@tough flint There is no current way on copying Commands and Timers, these have to be added on your other account again.
For your overlays, please link your other platform channel to StreamElements via the website and add them via the top left channel icon.
We can merge your accounts if you send in the JWT tokens of both to a Staff member, don't share these within the server, they are private.

When you go to My Overlays over at the website, click the import from other channels button to import your mixer overlays to the new platform.
Merch stores are not getting copied through accounts, you will have to set up your merch store from start on your new platform.

Do notice that some things are not compatible between platforms, these need to be manually edited (like total embers is total bits on Twitch)

@versed ridge Depends how you are setting it up - via overlay entirely you can add your graphic as well and other widgets and then add that overlay to OBS.

@zenith widget ah i think i see the issue. When I go to add a Command keyword and click Save, it doesn't actually save. I can click twice on the Expand/Collapse arrow for the !join command and it shows that the entered keyword is saved, but when I refresh the page the keyword disappears.

There is no direct link between watchtime and all-time points.
It can’t be calculated from the amount of all-time points a user has because subs may earn points at a faster rate and !bonus all command increases all-time points for users in chat at that time.
Giving points to a single user does NOT affect all-time, only when giving to all in chat.

@errant lance There are no "best settings".
Please understand that every setup will be very different.

Any guides or videos that claim otherwise are misinforming. Your best option is to start with a base and adjust as necessary.

You can run the OBS auto-configuration tool. To use the auto-config, click on the Tools menu in OBS, select Auto-Configuration Wizard, and then just follow the on-screen directions.
You can use this tool to get baseline settings for your hardware and adjust as necessary from there.

Test, test, and test again. We are happy to offer suggestions for any issues you may be having afterwards, but not a list of settings.

Help - So guys short term, is there a short term workaround for not being able to use Lightstream with Twitch, I still want to use StreamElements and stream from the Xbox, I have a Macbook Pro (with no usb ports) but it does have lightning ports USB C, someone suggested to me the following, and I wanted to know from someone in the know if this would work. I purchase a capture device and plug it into the my xbox and then take a hdmi to USB C adapter and plug it into my MacBook, then download OBS OpenSource for Mac would that allow me to use webcam and use my StreamElements overlays etc (or just add new overlays) Thanks

There is no easy way to unlink 2 owner type accounts from each other. The only way is to make a closure request from here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/account/security
WARNING: In submitting a closure request you will delete both linked accounts and loose all data from both accounts. This includes overlays, custom commands, timers and past data(tips, subs, etc). You can still relogin with the deleted account, but you are essentially starting fresh.

1. The Gif, regardless of how long the sound clip is, will be on screen for 30 seconds.
2. The "JohnDoe Redeemed <Command> for X points" can not be suppressed.

MUTE MR FOR YOURSELF, STREAM CAN HEAR

• Make a new overlay in the editor, ONLY add the media request widget,
• Add a new browser source in OBS, add the URL and set the dimensions correctly,
• Tick the box for "Control audio via OBS"

NOTE: This will play through the Desktop Audio, if you mute your desktop audio, it will mute the MR.

• Run your MR either in Chrome or in Ground Control (use command !gc),
DO NOT CLICK "SHOW ON STREAM"
• Set Chrome or GC in the VAC as an audio input and output,
• Add the audio output from VAC as an audio input in OBS,
NOTE: this will not be able to show the video in OBS

It is currently not possible to separate audio for yourself and stream if you ALSO want to show the video in OBS.
The only way to do this would be to follow the last set of instructions above and then use Window Capture on GC or Chrome.

Since I'm transitioning to Twitch from Mixer, will my merch store and donation links still work when signed into my StreamElements account through Twitch? And will I still receive revenue through them?

@broken obsidian There is no current way on copying Commands and Timers, these have to be added on your other account again.
For your overlays, please link your other platform channel to StreamElements via the website and add them via the top left channel icon.
We can merge your accounts if you send in the JWT tokens of both to a Staff member, don't share these within the server, they are private.

