I'm having difficulty importing watchtime via csv. I have a csv in this format: username,twitchID,currentPoints,alltimePoints,watchtime and have tried multiple times. It gives me a message 'Couldn't import points :/' yet the leaderboard updated the points. However all the watchtime commands ${user.time_online} return no value. And it is giving me a headache. I am trying to add timers to my stream but I have several that I usually use. When I tell the systems I want 5 mins per alert its still posting one every mineute. Hello everyone! I tried the import alerts option in Chrome for StreamLabs, and it imports, but none of the test functions pop up any alerts. I then added the browser source to OBS Studio, and still couldn't get alerts to pop up. If anyone has the time, I would greatly appreciate it 🙂

Click there & click the pencil at the bottom of the overlay icon to open the editor.
From there: Bottom left you'll see the layers -> Go to your alert widget -> Choose the one you want to edit -> Text Settings
Will be in the Advanced Settings where you can replay your alerts & change the text to get the position right 🙂

@noble nest custom bot login only works as long as one of our desktop apps are logged in as that custom bot. Due to Twitch API stream elements bot can only connect with a custom bot name if the Streamer is connecting.

I was told on twitter to come back here after mentioning the streamelements account in passing. So, I've been running into an issue with my alertbox where that, when I receive a raid, I get 2 notifications on stream. One for the host, and one for the raid. I also see them in ground control, but I'm fine with seeing both in ground control. I had to turn off hosts because I didn't want to get host alerts when I get a raid, but I still want to receive host alerts when there's an actual host.
I have no idea why both of these would kick off alerts >~< (I'm rushing off to work. I'll check back later)

I'm having a problem with banned words.
I have banned the word "salope", but when someone say "salopette" in the tchat, he gets banned.
How can I fix this ?

Basically, not without RegEx.
Basic entries will have the bot search an entire message for the word's presence, even as part of another word.
RegEx has the ability to specify that you're looking for the whole word only, and not a part of a word, but it takes a bit of learning, as it's a kind of language on its own.

Hello, I would like to know if it's possible to make contest's timer less than 30 minutes. Even if I use the default "5" minutes in the options the timer still starts with 30 minutes. I would like it actually to be only 1 minute but I can't. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance for the help!

Also, I noticed that the timer is adding 25 minutes to anything I add as the minutes to bet
So if I choose 1 minute the timer comes out as 26 minutes
Or if I choose 5 minutes to bet, it comes out as 30 minutes
I noticed that after the minutes I choose have passed the bot doesn't allow more bets. I think this is a visual issue, since it also shows at the overlay widget. It may be confusing for the viewers, they'll think this is the timer for them to bet :/

Hello, I am trying to update my public profile for my StreamElements. It currently lists an Instagram. I have tried to remove it in the past, as it had my personal page listed. However, whenever I try to remove it, it reported that it couldn't save my changes. I tested changing it from my private handle to this one, which did work. However, there is no instagram by that name.
Is there no way to remove a previously-applied social media from the public profile?

That function is having some issues. It doesn't like having an empty field where there was previously some data. As a "workaround" you can just put instagram.com without anything else.

What I've noticed, is when I enable both host and raid alerts, both go off for a raid and only the host goes off for the host. Unless this has changed within the past few months, that's my experience with the alert widget.

In IE or Edge it’s selectable but doesn’t always let the user select the entire code. - All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
- All auto host events with at least 1 viewer (only from a channel that just went offline)
Note: If you see "X channel has hosted you" with no viewers on the back, that is considered an offline host or a host with 0 viewers, we do not show these.

Yeah, your game and obs are fighting for resources to render. So when the game spikes with its resource needs, that's when OBS suffers. That's why it seems random.

Quick question, on stream elements there’s a subscriber widget you can place on your overlay. Whenever I gain a subscriber it updates automatically, whenever I lose one it stays stagnant and I have to update it personally on the website. Do you guys experience the same thing, are you forced to update your subscriber count personally ONLY when you lose subs in order to keep it up to date?

So, goals are not tied to your total. They're counters.
They just go up.
Widgets like "Total subscribers" are the ones that will tie into your actual aggregates from Twitch.

Yes. StreamElements alerts are triggered by the StreamElements tipping page. Streamlabs alerts are triggered by the Streamlabs donation page. There's no way to criss-cross them so they trigger our system or vice versa.

Hi! This does not really affect twitch, but I have a general question about alerts. I am setting up alert variations for follow alerts at the moment. One of the videos is in a different dimension compared to the others. Is it possible to change the alertbox (or the video dimension itself) for just one variation. It is maybe possible with the HTML edit function, but I think the code lines given are to basic for my knowledge. I have to add the image source myself I guess and then change the size? It's an additional bot role that you can use as an extra layer of access for certain bot commands. Such as if you only want some of your mods able to do something with your stream.

We had a minor issue ~10 hours ago with sub and cheer alerts, which was fixed as soon as we got the 1st report.
The issue might have also affected the hosts and raids as well.

@grave lance Due to changes to Twitch API, we have filtered out hosts and will only show these ones on your activity feed:
- All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
- All auto host events with at least 1 viewer (only from a channel that just went offline)
Note: If you see "X channel has hosted you" with no viewers on the back, that is considered an offline host or a host with 0 viewers, we do not show these.

Guys, I was streaming Remnant on Friday and the games was 'lagging' for my viewers, but for me was 100% clean, smooth, I saw on process, and my CPU was on 75% with OBS, I saw a lot of things on internet but don't saw anything to solve properly the thing, maybe you guys saw some people with the same problem? It seems to be something simple but I can't find with so many random tutorials on internet, btw I stream at 3500 bitrates, and I have 10mb of upload (don't know if matters)
