I've got a weird issue going on, for my store redemptions, the text between {User} and {Item} remains visible indefinitely I can't get it out of there. So it's always got a 'Redeemed' showing. My "Now Playing" widgets on overlays are now all stationary, rather than scrolling; is there a way to get those to scroll again? I have the "Text Scrolling" button turned on. When it's off, the entire text of the song is visible, but when set to scrolling it truncates it as if it were going to scroll but it stays stationary. I'm using the version that only shows the text, using the MediaRequest with YouTube.
Selecting the "Refresh my Browser" in the source properties on OBS seemed to fix it.

Do note that the OBS.Live import tool that imports SLOBS Scenes as overlays will fail if:
- Any asset is above 100mb
- Any asset that is copyrighted by SL

Hey guys, so I'm trying to set up a custom alert widget. My actual animation is roughly 5 seconds long, but my sound is longer than that. I don't want the alert animation to continue as the sound plays through but SE insists on it doing so. Can I fix this?

The alert duration can extend to the duration of the sound, so the only option is to cut the sound
I would suggest Audacity for that as I believe it can help cut down the sound duration

I really wish it didn't work that way, the alert aniamtion itself has to be a specific duration. I guess I'll just have to sort out new alert sounds

So I tested something. If you set an image and then a sound and have TTS enabled, alert duration set to 2-5 seconds, the image should go away with the text, but the sound and TTS will continue playing
a workaround is, if you can have the image and sound into 1 -> merge them in a .webm file(its a video file essentially)
The alert duration will force stop the video and sound coming from it and play the TTS right afterwards

Just an FYI - I've noticed that the Twitch follower issue may not actually be on the streamelements side. Since the problem started happening, I have not received any email's from twitch letting me know about new followers at all. I have to look directly at that creators dashboard activity feed to see any updates in real time.

hi so im having a problem with trying to stream with twitch and i dont know how to fix it. It was working fine earlier today but its not working anymore. I press start streaming and all the usual stats are showing up and what not and i assumed i had been streaming but i just so happen to check on my phone if i was and it wasnt showing up. My dashboard would pop up like normal but anytime i went to my channel, it would just show a past broadcast of what i thought was live and it even shows up on discord that im streaming but i cant be viewed and only past broadcasts are showing what i assume is supposed to be live

Hi guys, I am trying to upload a .webm file and it is importing with a black background. When I play the rendered/exported .mov file After Effects it is transparent, but when I convert it to a webm file, the background goes black. Does anyone know why? Yesterday I set up Ground Control with my Stream JWT Token an then I was able to enter the OAUTH for the Twitch account I use for a botname (legacy from Ankhbot) and it worked fine last night. I switch on this morning and GroundControl no longer has the "BotName" section in the Settings. What gwaaaan? :/

Hello, whoever is about - so I've just made a 3 part counter command for a guy for fun and whatnot, and we're wondering if we can make a command so instead of going '!iq+ Eagle Earned a few braincells, and his IQ is now ${count iq_level}' which works fine as a normal counter, would I be able to put a randomised number into there? I tried just adding random into the count, but I'm unsure of syntax or if that would even work with the way the counter is designed

ahh I screwed up and threw the counter in twice, but even so it's just outputting the api address, I met shelve it for now and just make it super simple

@slim nova s the !uptime command is giving a response, you are seen as online in our system. The offline in your dashboard is a visual bug.
@humble trout Has maybe nothing to do with the speedtest, as the connection from your to twitch may be having issues.

Hello, actually expecting a very weird issue, i'm trying to upgrade my stream quality to 1080p 60fps, but on my screen (right screen) the 720p 30fps option is not available, it goes directly to 480p 30fps to 720 60fps (wich is very demanding for people with bad internet)
the picture on the left screen is from another channel, and they have both 720p 30 fps AND 60 fps.
Anyone have a solution for me ? thank you 🙂
