I have looked and there are no instructions in my email. When I added my package to StreamLabs, all I had to do was click the "one click" file and it all went into my account. I don't see that option here in Stream Elements. I also don't have an overlay manager. I have "my overlay" where I can plug everything in one piece at a time, and I have the "theme overlays" option. I truly am trying to solve this on my own, but I'm just not seeing a way to upload the file. I am also haveing trouble uploading MP4 files to the video section. Thank you.

Via the "My Overlays" you can make a fresh overlay and start adding the package's assets one by one and try and make it as close as possible to what it is

@lament blade There is no easy way to unlink 2 owner type accounts from each other. The only way is to make a closure request from here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/account/security
WARNING: In submitting a closure request you will delete both linked accounts and loose all data from both accounts. This includes overlays, custom commands, timers and past data(tips, subs, etc). You can still relogin with the deleted account, but you are essentially starting fresh.

  • from the overlay editor -> data on top -> goal tab -> reset progress of desired goal
  • from the dashboard -> activity feed on the left -> widget data on the right -> goals tab -> reset progress of desired goal
    Note: Goal widgets(progress) only counts up and doesn't go down automatically, if you loose followers/subs

Note, Staff can merge acounts for you possibly. So you do not need to close your account.

  • Ground Control does not have Custom Bot Name
  • Subscriber count will count the Channel and any other permanent sub you may have (+1 or +2 or +3 on top).
    We are working on fixing both issues, but there is no ETA.
    OBS.Live still has Custom Bot name working fine in it.

I'm having a fairly serious issue with my overlays not properly loading after scene switching. As long as I do not have a full screen application, it works fine. But if I have a game open, and I switch from one scene to another, it only partially loads the elements.

The elements of my scene are loaded into the overlay editor in SE and exported to OBS.Live into one source.

@wary halo Refreshing the browser source cache is the same as the "reload overlays" button - it's only a temporary fix.

If I select "refresh browser when scene becomes active" then it fixes the issue. However, it also clears the chat history in the chat box.

Steps:

  1. Install the font on the streaming PC or choose a pre-installed windows font.
  2. In the overlay widget settings, select Text Settings

  4. Type the name of the font as it appears in the windows font directory (This is usually C:\Windows\Fonts)

Note: After installing fonts, the browser and OBS must be restarted for the font to appear.

I just added StreamElements to my chat and was just attempting to change the text of the event messages that pop up in my Twitch chat whenever events happen (in the dashboard under Bot -> Modules -> Chat Alerts), but despite getting the little green message saying that the changes I made are "Saved", whenever I click on a different event tab (such as "Hosts") and then click back on one in which I had previously edited messages for, none of my settings are ever saved and they keep resetting back to the default event messages. Why is this happening and why can't I add custom event messages?

I had 12,816 points in Gaules stream channel. Gaules is a csgo streamer, and when there are csgo matches he opens bets, then you can bet on the team you think is going to win the match. Today had a match between Faze Clan x OG. I bet 2,816 points on Faze Clan. Then I lost 2816 for a while, thats normal because when you bet you lost your points until the end of the match. If the team you voted wins, you will reveive the points you bet back and your profit. I don't know why, When I bet 2,816 points I lost 5,632 without reason, I just lost. Then if I should be with 10,000 points (12,816 - 2816), I was with 7,184 points (12,816 - 5,632). It doesn't make sense, because I bet only 2,816 points. Faze won the game, then I got 2,816 points (the amount I bet) back more the profit. Exactly now I have 11,078 points. Basically I profited 1,078 points, but I lost without reason 2,816 points. I should be with 11,078 + 2,816 = 13,894 points. I should be with 13,894 points but I am with 11,078 because I lost 2,816 points without any reason. Probably It was a bug on the site, but I want to know exactly what happened and if possible have my points back.

Hi all, having a couple issues with triggered sounds. I have an alert sound/video set when someone tips/follows/subscribes etc. I heard the sound play from my speakers during my stream but on the archived video, the sound doesn't appear so I'm not sure if viewers heard it. Also, trying to set up a sound effect for users to trigger in the chat and a custom command for that. I set it to be redeemable offline and tested it out in offline chat. It triggers properly but I don't hear the sound. I'm guessing I have to be broadcasting to hear the sound effect?

What i just said that each overlay give you a unique URL, and if you read what the bot said you will notice that he doesn't recommend that either, just listed some features that you can/can't accomplish with the merge

I've tried to fix it with the available commands, but no success.. and I don't have access to delete/skip it, i just get "No song is current playing." We can put new one's in the queue, but it won't jump ahead to it/past the "broken/stuck one"... I've sent messages to channel owner, I guess nothing more to do for now..

When you do the command via chat !kappagen it will do what setting you have set, let's say emote explosion it will then do a big explosion of the emotes but if you do !kappagen <emote> <amount> you can have fun with a single emote an do a big explosion of that emote that was chosen πŸ™‚

heyo, so i'm making a new scene for my stream, and i'm using a font from streamelements (homemade apple). it works in the overlay editor and looks fine, but on obs live preview it just becomes a generic serif font instead of updating to the font i chose in the editor. i feel like this is probably a rly simple fix but i have no idea what to do and i can't find any literature on this problem on google

Steps:

  1. Install the font on the streaming PC or choose a pre-installed windows font.
  2. In the overlay widget settings, select Text Settings
  3. Enable Custom Font
  4. Type the name of the font as it appears in the windows font directory (This is usually C:\Windows\Fonts)

Note: After installing fonts, the browser and OBS must be restarted for the font to appear.
