Not right now. If you had a moderator with admin access to your dashboard, they could send it to stream for you as needed, but otherwise it would be up to you at this point. Though, if you (or someone you know) is programatically inclined, our API is open for usage, so they could potentially set something up that could do that (I think, don't trust too far with this, lol)

the first one should fix your browser source problem. If it still doesn't work, disable hardware acceleration. As for the game source, if it doesn't work, use window source

@analog hawk the OBS.Live plugin adds only the abilityto play and show on stream the media request functionality. If you want to edit your settings, you would need to do this in the main site

Is there a way to setup a command to save text to a text file? I'm in the process of switching over from streamlabs & streamlabs obs and have a highlight command that saves the game, current uptime of the stream and date to a text file and not sure if that's possible here.

I want to make a sound effect redeemable by a command without having to accept the redemption in the store. If I add the store redemption widget it says "The alert settings apply only to items of type Stream perk that have Redeeming this item shows an alert enabled." but stream perks are for manually redeeming items. is there a way to make it automatic without redeeming?

For twitch prime, the user needs to have sharing enabled on https://www.twitch.tv/settings/prime. Updating OBS.Live doesn't update OBS. You should find a check for updates button in the help menu.

In which case yes, you could use the link Benno posted which would let you use only one timer with all your lines in one paste, and it would go through one post at a time every time the timer triggers with whatever condition you have set. Or, if you wanted a random line each time, just use the regular random version, but keep in mind that due to the virtue of 'randomness' it might end up selecting the same line like four times in a row lol

Go to https://thefyrewire.com/pog/instant-replay and have a read, then login with Twitch - keep in mind that if you sign in with your account, the clips will be generated under your name. If you want to avoid this, use an alt account, e.g. if you use a custom bot name with GroundControl, you can log in with that account

Scroll down and copypasta the customapi response into a command and make sure to add a cooldown, like 20-30 seconds or something (clips will always be the 30 seconds of stream so doesn't really make sense to use it a few seconds apart from each other). Making it sub and/or mod only is a good idea too

Were you using slobs before? Becausw slobs is a fork (its own version) of obs studio. What you are describing as an issue seems more related to obs studio then our plugin that just adds additional panels for obs studio. We do not touch any other settings or options from obs studio besides the browser source. @radiant ivy

I was using slobs before today, and saw Steeamlabs OBS-Live on reddit and figured id try it out. I had a generic scene with only the game, audio and camera working on OBS-Live. I then went to stream elements and added a overlay. With the overlay, i can not get the display or game capture to work
I added the browser source in OBS, and can see the overlay. I can add the camera source and see that. I can add the display cap and/or game cap, but neither will show up on the overlay

If you have game or display capture sources that are black, that means one of a few things. OBS is not using the same GPU as the display or game, OBS is not running as administrator, or something else is preventing OBS from hooking into the drivers/application, for example if you have SLOBS and OBS running it will cause a conflict.
and its entirely related to OBS Studio, not anything with our plugin, that is why their support is best for issues like this

if running as admin does not work, if you have a system with more than one GPU, that is probably the case, where OBS is not using the same GPU as the display/app. A log would confirm this

Thanks a lot Kite. i realize this may have been a OBS thing, but a little empathy goews a long way in support roles. A simple, "this is probably a OBS issue, but you may want to try this" was a much better approach than "And the issue is not related to our plugin". simply running as an admin fixed my issue.

Since we do not really provide OBS Studio support, not all of us can know all the potential fixes to all the issues people report. In this case, I didn't knew that just simply running as admin will work. I will note this for future reference, but we do focus our support mainly on our tools, features and anything related to OBS.Live. We sometimes go over the line and provide OBS Studio support only when we know or understand the issue.

The modules dont seem to be working for me. I cant turn off the commands, voteskip is stuck on enabled and apparently is controlled by modules and none of the modules say if theyre enabled or not

Is there a way to have a custom emote show up on an alert, say for the start of a raffle?
For example: the default command brings up the PogChamp emote, followed by the text. Any way to replace PogChamp with a custom emote?

