@upper steeple So it is known that replying a gifted sub from the activity feed will trigger a sub alert and then the actual gifted alert.
But also the activity feed doesn't say "Person has gifted 5 subs" rather it will list everyone that got gifted.

Hello. Quick question. I use OBS live with Media Request. Every time I start obs media request says Take a Tour and when I click it, it pops out of where I have it anchored in OBS. Is there a way to keep it anchored and not have the tour show up.

Does anyone have any idea how to shut down a stream when your not in front of the computer thats broadcasting it... I got to work today and starting getting texts saying my stream was live.. checked it and its just a black screen. Never touched my computer this morning and it went live like an hour before i got to work supposedly. I sent twitch support an email to ask. I reset my stream key, I tried raiding/hosting to end it. i tried to download OBS from my work computer to like try to trick the system and start a new stream from work just so i could end it but none of those worked... any ideas? To add to this i do not have any remote desktop app connected to the PC streaming right now.. so i cant access it in any way currently

If changing your stream key did not kill the stream, there is really nothing that you can do without having remote access to the machine to stop the stream

You can try to open the overlay in a incognito tab in Google chrome and test a cheer alert
See if that works without trouble
If not Pause your anti virus and try again in the incognito tab

I'm not to sure with import alerts as I've never done one. But there should be some sort of alert box widget in your overlay (or 2 if one of them is imported). Find out which one is which and then delete the one you dont want

Well, "falling emotes" sounds like the Kappagen widget for the overlay editor, loyalty is set up in the Loyalty settings section of your account, and personalized bot, do you mean renaming?

You made your Kappagen widget too big in the editor, so chances are the emotes are being rendered outside of the overlay boundaries. Either resize it to fit the overlay size or enable "use the entire screen for emotes."

I've updated to the latest SE/OBS. My bot was working before. Now I can open Ground Control and click test, everything seems ok. Even though the bot does not show up in the channel, it still sent a test message. Even if I log into the bot account and join my channel it still does not accept any commands. Not sure what to try here. I've parted and joined a few times but that doesn't appear to work either. Any suggestions?
ok, update. If I open Ground Control I can run a command, but it appears in the chat from both my streamer account and the bot account. If I close GC and run a command it gives nothing.

If your stream key is not allowing you to stream to Twitch, that is an OBS Studio issue, not a StreamElements issue, and you will need to ask your question there, not here.
The most we can recommend here is making sure you entered your stream key correctly.

We're aware of this issue and are looking into it. The most you can try is to log out and in of StreamElements, but if that doesn't work, there's nothing else you can do personally. The streamer can try to do the same thing, but again, no guarantee.

Forgive me if this option is already present, I just made the switch yesterday to your service and I’m already impressed. Is there, or will there be, a way to add custom events for when mods/subs/vips enter my channel chat, to be able to add a custom sound for their entrance and custom text? When I was using SL Chatbot, I could have a sound play when they first enter during a stream and also a sound that my subs got to choose. Did this as an additional sub perk for them. I'd suggest trying the following to begin with: Click on Part Channel on the dashboard, click on Sign Out, sign back in and then click on Join Channel on the dashboard
I've also done something on our side in the admin panel which reconnects your account to Twitch's webhooks (sorry if this doesn't mean anything to you)

It could be that the authorisation between your account and your Twitch channel was no longer valid, which the instructions I gave revalidates. Or it could have been that your account wasn't getting the events from Twitch's webhooks anymore so that's why I also resubscribed them on our end

That will be editing the settings for the bot. Such as Commands on the bottom left of the Streamelements dashboard -> Click the Pencil icon for each command -> Advanced Settings.
Then this would be seen.
Otherwise the bot is just not in your channel. Also can you check if you muted the bot by chance?

For me it worked, after I saved the overlay, closed the overlay and left the overlay editor and went back to edit the overlay.

I tried logging out and going back in, and tried deleting the commands and making them again still doesn't work ;-;. I did recently change my twitch name though but I don't know if doing that has anything to do with the chat commands not working.

Why won't Elements allow someone to delete their account? I've been trying for over an hour and there is no info on how to do it and there are no explanations to errors. I keep getting invalid username and I'm 100% sure that I know my Twitch username and it clearly shows on the page my twitch username. This make no sense. And I think its also the same for the onscreen alert afaik - we don't get the info via the API alert on the total month subbed

Hi i'm new to streamelements. I just installed some scenes from your website the Apex 'Spitfire' animated scenes and I'm having a problem with them.
The problem is that every time I try to switch between separate scenes, a black screen pops up followed by a delay of 5-10 seconds and then the scene finally loads after that period.
What can I do in order to fix this massive scene delay?

You are on a non-standard resolution as far as I can tell
Also I would not recommend streaming from a Laptop if its on a resolution like that. I can only assume its not meant for gaming and its not a high spec laptop.

1280x800 is common for a low end laptop, but its 16:10 and twitch will force 16:9, that is why our overlays are all standard 16:9

basically you need the canvas set to 1280x720 if you dont want letter boxing
but if it is a lower end laptop, probably wont work too well for streaming

Best stream settings for apex legends? Not partnered on twitch just affiliated. I tried streaming 720p60 4500 bitrate and it had some choppy moments. FPS drop on OBS

@cloud kindle Since Apex Legends doesn't have optimized GPU drivers yet, it tends to take up all your GPU resources, leaving nothing for OBS. If you're having OBS performance issues, you'll likely need to limit the game somehow. The easiest way to do this is to enable Vsync in the game, or use a frame limiter. You can limit the game to 60fps by adding +fps_max 60 to the game's launch properties in Origin.

This means that you have "shutdown when inactive" on, on every scene+browser source that holds the overlays.
When you switch to anotther scene the previous browser source shuts down

Encountered another problem. when I go into "chat commands" and try to enable !songrequest it says "controlled by module settigs". I go into the "Modules" tab and I find nothing about songrequest?

You can set up who is excluded by these limitations. I think the broadcaster is always excluded from these limitations.
