I'm using the loyalty system and trying media request. I set the cost to 15 and gave a test account 30. After requesting a song, all 30 points are gone. Ideas why this might be happening?

Once a user reaches a limit of songs, a request gives back "could not add song: No more free requests are allowed". That can be confusing in that a user may think it should cost nothing (including no loyalty points). Can that response be customized?

@zealous gate Normally we get the sub data from twitch. If they are not shown, there might be a problem on twtichs side. I recommend to try to delete the extension and readd it as a first step.

hey guys i got a small / big problem with streamelements may someone could help me?
yesterday i made a test stream. We tried to fix some issures with my OBS and my graka. everything worked fine but then he hosted my stream: NO alert. A friend of him followed my channel and again no alert. also when i watch the stats from Jul2019 i dont see the follow there. But on twitch is written down that he follwed my stream

All manual host events (0 hosts included and if filter set to 0)
All hosts coming from an online channel. If the hosting channel has been offline, we do not show it
All auto host events with at least 1 viewer
Note: An offline host is when you see "X channel has just hosted you" - with no viewer numbers on the back

You can also put the MediaRequest widget in its own overlay, add this overlay one time as browser source to one of your OBS scenes and then add it via add existing one to your other scenes.

Hi there 😃 There seems to be a problem on Giveaways. Last night I clicked Draw a Winner and it picked 3 when I only wanted 1. 2 of them were announced in chat. I have just seen the same thing happen on someone else's stream where he tried to get 1 winner. It selected 2 although only 1 appeared in chat. Is this a known bug ? Last night I thought maybe it was just me accidentally tripple clicking the button but having seen it on another stream, it looks more like a bug.

@viral copper Due to changes to Twitch API, we have filtered out hosts and will only show these ones on your activity feed:

All manual host events (0 hosts included and if filter set to 0)
All hosts coming from an online channel. If the hosting channel has been offline, we do not show it
All auto host events with at least 1 viewer
Note: An offline host is when you see "X channel has just hosted you" - with no viewer numbers on the back

But after the most recent line of physics-borders, the cup defaults to the upper-left corner and gets "stuck". Using the cup-displacement controls won't permit me to move the cup around.

The overlay source goes above the game source, that's why it's called an overlay

Use the little arrows in obs to move sources, or drag and drop them in the sources list

Update: I have started it as admin, the game capture is still yet to pick up the game. I've tried it on both rocket league and destiny and it hasn't worked. I've also tried swapping the mode of the game capture to be the specific games but both of them leave it black. I'm also running these games in fullscreen

All manual host events (0 hosts included and if filter set to 0)
All hosts coming from an online channel. If the hosting channel has been offline, we do not show it
All auto host events with at least 1 viewer
Note: An offline host is when you see "X channel has just hosted you" - with no viewer numbers on the back

@placid terrace I am asking a staff internally about your issue. But as already stated the custom bot name change should not have anything to do with your audio routing. This is most likely an OBS Studio issue. I am sorry you are experiencing these issues. And we are doing everything to help you with this. But as OBS.Live is only a plugin for OBS and does not change the audio routing of OBS Studio.

it won't cut the stream being live

that way you can turn that on, end the stream and restart OBS, then start streaming again without losing your "24 hour" streak

I switched back to streamlabs since streamelements kept missing events. Follows, etc just randomly wouldn't even show up in the feed while they did show up in twitches feed. Streamlabs isn't having this issue at all...but is really stripped down compared to this.

Now I'm just trying to use the KappaGen overlay, and same. It randomly works to show emotes on screen. Maybe 2 out of 7 times. I never have been able to figure out what's going on.

🔹 Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again with by connecting with Twitch.
🔹 On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select "Join" under bot settings. If it says "Part" select that and then select "Join" to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
🔹 Post your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

10 minutes of watchtime are given to those in chat when the loyalty points are handed out (every 10 minutes). Therefore, loyalty must be enabled for watchtime to work properly. There is no direct link between watchtime and all-time points. It can’t be calculated from the amount of all-time points a user has because subs may earn points at a faster rate and !bonus all command increases all-time points for users in chat at that time. Giving points to a single user does NOT affect all-time, only when giving to all in chat.

Make sure to ☑ “Shutdown source when not visible” for all browser sources (all OBS scenes). if i trigger an alert and listen in chrome/firefox it plays once, if i trigger and listen through OBS Live it plays the audio twice with like a 300ms delay

@obsidian dagger Double audio is always due to multiple alertboxes in some fashion, whether you have two alertboxes in an overlay, multiple overlays active (even just one without "Shutdown source when not visible" will cause problems), even just having your overlay open in your browser either in the editor or launched on its own tab will cause it.

Changing the overlay resolution in your account doesn't move and resize the widgets in the overlay.

You should keep the overlay at 1920x1080 and add it into OBS at 1920x1080 and fit it to your canvas.

#

If you're using an irregular aspect ratio (not 16:9) then you'll need to manually adjust the overlays yourself.

If the overlay is set to 1920x1080 in StreamElements and you set the browser source properties to 1920x1080 as well then the entire page will come through. If it's bigger than your canvas then you'll need to fit it to your canvas, usually with Ctrl+F.

Question, I just bought a web cam for my streaming. I had been streaming just fine with the game capture. I set up the web cam with my Overwatch stream, made an overlay, did a quick recording to test it all out, and now I have no in game sound. Mic, and video work with the game capture, but no sound from the game now. I tried to remove the game capture, then put it back in, but now the game capture is blocking my overlay and I can't get it back. Any suggestions?

Sounds like you just didn't order your sources correctly.

Think of it like Photoshop, if you've ever used it. The upper sources will sit on top of the lower sources.

Betting works as follows:
Viewers bet on the options you provide.
Betting closes, and you pick the winning option.
The points bet on losing options form a prize pool.
Viewers who bet on the correct option receive a percentage of that prize pool based on the points they bet in relation to other viewers who bet correctly.
Example: A viewer bet 1000 points out of the 2000 points bet on the correct option. That viewer will receive 50% of the prize pool. If 5000 points were bet on incorrect options, that viewer would gain 2500 points.

Yes, that's correct. The quote command itself can be used by anyone to call a quote. The add/remove variables are always restricted. This is expected behavior. In your commands list, the command doesn't have separate entries for the base command and the variable usage.

Make sure you are on the latest and greatest version of OBS.Live ( 19.5.27.394 )
exit OBS (make sure OBS is not running)
delete %appdata%\obs-studio\plugin_config\obs-browser\obs_profile_cookies
start OBS.Live
Settings -> Stream -> disconnect -> connect
