I have a camframe and an alert, they are the same size. Why on earth do they look different in the overlay editor? I mean they are identical if I use them as photos side by side, how do I ge them the exat came size when they get diffrent sized windows in the overlay editor?

I put both my cam and my alerts in the same adress in the overlay. I dont want multiple sources in my obs, so I try to line up my Alert and cam in the Overlay editor first then I have only one source in OBS to fiddle with

I've been experiencing a memory leak in my obs and i've pinpointed it to the browser source overlay from streamelements. I've opened my obs log and I found this repeated constantly: "obs-browser: missing emote definition (source: https://streamelements.com/overlay/scripts/app.js:299)" . Any ideas on what is happening? It's causing me to end my streams early due to OBS crashing because my computer runs out of virtual memory.

I linked my Twitch account where my Facebook account. The matter is that I want to remove the twitch channel by "Closing the account" on the "Security" tab on my settings; provide my email and my JWT token and seems to work but it really doesn't do anything, closes the modal and the channel stills there.

I also tried to remove the YouTube account so I can have my three channels with the same owner, but I can't because for some reason Brand Google Accounts doesn't provide any email, the console says "email"=null and when I try to close it, it doesn't let for the same reason

@modern moth 10 minutes of watchtime are given to those in chat when the loyalty points are handed out (every 10 minutes). Therefore, loyalty must be enabled for watchtime to work properly.
There is no direct link between watchtime and all-time points.
It can’t be calculated from the amount of all-time points a user has because subs may earn points at a faster rate and !bonus all command increases all-time points for users in chat at that time.
Giving points to a single user does NOT affect all-time, only when giving to all in chat.

Hi all, I am trying to add chat alerts to my channel as I'm a ps4 streamer and are missing these on the active feed. I've enabled alerts and all the options for followers, host and raids. I have added streamelement as a mod to my channel. The commands, go live and new follower chat alerts seem to be working fine. But I don't get anything for hosts, raids and bits donated. Have I missed an additional setting? Really want to thank those who raid and host me.

• Subscriber count will count the Channel and any other permanent sub you may have (+1 or +2 or +3 on top).

@hot pulsar If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:
1.) In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2.) Click on Stream Settings -> Custom bot name
3.) In the "Custom bot name" field select "Set custom bot name", not your already existing username (with capital letters)
Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/sO7fWOX.png)
4.) Scroll a bit down and click on the purple "CONNECT CUSTOM BOT ACCOUNT" button
5.) Log in as usual and "Authorize" the custom bot name
6.) Back in the Activity feed, click on the "SEND TEST MESSAGE" button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

regarding supportai's response, it mentioned it shows all hosts with 1+ viewer. these are viewers giving me 1viewer hosts, so it should show up on activity feed and thus play on screen though, right?

i checked with twitch dashboard for events, only 1 1-viewer host appeared despite having several throughout the stream.

I'm loving streamelements but there's just one thing that I cannot figure out, how could I set the chatbot timers to send a message every "x" minutes?
I would like to send all my messages one after the other instead of having to set it up independently for each message, that causes the bot to do a monologue at times and it's a bit annoying..

@drowsy forum You can set a timer and set each desired response like a queue. Once first one is triggered it goes to the next one in the "list" and so on.

@ember ruin there is also the issue of Twitch itself not showing the host in your activity feed (they are aware of the issue), despite the item showing up in your channel chat (not from the streamelements bot - it's just a notification from twitch)

@icy lynx Dropped Frames means that you have a bad connection between your device and the streaming platform and most likely something related to your ISP not handling the connection properly.

Speed tests usually cannot help solve this problem and its best to use this guide: https://obsproject.com/wiki/Dropped-Frames-and-General-Connection-Issues

If you stream to twitch, use the !twitchtest command and do a connection test to your regional servers.
