Hi. I have a 2PC setup. When using OBS Live, I am not getting any audio from my Mic.

I looked at teh settings and added Mic/Aux audio to Microphone Default. I have tested my connection in isolation to the mic via Mixer and I can hear myself, I have tested Discord on streaming PC with no issue and Gaming PC discord with no issues (via voice chat).

The redemption message when redeemed via chat cannot be changed. You can edit the redmeption message in the Modules section > Chat alerts > Redemptions.

Creating a custom command doesn't work because the response to the custom command is overridden by the store redemption response

You can just add a description to the store redemption itseld, to be seen on the stream store page. But I think you cannot make this when beeing redeemed. I think you can only mention the itemname.

Heyo, Currently in a stream where both nightbot and steamelements are posting the emote name rather than the emote itself. This is a command triggered by the emote - bots are both subbed, all spelling is correct. Is this a bot issue, twitch issue, or something weird on streamers end?

I have a question about SFX store redeems I am trying to set them up and test them offline (not live stream) and when I am in the overlay editors I can hear them but when I mute that its not coming through the overlay on my streaming program and in the overlay its grayed out as though its inactive is this because I am offline?

@lament blade As the StreamElements Bot should be a moderator in your channel and as mods canot time out other mods, your moderators can't timeout your bot. As you are higher in hierarchy you can timeout the bot, but it will loose its moderator status. The bot cannot time out the broadcaster, so you, as you have a higher rank, and it cannot tiomeout other moderators.

Yo! My host alerts are being a little weird, any host above 1 viewer comes through, but if it's just 1 it doesn't show up, however I have the minimum amount set to 0 to show all alerts. Am I missing something?

@jolly flame Due to changes to Twitch API, we have filtered out hosts and will only show these ones on your activity feed:

• All manual host events (0 hosts included and if filter set to 0)
• All hosts coming from an online channel. If the hosting channel has been offline, we do not show it
• All auto host events with at least 1 viewer
  Note: An offline host is when you see "X channel has just hosted you" - with no viewer numbers on the back

if there is nothing coming through on stream when playing a youtube video on your desktop it would indicate a routing issue to obs. maybe a quick restart of obs and maybe your scarlett box could clear it, if not you might have to speak to obs themselves as this is out of my knowledge zone.

i could hear the music coming through your headset as the mic picked it up, but obs may (is most likely) having an issue capturing it.

There is an alerts section you can choose from different alerts and the other overlays have also oftern alert boxes in theirselves, so you can copy the alertbox and add it to your own overlay and edit it if you want.

On your MR settings.

Random skipping of songs usually either means the song can't be played in your country or its not available anymore.

Yeah, the widget size on a vid just makes a bunch of blank space and doesn't actually stretch the vid to fit in the webcam frame shape. I'll have to see if there's a way to export it in my video editor as another res. That'd be a great tool to add. Loving the switch from Slobs to Elements, but there are still a good amount of pieces I've got to do inside of OBS to edit the resolution properly

So, my ground control app won't launch. When I try to launch it nothing happens. I can see Ground control in my task manager, but that's about it. Right now I have no control over my bot's name and no media request. Any tips? I've tried to re-install ground control, but that didn't do anything. If I try to launch Ground control multiple times, I get multiple instances of the program "running" in task manager.. Not sure what else I can try.

@latent granite Due to changes to Twitch API, we have filtered out hosts and will only show these ones on your activity feed:

• All manual host events (0 hosts included and if filter set to 0)
• All hosts coming from an online channel. If the hosting channel has been offline, we do not show it
• All auto host events with at least 1 viewer
  Note: An offline host is when you see "X channel has just hosted you" - with no viewer numbers on the back

Hmm, my overlay for my alerts doesn't play any sound when used outside of the editor.

I get the following message in the developer tools of chrome and alerts don't play anywhere except in the editor when I deactivate and reactivate the mute sound for editor button.

You cant really delete twitch vods with the JWT token we supply you.

That token is used for our own API endpoints.

Without access to the twitch account theres no way to login to the account with us as we log you in based on the logged in account. If you had multiole accounts we could have had them merged for better access between them.

1. On the dashboard ( https://streamelements.com/dashboard ) click on "Part Channel"
2. On the top right corner click on "Sign out"
3. Log back in with your twitch account
4. Click on Join Channel

Aah thats a bit wider resolution.

Do note that Twitch forces broadcasts to be 1920x1080(or 16:9 aspect ratio) resolution.

Meaning that your stuff might look squished a bit from the side.

So I spoke to someone previously about having alerts being played outloud with TTS when IRL streaming

I was told to get an android device and and have the companion app up but the app just dings when an alert happens and has no TTS currently

I don't do IRL streaming my self, but I have tested the companion mode with a lot of alert spamming with and without TTS

and the app does not produce sound what so ever.

When there is just 1 report of loyalty points not being given out, then the issue is local to those streamers you see and the solution is simpler then you might think, until that solution is proven not working.

As for the CSRF token - you must enable something specific in your browser

to fix that

Hey guys, I posted on the SE community board about my problem but thought I'd join here and ask too

Followers are not being tracked on StreamElements which results in no follower alert coming up, not appearing on the recent follower part of my overlay and not in the activity feed. Cheers, subs and hosts seem to be working though. I disconnected StreamElements from my Twitch on their Connections page and reconnected it then tested following my account from another account and it still didn't track it.

hey my widgets randomly disappeared from my obs application. is there a way i can get them back? (media request, alerts, and other stuff are missing only thing i got is twitch stats like the live thing and the viewer count and chat)

Do you see the StreamElements tab at the top of your OBS?

The StreamElements plug in is not running there

Try restarting OBS

Or open the OBS.Live shortcut

The followers not showing up is a known thing @olive dove we are working with Twitch on fixing it, but no ETA on when.