You can edit the messges in the module settings. the bot hast to be your channel name via the custom bot featue or he has to be a subscriber to your channel to be able to post the emote, unless it is a global one.

For twitch prime, the user needs to have sharing enabled on https://www.twitch.tv/settings/prime. You can set filters to the actifity feed to hide these actions. Please check that your filters are set correctly.
We can just track when a person follows you. So we will show it in your Actifity Feed. When teh person unfollows, we don't get a notification, so the activity will stay in the AF.

Also, is there a way to edit quotes previously made? If I make 5 quotes, then remove quote 3, then add a quote, it adds quote 6 instead of falling back to the missing quote 3
So the only way I can find to correct an error or change an existing quote you added a while back is to manually remove every quote that came after it, fix the quote, and then add all the quotes you removed. I don't like having missing quotes in my list, it hurts my soul.

- Ground Control app must be running
Steps to enable custom name
- Sign in to https://twitch.tv with the bot account
- Install and run Ground Control (!gc for download)
- Visit https://twitchapps.com/tmi/ and generate an oAUTH token
- Copy/paste everything in the box to Ground Control oAuth settings and enter the name for the bot account
- Restart Ground Control (custom name may take a few minutes to take effect)
Mac does not currently support renaming the bot.

@dusk badger The end date is just a placeholder of sorts - its function is to more or less show until when you want to meet your goal - its not going to reset it.
If you want to reset your goal progress you cna do so manually from here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/session -> goals tab

I have a question, when streaming to twitch my stream itself does not look smooth and seems I am losing fps, I am running msi 970's in sli mode at 6000 bitrate. I have tried enabling and disabling the sli game capture mode and seems its a tiny bit better when enabled. Question is, should I use the 2nd gpu to stream in nvenc or my main.

Lower the bitrate - your GPU might not be able to handle it.

I thought lowering the bitrate would make nvenc look worse. I figured 9 series and above can handle those bitrate at ease
and it's mostly with games that are in sli, apex legends streams fine, so does siege, but games like for honor i notice the frame loss
and i know the cpu is fine, im using a ryzen 2700x

I mod my friends stream and just added the !redeem soundbites and there is echo when soundbites play. His browser sources are not unloaded on change because there is a delay when loading the scene otherwise. I guess is it possible to remove browser source loading lag?

- Create a twitch account for the name you want to use
- Ground Control app must be running
Steps to enable custom name
- Sign in to https://twitch.tv with the bot account
- Install and run Ground Control (!gc for download)
- Visit https://twitchapps.com/tmi/ and generate an oAUTH token
- Copy/paste everything in the box to Ground Control oAuth settings and enter the name for the bot account
- Restart Ground Control (custom name may take a few minutes to take effect)
Mac does not currently support renaming the bot.

How do I use the custom fonts inside of my overlay? Also how do I use thicker font styles in the overlay?

- Install the font on the streaming PC or choose a pre-installed windows font.
- In the overlay widget settings, select Text Settings
- Enable Custom Font
- Type the name of the font as it appears in the windows font directory (This is usually C:\Windows\Fonts)
Note: After installing fonts, the browser and OBS must be restarted for the font to appear.

obs keeps telling me my encoding is overloaded while trying to stream sea of thieves for a second time (first time went good 1080p 60fps) now it wont even let me stream 720p 60fps, Windows 10, Nvidia & OBS are up to date. did not change settings in game or in obs. I'm pretty sure that the log you posted was already streaming at 1280x720. Also resolution/downscale does not really impact Hardware Encoding (NVENC), more so impacts Software Encoding (x264)

Usually limiting your in-game FPS resolves this problem. Or at least it has for me many times. Your problem is not related to StreamElements so i'd rather go ask on OBS forum, they have a super good bot that reads your logs and detects your problems
