Be careful when you reset a session if the streamer is live.
Any widgets that depend on current session data will be affected by doing that.
Regardless, resetting a session might not fix the issue as its not related to the webhooks i resubbed a few minutes ago.

I have putted in a session follower count in one of the overlays I have made. and then I got the text, daily follower goal. and then now it stands "daily follower goal /10" but before the "/" it should be a 0

I can confirm that. Simplest thing to do is -> Activity feed on the left menu -> widget data on the right -> session data -> save changes -> that should force show the 0 in the follower goal.

Hello I'm new to StreamElements, Discord and streaming all together. I've got OBS live open and have managed to add 5 overlays to my sources and simply want to test it with a live stream from the OBS. When i go to "Start Streaming" I recieve a "Invalid Path or Connection URL" error code. How can I fix this?

Nope. That's straight up wrong. SLOBS is bloated with stuff that you don't need all the time and they use electron for their GUI to embed their website in OBS. This costs a heck ton of CPU power. They also claim that the picture quality is better. That's also wrong. They use the normal OBS Studio code as a base for SLOBS. (I'm an official OBS Staff btw.)

i had a very bad experance with another software durring a give away were the software updated durring the give away and crashed so now i am ussing your giveaway system now, works great. there is only one question was it intentional not to be able to set a time limit. Either way this does not bother me it does help pick up stragglers who were nto paying attion and found out at the last minut there was a give away

i just came back for a question and noticed you post after i figured it out
may i post an image that may help allot of ppl I got gc to work through my vmb working great now
it was playing throught desk top and I re routed it in the windows audio application settings
and becuase I use my strream deck with obs I can turn off and on the music, I did want to now if there is a way to get my stream deck to skip a song in ground control

If I post the command in a chat I follow it gives me the following. Depending on how log I am following the twitch channel. If I would have followed the channel over one year, it would say that 1 year X months....
So the command internally gets the length and displays it in a proper format for the given user whoever triggered this command.
I don't know if there is a variable for the followtime (years/months) to create a custom command, but I think there is not.
So for whoever inputs this command, the system will give out the time just for this user. So if any other user triggers it, he will be given his own time following the channel.

Maybe: you can also use Ground Control to control your music. And in there I think you can setup a key on your keyboard to pause etc. And I think in StreamDeck you can set an action which "triggers" the pressing of that key. (https://streamelements.com/groundcontrol)

Hello I have a technical issue with Streamelements. I have enabled some of the modules for my Twitch chat but for some reason the Roulette Module will remain disabled no matter what. It says it's enabled in modules but when I go to commands it's disabled saying 'controlled by module settings'

Hello @jade remnant sadly none of these solutions worked. Incognito didn't work and even refreshing my cache multiple times (even on the Streamelements page) didn't seem to do anything. It's unfortunate because I can disable and enable all the other modules like 8ball and Bingo was ease but roulette wants to remain disabled

For me the following worked although I think I break the sync between the module and the command. So I would recommend like a staff to test it first!
I enabled the module.
Then my command was still disabled. I set the user level of the command to "moderator". Then I could activate the command. And after setting the user level down to "everyone" again it still is enabled. After that I could use the command in chat.
But as I said, I somehow break the sync connection between the module and the command. So please use this with care as I don't know how to fix the sync connection. Because I can now disable the module, but my command is listed as active. But it doesn't respond in chat.

Hi ... i installed obs.live today together with streamelements and i am really glad i found this ... however i ran into a problem trying to rename the streamelements bot name to a custom name using ground control ... i used my twitch oauth token and now the bot acts with my name ... switching custom bot name off in ground control does not help

For me there is autoFill even without the @ , I just tye the beginnig letters of the username in twitch chat and hit TAB and the name appears to choose. I don't use any extension for twitch chat as BTTV or so.

If you hear the alert, but dont see it in OBS, most common causes are its behind another layer, you dont have the source in the current scene, but its active in another, or you have not added the overlay at the correct resolution causing the alert to not be visible

I'm trying to add a widget / donation goal to more than one overlay
I added one I made to an overlay but don't know how to add the same one to a differnt overlay.
any advise?

Select it and click the duplicate button in the bottom left, with the red dot. The duplicates will not be connected, so you will need to modify them in each overlay separately in the future.

But at any point you need to change your goal, you'll need to change the goal on all of them. Not just one.

All settings, like goal, colors, format, etc. are individually handled by each widget and editing one does not edit them all.

Goal progress is controlled at that link I gave you. It'll count things no matter what. It's manually editable so you can set the progress to whatever you want.

You don't integrate them, you just import your Nightbot settings into StreamElements, which is done with the import menu in the top right.

In the New Overlay section, does Overlay Resolution refer to the resolution you stream out at? My base resolution is 1080, but I stream at 720, so should I enter 1080p or 720p in this box?
