Is it possible to use overlays from OBS into console without connecting my console to my laptop? I tried connecting through PS4 remote play, using that as a game capture source (worked fine) but when I input an overlay as a browser source with the 1920/1080 dimensions, it doesn’t fit properly. What am I doing wrong? Also, even if I tweak the dimensions in OBS to fit only roughly half of the overlay will show up and is enlarged.

@hidden finch If it was recent, you need to wait for them to share their resub/twitch prime sub in chat for it to update with recent information. Twitch doesn't send everything all at once through their API. Give it a month and everything should be up to date.

Nono, I've got someone in my chat that has a 1 year sub badge (so has subbed atleast 12 times) but his name doesn't even appear in the learderboard. There's others that have similar problems @strong kernel

Right. If they have not resubbed since you added the leaderboard, they will not appear.

Twitch isn't like, "hey, thanks for connecting, here's literally everything." Wish they were, but they're not.

Once they resub again, it'll be correct.

We can only pull it by the shared messages in your chat.

They don't provide an easy way to export those.

Not really sure what you mean exactly, do you have something to call that will return the data that you want? if so, you can set a custom command to respond as a whisper, but you still need to type the command in chat to trigger it

That is a variable, sorry I was not aware we had something like that, you would use that in a custom command, and you can set the command response to whisper, but again, you will have to type the command in chat to trigger it, no way around that

Well, we can't really support Streamlabs OBS as it's made by another company. If it works fine in the browser but you're having trouble adding it into their OBS, and you've ensured all the browser source settings are set up correctly, there's not much else we can do there. Of course, we recommend you use OBS Studio with our plugin, OBS.Live, instead.

@hushed summit for chat do you mean to see chat in obs/on overlay or just on your pc? if just on pc you can use the twitch chat pop out (twitch.tv/popout/twitch_name/chat). to see notifications you can enable features on the SE bot under the modules section called "chat alerts", this will put follows/subs in your chat. you can also add alert widgets into your overlay to pop up on screen

1. the editor is a bit old, and there are big plans for a very nice renovation on it.
2. The image on the alerts scale to the size of the wire frame.
3. There is a Position, Size, and Style settings menu you can use to position it to the pixel, or use it to remember last locations.

hey guys, lately the performance of obs.live just screws my stream. I'm not sure what to do. sometimes I boot up and stream fine and others it just dies. The dropped frames percentage goes up and then the KB/s goes down. Couple of things that have helped: making sure windows is updated - when I haven't completed a windows update thats pending it just hoses itself. One time it was because I hadn't completed the tipping setup. Now its hosing itself again but I'm not sure why. Is there a checklist for performance issues?

trying to make multiple variations changing audio but using the default bit animation because i like the default... but when i make a new variation it defaults to the left shark animation. alternatively to duplicating a variation, a source for the default bit animations would be equally useful for this specific issue.

i know video volume control is turned down, but thats fine because the sound isnt played through the video its played through the alert sound

Using a 2nd test account to follow yourself will not (shouldn't) work because you are on the same IP so twitch won't actually trigger it through the API. (tbh I don't know how official this is but everytime I have tested it , it does not operate the same and doesn't trigger in the api even though it shows it count as a follow)

The test alerts just send a static string so it should pretty much always work unless we screw something up on the server.
Assuming your twitch name is the same as your reddit account, I logged into it and my follow showed up on your alert box.
Since it works for me and not you that would mean there is an issue occurring between you and the server in some way.
Usually the way this happens is by having a bunch of sources loading it and then it disconnecting from the socket and not getting reconnected. Usually the way to correct this is to:
1.Remove every possible Streamlabs source (any alertbox,eventlist,etc) and any webpage or app.
2.Wait about 10 minutes.
3.Go to streamlabs and log out and then log back in.
4.Go to the alert page and launch your alert box and run a test.
5.Re-add your sources to your streaming software.

If that does not work please copy your alert link and add ?worker=0 to the end of it and paste it into your browser. Then press CTRL+Shift+i and click the Console tab and the Network tab and screenshot both of them. i just checked the vod... i'm not certain it's a cache issue.

the 10 month resub at ~13m on the vod didn't even trigger the correct variation. it hit the default subscriber text.

It was used to verify the name matched with the account used for the OAuth, but now I dont think it really does anything. Ground Control is planned for a major update. When that is done the rename process will probably be like it is in OBS.Live, where you just login with that account instead of using OAuth

Hey - having issues going live on twitch. stream elements obs says im live - but on twitch it showes error 2000. When i try to go live from my phone on twitch using their go live function, it streams just fine.

I can see other people streams and interact with chat on twitch, but when i go live on obs it doesnt show my stream or say im live on twitch, and other streamers cant see me live either

1.) Watch your language.
2.) Error 2000 is indeed a twitch error.
3.) SE / OBS.Live doesn't change anything with OBS that could cause that error
4.) Vanilla OBS can't cause this error either (I'm OBS Supporter)
