This is in obs. I do not use a pre made overlay i got my own but I use the widgets such as lastest followe, lastest subscriber, latest host etc. sub goal and follower goal. They all keep vanishing. I have to go into the proberties all the time and restet it , in order to shown them again

The caster decides on the win % but let's say that for example it's set to 50% it would mean that every spin is 50%. There is no deminishing return after x amount of spinnings and therefore someone can win 12x in a row or more.

I'm told that 21:9 is aids to watch on a stream. Is this because of the blank space above and below the stream area due to twitch being defaulted at 16:9?
I feel like a good solution would be to use overlay content to fill those spaces, or other stuff to fill them and keep my display area like it is.

i play on a 3440x1440 monitor and downscale to 1080p with obs but my overlay when set to 1080 doesn't scale right and if i set it to my monitors resolution it still acts like it is in 1080 so i have a tip counter in my bot right cornor but on stream it is like mid screen near the bot and my follow notefication is up to the left as well

Twitch doesn't have a "notification system" for hosts (unlike follows, subs, raids, etc.) so the only way for StreamElements to know that you are being hosted is to connect through you to twitch. This connection is made on:

- SE Activity Feed page - https://streamelements.com/dashboard/activity
- Ground Control desktop app - https://streamelements.com/groundcontrol
Please have one of these open during your stream in order to receive host event notifications.

OK I signed out and in and it did not work. I am ONLY using the "connect with twitch" button to sign in, I haven't made any other account or anything if I should have. When I signed out and back in, I hit "login" and it took me to a slightly different looking "connect with twitch" page which took me back to the first one and the chatstats link took me still to a page not found

Yes, keep a tab or the popout window for activity feed open or you can download and use ground control which has activity feed and songrequest functionality. It's going to be gaining additional helpful features in the future so that would be my recommended method.

Question. Is anyone having a problem with Xsplit not working with the overlays.
I keep using copy/paste in the "webpage" part of Xsplit but it doesn't show up, it just shows a help bubble

Hey folks, is there any settings I should be looking at when viewing Streamelements? When I go to edit overlays there are large lag spikes causing delays, both on the page and when I use the browsersource in OBS Studio (my CPU usage spikes up intermittently, making either the webpage and/or OBS unresponsive for a few seconds)
Browser: Google Chrome, OBS is version 20.1.0 64-bit

As for obs, im not sure why it would be unresponsive.

Since I have the ultrawide display, my solution was to change the canvas to 2560x1440 (16:9 2kres) and downscale on output to probably either 1920x1080 or the 720p variant (still playing with it)
I then just stuck my source in there to fit like this below
This looks kind of like this on output:
except it already looked like that
but now I have control over the black spaces
I can scale the full screen overlays to now actually be 16:9 ratio, but the game will render like that
I can make overlay content inside the black bars instead of obscuring my game content
Opinion for my solution?

@worldly plover What are your pc specs looking like? I honestly havent heard of complete unresponsiveness between overlay and obs.

Win10 64-bit, i5-6600K, 16GB RAM, nVidia GTX1080 8GB. Now here's the odd part. I closed the Streamelements browser tab, and OBS has yet to freeze or cause the cef-bootstrap process to spike up. I opened up Streamelements in a new tab, and went into the Overlay Editor again, freezing occurred within a few seconds of going in.

I've noticed a correlation to OBS having the overlay loaded and the overlay being displayed in the browser whether in the editor or a "launch overlay" window
where it causes it to completely freeze
for upwards of 30 seconds

So far the freezing hasn't been that bad. It's fairly constant, about every 15 seconds or so, but the freeze lasts maybe no more than 5 seconds per stint

Sounds like your cpu is getting hit a bit, if its freezing with just obs on

Lol my cpu shouldn't be. One of the staff acknowledged there's an odd issue with editor lockups

As for my overlays, there is just background images (static), and 4 bars of rolling text for latest tipper, follower, sub, etc. Webcam and game captures are in OBS itself (however the freezing did occur when I was looking at scenes that had no captures of any kind, just the browsersource as the only visible item. Browsersource on all scenes are set to shutdown when not visible. However, if I close OBS and look at the Streamelements overlay editor, I still get the random freezing/hitching

Disable scrolling text and see if it still occurs
I also dont know how superthemes work on ultrawide, since they're designed in 1080p

Hmm...no freezing on scene with scrolling text, but switching to another browsersource with scrolling text and the freezing isn't occurring now...
