If you are going down the road of separating your overlay into multiple pieces, I would also put kappagen in its own overlay, so it can be set to be shutdown when not visible. If you have multiple scenes with multiple active kappagen sources, it will increase the CPU load for each active kappagen widget

Steps to enable custom name

1. Sign in to https://twitch.tv with the bot account
2. Install and run Ground Control (!gc for download)
3. Visit https://twitchapps.com/tmi/ and generate an oAUTH token
4. Copy/paste everything in the box to Ground Control oAuth settings and enter the name for the bot account
5. Restart Ground Control (custom name may take a few minutes to take effect)

Mac does not currently support renaming the bot.

@zenith widget you can set banned/blacklisted words right. There are some words that may sounds like certain offensive words but it's not. and it may cause unnecessary timeout people.

for example, cockroach. If set banned/blacklisted word is c*ck. typing cockroach in chat will trigger the spam filter.

There are advanced ways to filter out banned words with REGEX option on the side of the word, but i'm not sure how to set it up at the moment.

Ok so I went into your blue electric overlay

you have around 6-7 alert boxes added to it

from copying over.

You don't see the alert box copied over, due to your overlay being a smaller resolution then the default resolution we normally place on pre-made overlays

which is 1920x1080

I will remove most overlays and make one of the alerts visible

Basically what it comes down to, is you need to avoid lumping bits in with money in a way that it could be labeled as money, and not bits, so you avoid this Bits are digital content intended to be purchased and consumed on Twitch, and do not serve as a currency. So the bar that KeiZar is referring to would work, as you are not assigning any real value to the bits

But as soon as a value is assigned, example your goal is $100 and bits are counted towards that goal, it becomes a violation to their bits usage terms

That appears to be from OBS just running, so cant really see if there is anything about frame loss. From what i see in the log, lowering the web cam resolution might help. Otherwise a full log from a stream would show more information

So, based on that log there is a small amount of frame loss from the GPU, both from it rendering the canvas, and from the encoder. Since you are using nvenc, everything is done on the GPU. The only CPU usage will come from OBS itself running, and all the sources loaded. If you have sources like browser sources that are not set to be shutdown when not visible, they will constantly run and take up CPU. In that regard, cutting down on browser sources could help, like combining everything into a single overlay, instead of having overlays from us, and alerts from SLOBS

So I had it set to Nvenc to try it out, as i was having problem (leak) with my cpu this week/last week. All browser sources are set to shutdown when not visible, this was my initial thought. on the main overlay I have 4 browsers that are in use. I've cut down the overlay processing gifs, having obs pulling the gifs from my pc instead of coming through the browser. Hoping that would ease the load.

Well, first thing to note is that you are not going to be able to achieve any type of quality stream on a core 2 duo T5800 with integrated Intel Graphics, if it even works at all. And stream it wit a software like obs or xsplit to twitch

That way you can input browser sources

You could use the Chat Bot from StreamElements and use the "chat alerts" Modul to get notifications in chat if someone tips, follows, etc.

Overlays don't magically respond to the stream of anyone who's added it to their OBS. It's account-based.
If you want to copy things to his StreamElements account, he needs to provide you with a manager link that has access to overlays.

interesting, it would seem you have your mic (audio input capture) and the mic from your webcam (video capture) in your mixer. you would need the desktop audio source for your viewers to hear the game and the alerts/song and media requests. can you add an audio input device, and when asked for the source tell it to capture your default sound device you use on windows?
