Hi, I'm currently trying to transition bots from Streamlabs Chatbot to StreamElements and having a bit of trouble with the watch time transfer. I export the currency CSV and import it into StreamElements dashboard but it is only working for my highest viewers and assuming hours as minutes for 95% of the rest. For example one of my viewers has 93 hours but StreamElements takes that as 93 minutes.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

6) type in the console this: store.customBot.removeCustomBotIntegration() and hit enter
7) Try setting the custom bot name

2) Start your stream/recording for about 30 seconds. Make sure you replicate any issues as best you can, which means having any games/apps open and captured, etc.
3) Stop your stream/recording.
4) Select Help > Log Files > Upload Current Log File. Copy the URL and paste the link here.

I created a custom command to use /marker but for some reason the bot will send it to the channel as plain text and not a twitch command. Doing the same thing to use other twitch chat commands like /timeout etc works just fine. The bot is an editor+mod on twitch, so it shouldn't be a permission problem. @frosty heart I tested the /marker added on a custom command in 3 ways and it none worked. 1. bot with default name (StreamElements), 2. bot with custom name (another name), 3. bot with custom name (streamer name). The Twitch only identified the command in the chat when I typed it and without using the bot. FeelsWeirdMan

Hi, I've had to de-mod the streamelements bot because of it timing out raiders and chat for no real reason. Seemingly for emoji and emote useage, but not consistently at that, either. I only had emotes (set to 30 as the limit), and symbols (also set to 30) filters on.

I use Chatty and thus see the messages that chat is typing, and none of them broke the filters. I also do have the obs.live addon, and did also de-mod my twitch bot account for now, just in case the bot's still tied though that as a mod as well.

Is there something I'm doing wrong?

@mystic night 10 minutes of watchtime are given to those in chat when the loyalty points are handed out (every 10 minutes). Therefore, loyalty must be enabled for watchtime to work properly.
There is no direct link between watchtime and all-time points.
It can’t be calculated from the amount of all-time points a user has because subs may earn points at a faster rate and !bonus all command increases all-time points for users in chat at that time.
Giving points to a single user does NOT affect all-time, only when giving to all in chat.

I'm not sure if this is the right channel but here goes..I have tried/failed to modify some of the overlay templates. I have them in my gallery but I cannot change the text in the social media link boxes. i.e changing the TWITTER to my twitter handle. Do you have any advice or maybe a link to video etc? Hi, I'm currently trying to transition bots from Streamlabs Chatbot to StreamElements and having a bit of trouble with the watch time transfer. I export the currency CSV and import it into StreamElements dashboard but it is only working for my highest viewers and assuming hours as minutes for 95% of the rest. For example one of my viewers has 93 hours but StreamElements takes that as 93 minutes.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hey there, I have a question regarding my twitch stream and StreamElements.
Since last week my stream has become very laggy and many frames are being dropped, not in my game or the obs preview but my twitch stream itself making it unbearable to watch

My PC specs are;

  • Nvidia 970
  • Intel Core i7-9700k
  • 16 GB ram
    I also have ethernet and I've done the Ookla speed test my results were
  • Ping 9
  • 222.90 DOWNLOAD Mbps
  • 10.11 UPLOAD Mbps (which I've been told is plenty)

The one concerning thing was when I did the "google speed test" the results were much different,
327.1 Mbps download
2.11 Mbps upload
But every solution video I've tried recommends Ookla instead.

And my output settings right now are;
Nvidia NVenc H.264 (new) (the not new is not an option right now)
CBR
Bitrate 3000 kbps
keyframe interval 2
preset - performance
profile - high
look ahead and psycho visual turning - on
GPU - 0
max b frames - 2

I've been struggling adjusting settings hoping it would work and if it is my internet I'm just confused on what could've caused it to decrease so much in a week.
Any help or recommendations would be greatly appreciated! Thank you

@royal nova Dropped Frames usually means that you have a bad connection with the streaming service(Twitch/Youtube/Mixer/Facebook) and most likely something related to your ISP not handling the connection properly.
Speed tests usually cannot help solve this problem and its best to use this guide: https://obsproject.com/wiki/Dropped-Frames-and-General-Connection-Issues

Hello, I got a few questions because I want to create a second Channel on Twitch bc of private reasons. I used Streamlabs OBS and the Streamlabs Chatbot before but I think it will be easier to start with StreamElements for the second Channel instead of copying everything and creating a second profile there. So my main question is, can I import everything from there? Like Scenes, Alerts and everything?

You can use the website to import alerts, tips, and commands from Streamlabs/Chatbot @raw wolf At the top right of the website is an "Import" link.

For scenes and such, save your scenes/profile in SLOBs, export them and you should be able to import them directly into OBS Studio. Keep in mind though...

The way StreamLabs and StreamElements works is different so you'd have to recreate your on-screen assets (webcam border, etc...) in the overlay editor on the website then replace your 1,000 StreamLab browser sources with a single StreamElements browser source.

It'll take some work but yes you'll be able to get everything over. The most tedious parts of it can be made to be automatic but once you've got everything over and working like you want it, you'll find yourself much happier. If making the move, I would not reccomend continuing to use SLOBs but using OBS Studio with the OBS.Live plugin installed.

Your workflow would be

  1. Import Alerts/Tips via website.
  2. Import commands from Chatbot via website.
  3. Creating an overlay in the overlay editor.
  4. Add your imported alertbox to the overlay.
  5. Uploading any assets you plan on using to the overlay editor.
  6. Making everything looks like you want it.
  7. Adding your StreamElements browser source to OBS Studio.
  8. Making sure all your other sources (game capture, webcam, etc...) are added, sized and placed correctly.
