Not sure where to ask this since it's a question about Stream Elements' overlay editor specifically, but has anyone else had issues with widget/object placement in the editor? I'm trying to put a hype cup in one of my overlays, but it keeps defaulting to its original position the moment a part of it moves out of scene. Even if I keep it where it's supposed to be, save and close the editor, once I load the browser source or reopen the editor, it goes right back to where it was before. :\

You should be able to manually enter position, and then save, rather than clicking and dragging. Might be easier for cases where you want widgets slightly off canvas.

I was in here a few days ago with an issue that is still unresolved, so trying again.
If I make any changes to a specific overlay it will not save. I have tried different browsers and even different PCs now. I used to be able to save stuff on this overlay, I guess obviously, as that is how it was made.
When I click the 'Save' button I get no error, just the animation of the button being pressed. I also don't get the little grey box popping up in bottom right to let me know it is saving (though I do get the box when I add a variation or such).
I've also tried cloning the overlay and editing that one, but get the same issue. I'd rather not make it again from scratch as it has 15-20 variations for bits, 10+ for subs, etc.
I've also tested if it will save if I delete some of the current variations and not add a new one, but it still will not. (Sorry for wall of text, just didn't want to go through same steps as last time that did not work).

No, that's when I get an error about it being too large.
This is a fairly common problem with custom coded alerts that reference too many outside things.

Nerd or Die's custom coded alerts are often heavy, so you can't make too many variations with them.
There's currently no plan to increase a size allowance. You'll end up choking your stream that way.

Does anybody know why my host alert never seems to go off when somebody manually hosts be with 0 viewers? I have it set to 0 but still doesn't trigger the alert. Everything else seems to be working just fine

@idle fossil Due to changes to Twitch API, we have filtered out hosts and will only show these ones on your activity feed:
- All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
- Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline
Note: If you see "X channel has hosted you" with no viewers on the back, that is considered an offline host or a host with 0 viewers, we do not show these.

as far as i know now, it's not possible. you can either search for a gif that is a little bit longer or try to set a webm file as a alert (add it as video not image) because those should be able to loop

5) navigate to the Console tab

If you have a 3 minute long video/audio/image alert, the max duration of alerts is 60 seconds

The first 2 numbers that are set are for how long the animation of the widget entering the overlay will play and how long the exit animation will play
the first text delay is when the text will show up after the alert is triggered.
You will need to adjust the duration of the alert first
in order to get more seconds in the text appear delay slider.

Not currently. Sometimes it just goes by chat, but there's also a store item to join the queue. If it were possible to add to the store item, that would also work.

but you only need it for a short period of time, because when you hit affiliate on Twitch you can't stream to YT at the same time anymore

Hello. My StreamElements Alertbox has been working perfectly until I installed OBS.Live. It has not been displaying alerts when I attempt to play an alert. It shows on OBS and makes a sound, however on the Stream, It does not make any sounds. Please help.

Oh someone said i should elaborate.... so i play games on ipad and use apowermirror to mirror my game onto screen. however, the audio is transfered to my laptop instead of both, just only laptop. of course that causes offset and becomes very anoying, especially since the offset is not consistent. so i wanted to ask if anyone knows change the audio transmission thing, oe if i should change apps and what to do

but that person has to have been in your chat and spoken at least 1 time
in order for our bot to know they were there
if the bot doesn't know of their existance in your chat previously, it defaults to the sender

Hi, I have a problem with media share. I have to different scenes with 2 different sized media shares, but I get double the sound in both scenes. I have made a new overlay for each media share and not a duplicate. Is it possible to fix this?

You just need 1 overlay for the media share
add it as a browser source -> right click the browser source -> copy -> go to the other scene -> paste as reference
this will eliminate the double sound
assuming that you've actually made an overlay and have the media request widget on its own there

Hi, im experiencing issues regarding dropped frames in OBS Studio / Obs Live
After 1.5 years of streaming, i started getting dropped frames.
After updating everything regarding network i made my provider change the router and check everything.
It all seemed fine but now i keep getting dropped frames whilst my games keep running normal???
It might be smth small, but i just can't locate my issue anymore
Please help
