My issue with that is that the suggested amount I put in ($3) doesn’t show on the actual page. It just shows the minimum $1 instead.

Songrequest isn't working for correctly for all my regulars. I have one using PC and one on Mobile that are both getting *** when they copy the URL into chat. I tested and a mod tested it and the url copied into chat fine. Not sure why it's not working for everyone

Twitch prime (new and resub) and paid subscriptions (resub only) must be shared in chat manually by the person subscribing in order for the subscription information to be sent to StreamElements. For twitch prime, the user needs to have sharing enabled on https://www.twitch.tv/settings/prime. Twitch doesn't have a "notification system" for hosts (unlike follows, subs, raids, etc.) so the only way for StreamElements to know that you are being hosted is to connect through you to twitch. This connection is made on:

SE Dashboard page - https://streamelements.com/dashboard
SE Activity Feed page - https://streamelements.com/dashboard/activity
Ground Control desktop app - https://streamelements.com/groundcontrol

Please have one of these open during your stream in order to receive host event notifications.

Host alerts where working fine, returned from a break of streaming and host alerts no longer appear when streaming, tested in overlay editor and it appears there and also in obs when testing; But when an actual host comes through of any amount nothing happens

Hey There 😃 Just a question, is the media share function also a bit broken for you guys? Whenever someone requests a song, it displays the video during my stream. but afterwards I would like to have my main playlist using media share again and the entire thing just breaks 😦 Also, it auto-mutes itselfs for some reason (?)

the reason we mute the player on the songrequest page, is that when mediashare works properly we have the audio come out through the overlay

Oh yeah one last thing that came to mind, when I play a music video and I press the button to show it on the overlay, it auto-mutes (like it should). but when I press the button again to make the video disappear, it stays muted (for me).

Couple things I’ve noticed during my streams:
(1) If I put a playlist from YouTube into the “backup playlist” my overlay doesn’t grab the song name. Is this possible?

(2) If the backup playlist is playing and somebody requests a song, it goes into the queue but does not play. If I go in and click the song to MAKE it play, it just restarts the backup playlist. The only way to get the requested song to play is to delete the backup playlist from settings and then re-request the song. As you can imagine this really sucks. 😋

add the store redemption widget
create a store item and configure it as a sound effect

That could be why. couple reasons. 1. GPU takes more bitrate than CPU to get the same quality. 2. GPU encoding has to compete with what ever game you are running for resources

Howdy folks. I reported this bug a few weeks back (it's a simple fix) and have noticed it has not been squashed. Waned to make sure it's on the radar. The "countdown" widget can not be hidden in the overlay HTML file. It does hide in the editor, but not in the final product. The cause of this issue is a 1 second JS interval that is used to update the widget. After hiding the widget, it will hide its self for 1 second, but the next time that interval fires the widget (even though set as hidden) will appear. All that is needed to resolve this issue is having the display update interval check to see if the widget is hidden (so it does not change display mode) or to pause the interval. The only way I have found (as a bandaid workaround) to hide this element on my stream is to modify the text settings for the widget and set font size to 0. Not a fun fix to have to do while live, but it works! Thanks! 😄

We're still waiting to hear back from them so it'd be great if users could bug them about it on social media 😄 It's also possible that last.FM integration will be looked at so if Foobar can be scrobbled to there that might be a solution in the future.

That means manually moderating tips so that you or a mod will need to approve each tip before it will show

@buoyant relic Usually it just needs you to click Part Channel on the dashboard then Join Channel after, which I tried but it wasn't announcing it's return. Again, we'll check after Twitch sorts itself out

If you know the resolution of your phone, it should work if you make a new overlay from scratch, on the same resolution as your phone's and add that to the streaming app @oak bison
