We import platform specific things, so SL import imports their tips. Followers, subs, cheers are gathered from Twitch directly and should populate after few events of each type

Unfortunately there seems to be no way for now to create what you are asking for, as the variable will always get interpreted as a string,
You would always need to set the !go yourself after the !settitle command which gets your new title before it.

Hello, I am trying to use Ground Control to create a custom bot name, but when I enable it and create a custom name, it does not change it.

• StreamElements tipping page in the panels below the stream (!panels)
• Create a twitch account for the name you want to use
• Ground Control app must be running

Steps to enable custom name

1. Sign in to https://twitch.tv with the bot account
2. Install and run Ground Control (!gc for download)
3. Visit https://twitchapps.com/tmi/ and generate an oAUTH token
4. Copy/paste everything in the box to Ground Control oAuth settings and enter the name for the bot account
5. Restart Ground Control (custom name may take a few minutes to take effect)

Mac does not currently support renaming the bot.

You are on an oldversion of OBS, please update, also you are using an internal GPU, from what I can see in the log. This hardware is generally not powerful enough to be used for both gaming and running obs. Situations where only sources from e.g. cameras and capture cards are used might work.

G'day guys. I've recently switched over to StreamElements and I've run into a weird issue. SE won't fire the alert for being hosted. It has picked up previous hosts (when I wasn't using SE funnily enough) but, since I switched over, has missed two in two days. The host is not showing in the activity feed, but is announced in the chat. I have tested the alerts after making the overlay and they appear fine. I have been through and checked all the things I could think of, but haven't found a solution. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

@versed marsh Due to changes to Twitch API, we have filtered out hosts and will only show these ones on your activity feed:

• All manual host events (0 hosts included and if filter set to 0)
• All hosts coming from an online channel. If the hosting channel has been offline, we do not show it
• All auto host events with at least 1 viewer

That is cause when somoeone raids you, Twitch emits two events, one host event and a raid event. We just display the raid alert on stream, but both in the AF.

desktop audio is a standart thing that needs to be enabled so the stream can hear everything your PC doese

@gentle yoke if you set all your overlays to shutdown if not visible and have only one desktop audio source in OBS, and only one alertbox/store redemption box in your overlay there is no way to have a double audio

so please go back and check all the things

Hi, I went through all the steps to set up the custom bot name, but when I connect my bot account, it does not actually connect. It does not let me click "send a test message". When I go through "bot and tipping setup" it says it's complete.

This is ridiculous. I've spent hours trying to get stream elements to do the most basic things. I've disconnected and reconnected everything, uninstalled and reinstalled, and it still won't let me connect my bot.

• StreamElements tipping page in the panels below the stream (!panels)
• Create a twitch account for the name you want to use
• Ground Control app must be running

Steps to enable custom name

1. Sign in to https://twitch.tv with the bot account
2. Install and run Ground Control (!gc for download)
3. Visit https://twitchapps.com/tmi/ and generate an oAUTH token
4. Copy/paste everything in the box to Ground Control oAuth settings and enter the name for the bot account
5. Restart Ground Control (custom name may take a few minutes to take effect)

Mac does not currently support renaming the bot.

My streamelements store redemption sounds stopped working. I reinstanced the redemptions widget and re assigned all the sounds and they still don't work. Anything else I can try?

@woven orbit It looks like a colour animation, it pops up, goes from blue to red. It doesn't seem to be affected by position the higher it is. Looking at it for a bit you can see that. There might be a colour change CSS animation that you could potentially do, but it's something outside of my expertise

@lofty jetty the file that SLOBS uses to export overlays isn't the same as the file OBS reads to import them. My advice would be to just recreate your overlays in streamelements from scratch, and import your SLOBS alerts using the import tool in the streamelements page

Anyway. Trying to add my first Scene in OBS Studio 21.1.2. When I go to add my source (animated "Starting Soon" .mov file) I choose Media Source. It gives me the option to open up and choose the file, but after I select it, the screen remains black, even after looping.

@echo elk add the bot counter widget to your overlay and rename it to what you need (please keep the { } as this is the variable to show the counter)

then go to your chat commands and make a new custom command. set the user level to broadcaster so no one else can change it (unless you have mods that want to do it) and add the variable in the response ( ${count win} )

1. Make sure you are on the latest and greatest version of OBS.Live ( 19.3.24.375)
2. exit OBS (make sure OBS is not running)
3. delete %appdata%\obs-studio\plugin_config\obs-browser\obs_profile_cookies
4. start OBS.Live
5. Settings -> Stream -> disconnect -> connect

Afaik there is not. All the overlays are stored in the cloud. They are save and should be accessable in the website.

Overlays cannot be magically applied to console streams. Your console gameplay must be sent to your computer via capture card or remote play, and you should be streaming from your computer.

for example i had peak 10 viewers but no chat at all and in the email it said max of 7 viewers but 19 chatters

I have done that however there seems to be some sort of Times New Roman font instead of Futura which is what I chose on the Overlay Editor. I made sure I clicked save countless times as well but the font still does not reflect what I see online

I need some help please.
i have made a custom overlay and uploaded new giffs and sounds that play whenever someone follows/subs/hosts/tips and so on.
all are working fine except the sound file for the follow event.
the giff will play but the sound will not.
when i do the test follow button it works fine. But when i am live in stream it will never play the sound.
it is a short mp3 - 166kb 10 sec long.
why is this one not working all others are? its driving me nuts

I tested it and it appeared to work fine. Check that you haven't muted the browser source.

yeah i thought i'd delete it to redo it to see if it would work but guess its not.
but last night , viewers decided to gift a shit ton of subs and they said something about the emotes not popping up after a while so this morning i decided to go see if i could 'emulate ' the events and normally they show me the emotes in the overlay and my obs itself but it wasn't popping up so im not too sure if its still going through or not.

i also forgot to mention , the ' select emotes ' screen it automatically highlights my emotes to be used in the emote explosions but if i decide i didn't want one or two of them apart of it it literally takes it off of the 'select emotes' screen instead of showing it even if i haven't selected it.