When you go to My Overlays over at the website, click the import from other channels button to import your mixer overlays to the new platform.
Merch stores are not getting copied through accounts, you will have to set up your merch store from start on your new platform.

Do notice that some things are not compatible between platforms, these need to be manually edited (like total embers is total bits on Twitch)

Right now I'm using camerafi live because they give me the the best smoothest stream I apologize for not letting the video buffer in previewing it before you can do it on Twitch I did that live on Twitch. You can go to Twix and go to my channel Mikey thee alpha Beast and view it if you like, I'm using camera if I live on a Samsung Galaxy S9. I cannot use obs because I do not have access to a computer all I have is this phone to work from please take that into consideration and damn give me a moment of your time I put a lot of time into this and my time is valuable to me I don't mean to be disrespectful

@covert mortar Your recording clearly displays the overlays you open loading without issue within your browser. It's only when you add the overlay to your app as an overlay that the .webm files responsible for the animations do not appear and play. This is a result of the app you're using not having a proper embedded framework to handle these types of files within an overlay. As previously stated, you need to reach out to CameraFi Live support, as we cannot assist you with this.

@covert mortar This is a screen capture from your recording, clearly displaying that the overlay when launched in your mobile browser is loading as intended. The overlay itself is functioning with no issues. It is the app's failure to load the overlay within its functionality that is the issue, and for assistance with that, you need to speak with CameraFi Live support, not us.
I will be deleting this image shortly, and I highly recommend deleting your recording as well, as your overlay URL can be used to compromise your account.

Hello! Hoping someone can help me out. I recently merged my mixer and twitch channels (then RIP mixer, but regardless) however now my Ground Control doesn't work. It just doesn't launch at all on my PC. It just sits in the taskbar with a white box. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing, and restarting my PC. I never had ground control connected to my twitch account, only my mixer account (which is now merged with my twitch). Is there someway I could maybe clear the cache if it's still trying to login to my mixer account? Just a thought...or any other ideas. Thanks in advance.

This is a known issue with how the top tipper list works in comparison to the tip list. Unfortunately, nothing can be done at this time until the devs look into it further.

@analog crescent If you changed your name on Twitch please follow these steps:
🔹 Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again with by connecting with Twitch.
🔹 On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select "Join" under bot settings. If it says "Part" select that and then select "Join" to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
🔹 Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

Our Dashboard and Overlay editor are Chromium Optimized. We strongly recommend using Chrome. Opera GX and the new Microsoft Edge Chromium might work closest to Chrome as its also Chromium built. FireFox also works, but some things might look a bit different or not work. We do not recommend using Internet Explorer with our Dashboard as it does not support functions.
If the website doesn’t work on chrome, be sure none of your plugins are blocking our website or clear your cookies. You can try if the website works in a incognito tab.

Hello! I recently setup the SE cloudbot and enabled the banned words spam filter. I entered the words I want banned using wildcards (*). When I went live, people's messages with none of the words in my list were getting deleted. Most of the banned words in my list had the wildcard (asterisk) before and after the word. Is that not the correct way to add the words with a wildcard? I'm at a loss as to why those messages were being deleted

Hello, I have been working on figuring out Grot's Credit roll all week. I think I've made some progress. I can get it to work just fine, but only AFTER I end the stream. I'm very confused as to why it won't update while the stream is live. Does it have something to do with my session data? Do I need to have launchpad or something running?

The strange thing to me is that in my overlay editor it shows the names of recent subs/follows, etc. It just won't show in OBS or on stream unless I stop the stream. Any help is appreciated, feel free to DM me since my post will likely get lost in here.

@zenith widget thank you! I only have one group (profanity) so they should all match to that group. Luckily I had it set to a 2 second timeout and not a ban, but was unsure why the messages were being deleted that had no profanity at all. I'll play around with it a little more. Thanks!
