Heyo! It has been a few months ago now since I've asked this, but I'm really curious if there's already a fix for it.

At this moment, I still cannot change the StreamElement bot to my own bot. The option for that is completely gone for me, and I would love to use my custom bot again with StreamElements.
I do know that it was unavailable to some people due to the Twitch API changes, but I'm wondering if there's already a way to fix this, or not yet.

Hey guys! I'm having some trouble with media request. My setup is as follows: I have the widget on an overlay and play it through obs controlling its audio via obs so I can add some filters to the music (a compressor and a limiter). Thing is, some songs randomly fail to start at the 0 minute mark, and start right in the middle of the song. When that song finishes, I get no music for the rest of the remaining time the song should play, had it started at the 0 minute mark. Thanks for your time and stay safe!

Near as I can tell my streamelements overlay isn't being output in OBS. It /was/ working fine, and now... its not. I've recreated the source and I'm not having any luck. Thoughts?

Alright, after doing a few things, I finally found the option to use a custom bot account for StreamElements.

However, when I connected / authorized it, it did go back to OBS.Live but nothing happened after that. The bot account did not connect either.
I tried this a few times, including restarting OBS.Live, disconnecting and connecting bot account, etc. but it still didn't work.
Hopefully someone is able to help out with this!

We and Streamlabs both tracking your bits and subs and so on - we don't gather them for you - those are part of your Twitch affiliate agreement and Twitch handles them

so i just tried to download streamlements but no luck on that

Gday folks, Having issues with sound. Very new user trying to get my head around things.
I have only done a few streams (last one just over a week ago) and it was working fine. However since I updated the software on launch today the audio on stream is only for blocks or random length with random intervals.

Run through some network speed tests and the twitch bitrate inspector tool, and all seems fine there, and video seems good on the stream too.

On test it is just game audio (constant background noise) that I am testing with.

Using my phone to test playback the video is 1.5mins delayed and the audio is in spurts.

Appreciate any input on this.

Hey I'm in the process of migrating my commands from NightBot to StreamElements and I for a few commands that use the "eval" format and they seem to now work now. I was wondering how do i perform an "if-else" format in my commands (in my case i want the command to change according to the person its executed on).

  • All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
  • Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline
    Note: If you see "X channel has hosted you" with no viewers on the back, that is considered an offline host or a host with 0 viewers, we do not show these.
    Note for Mixer streamers: The above 2 filters currently apply for Mixer and we are aware its actually not how Mixer hosts work. We do plan on changing it, but no ETA on when.

  • Ground Control does not have Custom Bot Name
  • Subscriber count will count the Channel and any other permanent sub you may have (+1 or +2 or +3 on top).
    We are working on fixing both issues, but there is no ETA.
    OBS.Live still has Custom Bot name working fine in it.

So I need some help getting the bot to do some evaluation of math. I saw in another streamer's commands use $(eval ...) to do math with the bot but I can't seem to get it to do anything.

I think the issue is that my Follower bonus is set to 300 but it doesn't add that to the 'All Time' section for the user

well, tbh and fair i wouldnt do that, rewards for follows n tips being turned off for an unknown amount of time seems abit much. it really wont effect anything keeping them on as current will change up and down as points are earned/spent

Hi OBS Stream Elements team I have a problem, the following: I had installed OBS stream elements a long time ago (just to see how it was made) but then, in the uninstallation it uninstalled it in fact I can't find it anymore but if I go to the control panel of the pc and subsequently on programs and functionalities I still find the softwere stramelements.obs and if I click on uninstall I uncheck the downaload of the uninstallation but then before the uninstallation is completed the download stops and tells me: "setup was not completed successfully" and it just clicks cancel, what should I do? (I have tried to restart my pc several times! Thanks in advance for the support!

@west glade There is no easy way to unlink 2 owner type accounts from each other. The only way is to make a closure request from here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/account/security
WARNING: In submitting a closure request you will delete both linked accounts and loose all data from both accounts. This includes overlays, custom commands, timers and past data(tips, subs, etc). You can still relogin with the deleted account, but you are essentially starting fresh.

Hi, so i stream on twitch, and I use window capture when i stream. i don't know why but its the best capture settings for my frames.
The issue im having when i try and capture MW, it only captures the cursor. but not the actual game. ive tried other games and it captures it just fine. its just CODMW. any suggestions?
