when an alert plays it closes my "top gifters" list i have in my full cam overlay
and when i make an overlay with duplicated widgets in it i have to put all alerts in a tiny portion of the screen, and this wouldnt be a problem but i cant scale alerts down because the text size/position stay the same no matter how small the alerts video is

So basically i installed the kappagen widget on my overlays which is working as i believe its intended... but i want to get it working slightly different.
Instead of reading the emotes from chat i want a viewer to be able to show an emote on screen on command, this will allow me to add a points cost against the command.
I don't really want it to be animated, just show up in a random place on the screen for a few seconds and then disappear.
Also i want them to be able to choose the emote. Is this something that might be possible?
If so how would i go about setting that up?
I not through kappagen would you have any other suggestions?

@celest cove as far as i know it's not possible to choose a random emote when using the store items, as it will always ask (when setting up) for an image that is shown when the alert plays. but i will ask around if someone knows a workaround or another option 😉

There is an emote counter widget that i added which i would like to use but i'm not sure if its supported by yourselves?
Basically as emotes appear in chat if there is a chain of emotes then a x* Counter will appear.
however i would expect it to dissapear after a brief amount of time and reset. But this is not the case and it seems to stay on the screen in definitely until the scenes are changed.
Any ideas?

then go to: Advanced Audio Settings
make sure the boxes in the #1 are all ticked
that is your audio going to your stream, if your source is not ticked there, it will not be sent to your stream

i need help. i got a new mic for christmas and when i stream, the stream can hear me but not the other ppl that im talking to. In the bottom right of streamlabs obs i have mic/aux unmuted and desktop audio muted. when i unmute desktop audio the stresm can hear my friends/other people but it has a reallyu long, annoying echo. anyone know how to fix? btw the new mic is the Audio-Technica at2020+usb. @ me if anyone responds. I installed OBS.live and my microphone is not working anymore. I had this issue a few months back, now I use a different mic with a 3.5 jack output, and a 3 pin to 4 pin adapter to use with my headset. Not even my PC recognises the mic anymore, and it worked perfectly up until this point. I'm lost and tried everything.

@tender mesa If you changed your name on Twitch please follow these steps:
🔹 Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again with by connecting with Twitch.
🔹 On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select "Join" under bot settings. If it says "Part" select that and then select "Join" to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
🔹 Post your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

Yeah, there's no option to have a solid connected background on the widget. Putting something behind it is your best bet.

It sounds like you have the wrong mic selected in OBS.

I know you can skip the alert, but if you have like a "last follower" can you have it removed from there, or do you have to take away the whole thing?

So during a stream, Cheer/Bits will show on twich via alert box. When someone Host or raid the alert box does not show on stream.

Building multiple overlays for starting, be right back, live, etc... want alerts on all but only way I can figure is if I make updates, to make it to one and then I would have to duplicate the latest and greatest version of Alert Box across them all.
