Hey guys! I have an issue... Whenever i use Display capture, and whenever i open any game, it turns black. And whenever i close the game, it stays black.
The only way of me making it "work" again is if i Re-open the whole OBS but i wouldn't want to do that 24/7 esp mid stream, does anyone know what might be the issue?

There is no StreamElements OBS. OBS.Live is a plugin for OBS Studio.
That said, we don't alter display capture behavior. Some games don't play nice with display capture and need to use game or window capture.
But overall you're better off asking in OBS's Discord.

Streaming from a console doesn't allow you to use overlays. Consoles don't have the functionality.
You need to stream from a PC and get your console gameplay via capture card or remote play.

Previously (2017) it was possible to transfer statistics from the old nickname to the new nickname, or even to a new account (I had a situation when I received a ban. Here you helped me with this). Last year, I needed help with transferring data to a new nickname. I was told that because of the new system this is impossible. But, such a function will appear in a couple of months. A year has passed, I still need it. Therefore, the question is: Is it now possible to transfer (And it is better to combine) self statistics to a new nickname? If not through the site, then through your developer dashboard?

my question from earlier got lost in the shuffle.... i'm having a problem where a specific user cheers and the cheer alert doesn't get triggered. I haven't been able to find anything in my streamelement's dashboard that would be blocking his username. My Streamelements bot is not filtering chat at all. Is there any other place I can look to see why this one person's cheers are not triggering the cheer alert?

Please create the command using the template. After that, type !shoutout TWITCHNAME (TWITCHNAME has to be changed with your friends twitch name) in your twtich chat and the bot will answer with a shoutout message in your chat.
So you only need the one shoutout template to get a universal shoutout command for every twitchname you want to shoutout, using the procedure I described above to use the command in your twitch chat.

Mac does not currently support renaming the bot.

Anyone know why the SE overlays take so long to load? I have some of the super themes on a new scene collection & I have them all checked to not display when the scene isn't active, & everything runs smoothly once it's up, but the stinger only lasts 3 seconds & it takes easily double that sometimes for the overlay to pop up.

Super themes are full of video files(.webm) on them so they take a bit more to load, especially if they are a longer loop.

Only thing I know about SLOBS is - its a hard fork of OBS Studio
and some common things people say about SLOBS - thats it

it is not advisable. you are welcome to do so but if you're running into issues with wifi, it's likely that is the source as even good wifi is not particularly stable.

Please select StreamElemetns > Log out and log back in and try it again. If this doesn't help I think your overlay doesn't have an media request widget.
Either there is a created overlay in your overlay section on the website with the media request widget. Please delete the overlay with the media request in OBS and readd it.
Or you need to create a new overlay, add the media request widget to it and add this overlay to OBS.

@zenith widget I'm using the latest OBS live (not slobs). It seems to happen a bit randomly. Perhaps the first time I cut to the scene, then it's fine for a while, then if i cut to the scene later. It's so weird, because it never used to happen before I went in and edited my kappa scene back in Feb

Interesting. There are 2 things that come to mind:
- Clear the cache of the browser source that holds Kappagen ( right click the browser source -> properties -> down bellow -> clear/refresh cache)
- Have you updated your GPU drivers recently as well?
