Last night someone cheered on Starting Soon screen (no HypeBoss) but then I switched to main overlay (with HypeBoss) and he had no damage done.

Also, is there a minimum viewer count someone must meet to get hosting bonus loyalty points? Sometimes people host and don't seem to get points.

The boss would need to be in an active overlay to take the damage/heal, as it cannot be listening to events unless the widget is active somewhere

for the loyalty points, the host has to have viewers, if the host is for 0 viewers, they will not get points

We pull the image via Twitch API, from the screenshot it looks like you might have uploaded an image that is larger, or not in a square format, and that seems to be causing it to be pulled into the widget oddly

Personal preference, I am lazy so I use display capture myself. I have a hotkey to disable the display source if I do not want to show something, like my desktop when streaming games

Display capture used to be more resource intensive, but that is no longer the case in modern windows because of aero

Steps to enable custom name

1. Sign in to https://twitch.tv with the bot account
2. Install and run Ground Control (!gc for download)
3. Visit https://twitchapps.com/tmi/ and generate an oAUTH token
4. Copy/paste everything in the box to Ground Control oAuth settings and enter the name for the bot account
5. Restart Ground Control (custom name may take a few minutes to take effect)

Mac does not currently support renaming the bot.

Hi! I am having issues when duplicating an overlay. I have duplicated my main gameplay overlay and removed the webcam widget so I can have the choice of webcam or no webcam on my overlay. However the duplicated overlay (No webcam) doesn't pull the information regarding recent follower or subscriber, it just shows the text "Latest" in the associated field

@compact chasm This is probably due to the "chat lines" setting. It checks your chat for whether or not that many messages were sent in the past 5 minutes before the bot would've said something. If it's been too quiet, then the timer message won't send.

There is no chat command to disable viewer requests, unfortunately.

If you remove your backup list the video player should stop, but I think there is a default backup list set in the backend just so it keeps playing something.

I tried to emulate a community gift with the hype cup and nothing happens? Is it supposed to show something?

Its suppose to show the amount of gifted subs one by one - as in if 20 gifted - 20 individual badges should drop

It would show the community subs dropping into the cup when I emulated but it was the default SE sub images.

Hello! Is there anyway to make my overlays load a little bit faster? Usually it takes like 10 secs to load the overlay :(

I judt have like the overlay (not animated) and for the alerts I dont use gifs or anhthing, just the ones that comes with the overlays pack :( I dont linke usin studiomode because it makes my pc a little slow sometimes :(

studio mode is here for you only if you switch scenes

so when you are about to switch over to another scene you activate it switch over and de activate it

you can make this process more easy by binding hotkeys to : open studio mode
and another hotkey to: Switch to Scenes

if all of that doesnt work for you I have a diffrent Proposal for you:

Put the Alert box into a seperate overlay and delete it from every other preset overlay you are using.

Input the URL from the AlertBox Overlay to all your scenes while doing this select the "Shut down if not visible" box so the alerts are not doubled.

Now in every other overlay source unselect the "Shut down if not visible" so it doesn't load all the time and only loads the Alertbox upon screen switching

If you do that and have other widgets like Kappagen or Hypecup in your other scenes could resolt in higher COU usage since you are rendering all overlays at once from your OBS

If you set OBS to a 21:9 resolution, that is not what you are going to get on Twitch. Twitch will smash this into a 16:9 format

It will stream fine, but it will not be the native format, and you will get letterboxing. It is pretty common for people that use 21:9 setups to still use a standard canvas that is 16:9 with the 21:9 gameplay capture, and build an overlay to fill the negative space caused from the aspect ratios not matching

if you are talking about the screen dimensions, it is likely you haven't changed the default width/height in the OBS Browser source settings

by default, OBS has the width to 600 and height to 800. Our overlays are by default width 1920 and height of 1080

so you would need to change that so things fit properly. If your canvas is 1280x720, then hit CTRL+F, or right click on the browser source, go to transform, and fit to canvas

I am able to select the emotes wanted and have done so however when emulating and acquiring cheers specifically, Random emotes that are not selected are being used. All other functions (subs, tips, follows etc.) are using the selected emotes that I want, the only issue is the cheering. Any tips?

You can choose whether it costs loyalty points to redeem or not, and when redeemed, they'll get a confirmation in the chat.

The audio only plays through the overlay if you use the "show on stream" function with a media share widget. Otherwise, the audio comes through by having the media share page or Ground Control open.

We can't integrate with Spotify because they removed that option from their API. It's why Streamlabs removed their integration for it as well.

I know it comes through my speakers and can go through my Mic if loud enough but it's poorer quality and mediocre that way I've come to find. If not it's no biggie and I'll reroute my mic and speakers to pick it up better. Just curious if there's a setting instead.

Question about “all time points”. Is it only from watch time? Someone who was third yesterday suddenly jumped to first. Roughly 15k points when the rate is 1 point per minute. What are other ways this could happen? It doesn’t make any sense

@limpid zinc , Points can be set by yourself. On streamelements, the left hand side of the page will have loyalty settings which you are able to adjust. Other ways viewers can get points is by gambling/roulette, slots, or point sharing. You can view those widgets under the "Modules" section to the left hand side of the page and enable.disable the gambling

You are also able to drop said user back in points if you wanted yo by using the !Setpoints (user) ### commands

Giving points to a single user does NOT affect all-time, only when giving to all in chat.

Steps to enable custom name

1. Sign in to https://twitch.tv with the bot account
2. Install and run Ground Control (!gc for download)
3. Visit https://twitchapps.com/tmi/ and generate an oAUTH token
4. Copy/paste everything in the box to Ground Control oAuth settings and enter the name for the bot account
5. Restart Ground Control (custom name may take a few minutes to take effect)

Mac does not currently support renaming the bot.
