When you emulate an event and make sure to check the checkbox next to the emulation bell.

You can make sure and make the bot leave your channel in your dasboard, log out of StreamElements using in your dashboard, log back in and make the bot join your channel again.

4. start OBS.Live

Hello. I am using a new super theme, but it is not showing the alert when someone hosts my stream. All other alerts are working fine. Any help?

@clever viper Due to changes to Twitch API, we have filtered out hosts and will only show these ones on your activity feed:

• All manual host events (0 hosts included and if filter set to 0)
• All hosts coming from an online channel. If the hosting channel has been offline, we do not show it
• All auto host events with at least 1 viewer
  Note: An offline host is when you see "X channel has just hosted you" - with no viewer numbers on the back

@hardy crane In order for the bot to respond with a specific subscriber emote, it needs to be subbed to that channel. If its your emote, the bot needs to be gifted a sub to your channel.

For cheer alerts - check the variations of the alert.

For a while, I had duplicated command responses. I imported nightbot and so all my commands would be from 2 or 3 bots (streamlabs, nightbot, streamelements) so i disabed all those commands and now !points doesnt work for the roulette module

Then go into the text settings - main text -> advanced tab -> margin top -> set to 500

this way you can have more space for more characters

and can stretch the widget down without resizing the image.

My OBS layout doesn't save and I am required to manually log into my account every time I launch the software

Meaning I have to head into settings, disconnect account and connect it again in order to be logged in

Then I get most of my windows back but have to manually put them in place

And reenable some windows like Twitch Stats etc.

yes @strong lance its repeating because your computer sound is being captured, so by watching your stream, that sound is being re-transmitted to OBS, and loop occurs

You can try to make the bot leave your channel in your dashboard, log out of the dashboard, log back in and invite your bot back to your channel.

Any Staff here that can help with an alert issue? it can be lagged, and also not finish playing even though enough time is set in the overlay alert to play.
When you have a second I'd really appreciate it if you could have a quick look what the issue could be. File format is *.webm my stream from Yesterday at 39:08 shows a Live alert and how it just doesn't seem smooth, if you compare that to the overlay in dashboard you'll see what I mean.

You need to type it perfectly case sensitive, and you need to be using a chat that has FFZ active in it to see it yourself. FFZ emotes are a case of replacement. The plugin finds the specific emote text in the place it's looking and replaces the text with the emote. Anything on Twitch can technically use an FFZ emote, it's only a matter of typing it correctly and being able to see it.

This is only the second time I've ever seen this issue and the first time it both fixed itself and then happened again. I'm honestly not entirely sure what causes it, but it does seem to be some kind of local issue, and we've been able to confirm it happens on all forms of OBS on a given computer.

It's not strictly a StreamElements thing.

We're kinda wondering if it's something on Twitch's side but we haven't been able to confirm yet.

Have you tried reinstalling or repairing the SD software? It might just need to reintegrate and repairing or reinstalling will do that, as long as OBS is closed when doing so

Howdy, so ive setup a new scene for streaming, however, when testing alerts, they're repeating. Ive been told to click the "shutdown the source when not visible" option, this however causes a delay in the overlays to show up on both OBS and twitch, how can i fix this?

I all, I dont know if I can post this here, but when I was streaming R6, I would get 40-55 frames instead of 60 on low settings. In-game I would get 90-120 when streaming. On the bottom left of OBS it says Encoding is too high, I switched to x264 and the results were the same. Can I not stream this game or am I doing something wrong?

if not you can do a clean log

1. Restart OBS
2. Start your stream/recording for about 30 seconds. Make sure you replicate any issues as best you can, which means having any games/apps open and captured, etc.
3. Stop your stream/recording.
4. Select Help > Log Files > Upload Current Log File. Copy the URL and paste it here.
