@analog inlet Sorry man I got pretty busy. I've never seen something like this either. It's weird as the FPS shouldn't drop with that GPU and game. You can try to have an eye on your GPU usage while playing and most importantly, start OBS as admin. There are some huge improvements since OBS v23.0.2 where OBS gets the same prioritization as a game when started as admin. This could already fix your FPS dips.

ok....i have a question about scrolling texts. This might sound OCD or something but here goes: Suppose I have 5 elements where I show my social links nicely placed on top of each other. But one word is longer than other words... eventually it runs 'out of synch' because the shorter word repeats itself faster than the longer words. Would there be a way to remedy this?

Not that I am aware of, as you cannot control the scroll speed. A workaround would be to code the widget yourself. We can try to assist you in #dev-chat but it would require basic knowledge of HTML/JS/CSS

One work around to control its mixer volume is to make a blank overlay, add the media request widget, save, add the overlay to the gaming PC, then in the properties of the browser source there is a "monitor audio" option - this will separate the browser source's audio in a separate mixer level in OBS.
But this means you will need to show the video via the MR controls

Close down stream information,
In OBS go to view > docks > chat
Click on the cog, go to non-mod settings
look under "My Preferences" to enable/disable dark mode

there is a thing for subs where the user will need to "share" the sub for it to show (this includes the activity feed and alerts).
however im not sure if this is the case for prime subs.
as twitch is getting and showing this info try these:
go to your SE dashbaord and log out then back in
go in obs, in the menu streamelements >logout then log in
same with settings > stream
if it happens again come back and we can escalate it to have someone look server side for you

i would say check your variations in the overlay, but as this doesnt come through on the twitch integrated activity feed or chat then it would either be down to the users not sharing when they subs, or a twitch issue.
i can ask around to see if the others would know what it could be
@undone flower the SE bot can be in your twitch channel and will work even if you are only on console, the only thing would not work is overlays. you would need an extra provider like lightstream or connect your console to pc and stream from that

howdy everyone, does anyone here know the best way about putting your own video into streamelements? I know there is the import function, but it only supports 30mb. The file i am trying to submit is about 70mb. The only reason it is that high is because it has transparency in the bg (I created a webcam overlay in After Effects and want to actually put it in) and it's causing a lot of issues. When I save it normally as an mp4 it saves with a black bg, which is not what I want, although without the transparent bg its only 1.6mb. Does anyone know a solution or a better way of getting around this?

Editing two counters with the default command is not possible.
You could make a custom command with the count variable but the two (kll/death counter) would always be added/reduced/set to the same value you enter.
You can make default commads to add/reduce/set the counters individually.

Everytime a friend of mine hosts me, i see it in the twitch chat like how it usually is, but nothing shows up in the activity feed or the alert box. when i test alerts like followers and hosts, it shows up, so im not sure what the problem is. Any help would be appreciated.

I have added the store redemption widget to my overlay, however I keep having an issue where 'redeemed' is being shown constantly.

Type a fontname you want to use to display widget. If it is a google font it will be fetched automatically, if not that font has to be installed locally on your streaming PC.

You can make the bot take a custom name and change that color, or make it answer in your channel name and so your channel name color.

@flint copper I think you should export it to mov with alpha channel (Channels: RGB + Alpha) and it should have both full and semi transparency. Then convert it to webm file (via ffmpeg or convertio) and it should be fine. If your AE output has white outline export file will have it too.

which my built in one is AMD and my other one is nvidia which I have my monitor set to Nvidia.. but OBS is still using the AMD one

Bungie has opted to not allow OBS to hook Destiny 2 using Game Capture. See: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/46101
You will need to run the game in either windowed fullscreen or borderless windowed and use Window Capture instead.

In this streamers chat, I had like 10 hours in their stream, and was #1 in their chat, then I changed my twitch name and lost all my progress including followage, so before I would type !watchtime and I would get 10 hours, and after I changed my name I typed !watchtime and got 20 mins, so Is there any way I can mix the 2 since Iโve been watching a lot of his stream and got some of my hours back but Iโd like them all

I just wanted to ask here before submitting an idea in case I just don't understand the right way to do this. I now understand what skip alert does. I see the colored line to the left of the alert that shows as read or unread. Would it be a good idea to automatically skip alerts marked as read while the alerts are paused once you unpause them?
I say this because last night I had a troll with an unfortunate name that I did not want to show, and I thought that if I marked it as read before I played alerts from other viewers it wouldn't show, but it did and I panicked and couldnt kill my overlays in time since I was unready for it ๐ฆ
