I would suggest to maybe use the OBS.Live MR and see if the volume issue persists there.
The MR on OBS.Live is more up-to-date and we do plan eventually to updating the dashboard one to the latest version we have developed, but no ETA on it.
We are aware that people might have issues with the Dashboard MR, but this volume difference between backup playlist and requested songs is a first report.

been struggling with this for a few days now and so far no one has been able to help:
any tricks to getting Ground Control to recognize that my channel should be able to rename its bot until OBS releases its current beta as a main release and OBS.live gets updated to be compatible with it? I've uninstalled, reinstalled, logged out and in again, streamed with all of the qualifying factors running, and nothing trips the Ground Control to let me rename the bot again.

I don't know what you've tried so far or what you've been suggested to do.
Recreating the alert box is the safest and probably fastest thing to do, especially if its just a premade overlay
because you can make the theme, just try to use the theme as is, if its working fine
then remove the problematic alert widget from your own overlay
go back to the newest overlay -> click on the alert widget-> on the bottom left where it says "layers" there is a copy button(2 white papers with a red dot) -> copy alert widget to your edited overlay.
other things i'm thinking is, clear cache of all your browser sources, but that might not work
as i've never seen such a report before.

wanted to follow up for anyone who is setting up custom bot name: it used to look for any SE tip link in your panels to qualify you for bot name. you now need to use a dedicated image panel linked to your tip page separately to get the bot name section to show up in Ground Control. that was my issue getting the new PC set up for renaming the bot.

@worthy crest I’m going to try that again today too. Did it twice yesterday with no luck. I even tried replacing the widgets on the overlay but it’s purely an issue with the activity/event being registered by Stream Elements

@meager owl im guessing you meant "protect from chargeback"? if thats the case, best leave it for a week before withdrawing it, just in case
@ripe moth i would say there may be some extensions in chrome that is stopping it. as you said you tried explorer also it might be best to make sure your flash player is up to date. also, in chrome, right click on the widget and click inspect, see if there are any warnings that come up
@cloud mica make sure you game capture settings are correct. also, if you can, upload a log file

Greetings dear people, I've just joined this awesome server and a friend of mine recommended me this tool and I like it so far, I've been using streamlabs for commands, sound files and timer, and player.me for the overlay and alerts and I'd need some help with exporting and importing the settings, if someone can DM me I'd appreciate it a lot because I don't want to spam this channel, I'm having problems with exporting the loyalty points for example, and I'd love to use the overlay I have from player.me so maybe there's a way to export that too? I didn't see any theme/overlay here that's close to mine and I'd like to keep mine for the moment, thanks in advance

hi Morhen, for the first part, you would need both the streamlabs and streamelements webpages open and logged in (make sure there are no extensions in chrome that can block content). in the SE dashboard you can then use the import feature.
as for the player.me there isnt really anything that can be done about that. im in the same boat : ) there are some work arounds i can help you with for the time being if you dont find an SE overlay you like

I used everything I could here, but streamlabs doesn't export a loyalty point list in CSV or even in XLSX right and I'd really need that, I can't do it manually it would take a lot, I know that this isn't related to your tool but maybe you have a workaround, also I'd love to hear the solution you have for the overlay

Loyalty points don't transfer with the tool @jade remnant . @wanton mirage Streamlabs does this intentionally and we have no work around unless you can get the data into a name,points style csv.
@late heron if you are using our overlays, they are saved on our site. If you are talking about local files, you would need to export them in obs.

So basically just using stating stuff from player.me and the dynamic stuff from SE, oke fair enough, I wanted to do that at least for the alerts, I only have a goal and a event list that's dynamic so it's not much work, thank you

Well, I preffered to have everything in one place but it's not possible right now as I see it, at least it will be on two places, overlay from player.me and the rest from SE, I'm more than content with this

Besides the CSV thing I'd need help with a big bug...this can be problematic and I'm not sure what causes it, after I finished setting the custom name for the bot, whenever I use a command the bot responds not once, but 14 times the same response

Your host chat alert module has empty fields
remove those 2 alert variables or fill them with something (number on left - test on right) and you should be fine

I don't think I'm saying the right thing to get the right answer. !enter just prompts the bot to say theres a giveaway going on, and i still have to type !ticket to buy a ticket for it
I've seen other Streamelement users tell the chat to type !whatever and they're entered into a draw that they can pick a winner from

The command's description is true, but I don't think you as the broadcaster can enter it.

Good evening, here since 2 days I have a problem with one of my Overlays. Let me explain I create an overlays "kappa" that activates when someone puts an emote on the chat or for a sub alert. The emotes must appear on the live but when the sub alert is no longer "emotesplosion" that is displayed. If anyone can help me thank you and have a good evening

I'm going to stream straight off of my PS4, I have my overlays setup in the dashboard in StreamElements. I'm just wondering does it start automatically when I hit broadcast on my PS4?

It does not.
Consoles dont' support Overlays.
You'll need a PC compatible of streaming with/without a Capture Card to use Overlays.
@cloud sequoia Have you tried deleting the Kappagen overlay you have now & trying another one, save it & open the overlay editor to test it?

You can still use the Chat Alert system streaming directly from console. So your Chat alerts show.
As well can use the Modules / Loyalty System.

Is anyone of you having issues to activate the widget by @untold crest - called "Chat Poll"? For the light of me, it will not function in a dedicated overlay only using that widget. Nor as 'copied widget' in an pre-existing overlay. Am I missing a few steps, or must I setup additional commands before the widget is useable?

You need to reload overlays from activity feed sometimes as connection to twitch chat listener might be interrupted and reload fixes that
Reload will reinitialise that

@untold crest - Alright, I'm making some progress. After the suggested StreamElements session reset, in the "overlay editor" the poll does show up. But on the stream, it is not shown despite "Live" being toggled. Is that as intended?

Try to set shutdown source when not visible and disable then tenable visibility of that overlay as it should be displayed in obs
Also. Do you use slobs? As we experienced find problems between slobs and stream elements overlays

I am currently running only the OBS Studio, with the overlay as scene/browser source and "shutdown source when not visible" enabled

It was in fact a combination for me.
- Restart OBS Studio
- reload the overlay link, enable and disable hidden mode. Toggled that twice.
- In StreamElements, reset session data once.
- End the stream, re-start the stream.
- ???
- Profit, it shows on-stream, and in OBS Studio, and in StreamElements Overlay-Editor

Well, seeing that my stream has "no session data" it won't affect me. But I am testing it on my-end for the streamer who's overlay and channel I moderate. And we've been experimenting with Muxy Overlay for its Poll-System, which was easily manipulated.
When I saw your widget, I was and currently am very impressed.
I'm very glad how this is working out, just need to find out if I can 'hide' a portion of the blue-blackdrop entirely to show the streams-background
