You can make tokens splash other tokens out but emptying the cup just deletes all the tokens. The !addpoints command as you might expect by the name adds points to people.

So from what I understand from the bot response, it should show an alert if someone manually hosts, and I set it to 0

The host alert will show when you get hosted by an ONLINE channel which bring viewers. That means in chat you will see a system message from Twitch saying "X channel just hosted you with Y viewers".
If the viewer part is missing, the channel was OFFLINE when they hosted you.
We do not show that as an alert, because we are not getting the viewers from that channel.

When you diplicate an overlay and edit it then, the original overlay is not touched. Note that the overlay have two different urls and the last edited one is displayed in first place after saving.

For twitch prime, the user needs to have sharing enabled on https://www.twitch.tv/settings/prime. @terse hinge There is no chat notification for a gifted sub. But the person who was gifted the sub, gets a chat alert.
@torn crypt Twitch sends us the data once. So when you don't see it in the list, we can't display it.
To refresh the connection, please part the bot in your dashboard, log out of the StreamElements dashboard, llog back in and make the bot join your channel again.
@dreamy bobcat You can copy a widget from one overlay to another, by selecting the layers tab in the lower left in the overlay editor and select the layer. Then select the two papers with the red dot above the layer.

- Loyalty settings to your desire
- (Next step) Add contents (image and/or sound you want to play)
- "Redeeming this item shows an alert
- Redemable via chat
- Skip Requirements
- Get the item name/command from the 2nd creation page
- Go to commands page here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/bot/commands/custom
- Add command with desired name and have response for command as:
${redeem item_name_here} - Go to your overlays and edit the overlay you use.
- Click on "widgets" and add "Store redemptions" widget. Click save and you should be golden.
- Test your own command in chat and have OBS or editor open to hear sound

Could someone help me? 1) Since 2 days ago, OBS has been saying that my there is too much encoding and that I need to turn down my video settings / change encoding presets. You can part the bot in your dashboard, log out of the dashboard, log back in and invite the bot back to your channel. This should refresh the connection, to get notified when a new follow or event comes in.

so had an update patch into my stuff today, have not streamed in a few days. after the update obs was showing my beloved twitch stream info tab again!!! i was ecstatic, i thought, now i can update my game category, the title, and my go live notification through obs again instead of having to load a twitch webpage and having to go through all that just to change the game info for my stream. i was THRILLED, for about 3 seconds, once i hit the 'obs live' update button that popped up after, my wonderful tab went away again.
can anyone explain to me why if i dont use the stream elements version of obs, i have the tab that allows me to update my stream info without having to load a twitch page in a web browser, but when i go to 'obs live' its not there?

i can't monitor anything. i've gone into advanced properties and i'm still not hearing anything. for example i'm pushing a video intro at the end of my timer. no sound comes through even with monitor and output turned on.

OBS.Live is just a plugin for OBS Studio which adds for example the Media Request or the activity feet to your docks. The plugin does not touch your audio setup.

Is it just me? I'm diving in trying to create an overlay. I have the default alert set with left shark loaded. I modify it by taking out the shark and setting a custom font. I trigger an event, the event will play exactly once and then I have to refresh the entire page to be able to trigger it again. I can't help but think I'm missing something.

Figured it out. It was my HTML Autoplay blocking extension I use to keep sites from autoplaying videos. I turned it off and now it works.

Hello! I have a question if anyone knows.
I want to use an StreamElements overlay, but I want to change a FEW things about it. I duplicated the original, but when I apply some modifications to this copy and try to obtain a different overlay link, it just gives me the same link as the original one (as in if I modify the duplicate, both the original and the duplicate are affected). Is there any way to avoid this?

Hey, just curious if any Staff know a codec within Stream Elements to program a chat command to shut off alert box.
The reason why I ask is because a Streamer I mod for (averages 90ish viewers) had a dono come in while she was in the top 3 of pubg. Maybe a command like !soundsoff !soundson for Moderators to switch off and on during those intense situations

Running into a slight pickle, I have two "Animations" that play for my subscription alert, however the second one is stuck on the default shark dance animation when its clearly been changed in the settings and saved. Can anyone explain why this is happening? I don't have any variance set, they're both supposed to play at the same time with two seperate alerts setup?
@warm condor I believe the streamer can setup alerts / messages / donos to have to be approved by an editor / moderator first before they'll be shown on stream, just tell her to set that up on stream elements.

Google Chrome, I have OBS open at the same time, no sound comes through for it. I have two seperate sub alerts setup for OBS, one which is a mid-screen notification with text and the second one is a "Video" that overlays my camera and has sound.

Now my OBS won't stop using the music and as I pressed test a few times, the song is playing about 6 times endlessly through OBS preview. Just thought it was funny and should let someone know haha 😛

This is in the Dashboard. If it says "Join bot" That means it's not in your Twitch channel.
Or if you have it muted. Unmute it.

Either they do that manually or have a mod hide it from showing on stream. As I don't see the option to show on stream by request only. It can be added to the ideas board for people to upvote & may be a possible thing in the future!
