Having the same matching resolution as the overlay helps most widgets

resolution greatly affects the chat widget, but most likely you had to clear your cache on your browser source for the alert.

Changing resolution actually shuts down the browser source and clears it cache if you had the "shutdown when inactive" ticked.

I’m about to set PayPal on stream elements I have everything they way I want it the overlay appear on twitch so I guess the question will I receive the notification like when people tip when I’m in game

If the tip is made through our system and your account has no issues on paypal side the alert set up in the overlay will be triggered.
You can emulate a test alert to test this.

Hello! I'm looking at potentially moving my alerts / bots system over to stream elements but I would like to know if it is possible to add and remove loyalty points via a command and also if it's possible to read a random line from a text file.

I have a few customised commands that remove different amount of points depending on the result and the result is randomly chosen from a a text document.

@echo sable it is not possible to use a text file to choose an answer of the bot, but yes, you can add and remove loyalty points via a command

you can also choose a randomiser, that chooses between different parts of the command. 1 command i limited to 500 characters though, so i dont know if that would be enough for you to work with

A randomizer might be able to do the trick. It's a simple slots game but has customisable outputs determined via the text document. Are the variable used documented anywhere? I took a look at the website but couldn't see anything points related.

you can use !bonus username +/-100 or !setpoints username 3570 for example. the bot itself cant be triggered by its own messages to give out points, so you would have to still give out/substract points manually

@bold marlin if your users connect their twitch to discord and you, as a streamer, do the same, you can automatically have them get a specified role for subscribers.

this way they can use your sub emotes in discord too and lose access to them if they are no longer subbed.

Not all at once in an easy import kind of way. Their scene export uses their own file extension, to make sure it can only be used with their system.

All your graphics and assets will need to be uploaded into our overlay editor and arranged as needed.

Game audio not coming through is an OBS issue, not a StreamElements issue. You will need to ask there. OBS is supported by volunteers, not paid staff, so you may need to wait a little, but they will answer.

On PC A I use voicemeeter banana to send audio to Elgato. The audio is synced but not with my webcam. I have been messing around with the delay filter but I just can’t find the correct mms. Mods on the other hand - yes they need to refresh to get current changed settings, changed by the broadcaster - we are aware of this and hopefully in the future we can update MR on the dashboard to what we have in OBS.Live currently - the more updated version.

@main helm If the package comes with custom coding then it should also come with instructions for using with StreamElements. If it doesn't, there's a decent chance it wasn't made to work with our system. If there's no coding, then you just upload the artwork and place as desired.

Hi so I streamed fine for a couple months then I went to stream and it was super laggy, dropping frames constantly and was so laggy it would literally stay on one frame for multiple seconds. I increased my fps in game while streaming but only by like 30, so I don’t think that’s why. Also it keeps saying that an administrator has blocked me from running the app. I know how to fix that but I don’t want to leave the setting off. I’m not sure what else could cause the frame drop. I lowered my bitrate, tried all different things and did the optimized setting and nothing worked. Then instead of skipping frames it went to not fullscreen and it was like 60p

If it's delayed it's highly likely you've got a Streamlabs browser source in one of your scenes somewhere, theirs takes longer.

Question! I'm working on making an overlay and while working on my alert box, I have one specific alert that will not update. It's stuck on the image and sound the overlay came with (I'm tweaking one instead of building from scratch). All other alerts changed and updated properly, but specifically the Subscriber alert will not update. Even when refreshing the page and saving and launching and setting and resetting the alert will it fix, and it doesn't show up correctly in my OBS either. It just is stuck on the stock. Thoughts?
