They're all put there instead, it's worth keeping them in a separate list incase you need to go back and do something manually for them, the events list only holds so many past events so you could miss something you need to do

I was at 29/30 the other day and people were freaking out when someone resubbed as it said 30/30 while it was just one of the 29 resubbing.

@gaunt light the player needs to be visible for it to work properly. We used to have the "artist/title" search but we had to disable it because we've reached the youtube api limit. We are talking with youtube in order to bring it back

when we do a youtube search, it costs "points". an url costs less than an artist/title search.
we have a daily point limits and we reached it.

I have one general donation alert for any amount up to $10, but I also want another that plays when someone donates a specific amount i.e. $3.14. I've set this up but when I test $3.14 it plays both alerts. What am I doing wrong here?

I think the likelihood is that you'll need an alert for up to $3.13, a separate alert variation for $3.14 and then another for $3.15 - $10 (possible to have the original alert for this too), I believe it's because they're overlapping

You can't set a range (between $1 and $3.13 for instance) and there doesn't seem to be any point to 'exact' as it will always overlap with an 'at least' won't it?

We basically have a cap of how many youtube API calls we can make and by allowing that we'd have to make an API call for whenever every single song was played opposed to when every requested song is played, it's a way for us to manage our amount of API calls to keep the song request feature running smoothly, when youtube gives us a larger cap we can look into adding things that like ๐

Coincidentally, I just got affiliate today as well! I'm trying to add a Cheer alert to my overlay, but two things won't save: 1) the removed video image of a bit rotating around, and 2) the default sound. I've already uploaded my own sound file and saved, logged out and back in, but can't get passed the default.

Else SE won't recognise your new stream sounds.
But it also has "save" in the variations etc and sound settings.
But you need to save it there and THEN you save the entire overlay before it works.
Let us know if that works, please @reef swallow. I was struggling with that before as well and got it to work that way.

The current system doesn't automatically work with changes to sounds that you make in the sub menus, that's why you have to save it completely before it works (as that forces them to be recached iirc)

Scratch that.. the best you can do for caps protection is to set it to regulars.
Regulars have to be manually added and is a higher level than subscribers
So the only ones immune to caps protection would be people that you set to level 300, moderators, and you

I have noticed the site is rather speedy if I use Firefox. If I use Vivaldi (Beta), it seems to be sluggish, sometimes on page transition and sometimes on the exact same page, but CPU doesn't spike. That said, I have Hardware acceleration on.
Chrome (Stable) seems to have similar issues, but happens less often and its more barebones than Vivaldi.
Seems like some form of issue with Hardware acceleration and the site itself? Though OBS using chromium as well, overlay is practically fine.
Though since I never looked into it, I would guess Hardware acceleration is disabled in the OBS Browser sources.

It seems that my follows are syncing fine, and my donations were syncing last night. My subs ARE syncing to StreamLabs. Is this some kind of problem with SE and SL not playing well together? I should note that I didn't set either up, a friend helped me with both!

Yes, so if there's nothing to the overlay in terms of images, videos, text etc then it's blank until something triggers like alert box, kappagen etc
