actual formula : n / n^3
n = number of emotes

Hey, song request question!
Is there a way to change bot's output to whisper when using this command? As it stands, it auto-generates a response and dumps it in chat, which can lead to flooding. The only workaround to this that I've been able to find is to mute the bot completely while still the commands functional, which defeats the purpose of the bot.
To clarify a bit, I am aware that you're able to fully alter the output protocols for any commands that you create, but this doesn't seem to be the case for default commands like SR. Can't find this particular variable in the SR settings in Chat Commands nor the SR module settings themselves.

@opaque nova As you mentioned, it's not possible to change the response type for default commands. In order to keep the bot functional but reduce SR spam in chat, you can disable the command and have viewers use your SR page to request songs.

After a bit of testing, I've found that the setting to disable SR in chat is indeed malfunctioning. It reverts back to enabled instantly, regardless of anyone trying to use the command.

@storm storm we are working on the backup playlist part. The reason for it not working at the moment are limitations on our usage of the youtube API. it is for the same reason that we don't allow searching song requests. We hope to get the backup playlist pulling the information.
As for setting the tip goal, you can set the value and to see the percent as fluffybutt said, and you can change where the goal is at under the Data tab

Yeah, if you have multiple versions of your overlay in separate scenes and they're not set to shutdown when not active then you'll hear them both, either that or 2 versions of OBS open or the overlay manager open unmuted

@tranquil sequoia There's a button on the dashboard which should say Part Channel (providing that the bot is in your channel currently), click that and then tell it to Join Channel
Also if you link your Twitch to your Discord then it's easier for us to join your channel and test things like this for you

Hey I'm having issues with my browser source. I have a single streamelements overlay I am using in OBS, and frequently, my entire computer will lock up for a second or two at a time. "cef-bootstrap.exe" suddenly jumps from 3% CPU usage to 60%+ usage, and I've done some research and that process comes from OBS browser sources, and the only one I'm using is the streamelements overlay. Where is this massive lag coming from?

CPU overuse seems to be caused by saving the overlay while it's currently active in OBS, so once I reload it it makes it work nice

Hey everyone, LOVE the new Hype Cup! Thanks for taking the time it needed to make it great! I have spent most of the day making the fine adjustments to my cup, it's AWESOME!! I did have 2 questions. How do I make the cheers that drop into the cup bigger? They are so small, and I don't see anywhere to adjust their size. Lastly, when th cup is full, how do I make new items that fall into it bounce the old ones around and (sometimes) empty. When the cup fills up, they just bounce off the top. Id love them to slam in and skae it up a bit. Anyway to do that? What weight, or settings should I use? Thanks ๐

hello peeps! Quick question, if I have multiple variations for an alert, does the volume slider on default effect ALL variations? Or do I need to go into each one to lower them (when I do a stream that alerts need to be more quiet)?

The default effect says "If you add variations this option will not be used" on the page, so I'd assume you have to change on each one

Each volume slider is independent

Set the volume how you want it in the default -- and THEN make the variations next time. The variations populate all the settings basically off of what the default is

right. I just do a stream that is more of a podcast/talkshow type thing and for that, the alerts are too loud. Currently was going into each one and lower them.
but thats only 1 of my streams per week

I would suggest making a duplicate of your overlay then
you can use one of the overlays with the volume all set and saved for the podcast and then leave the other one how it is so you don't have to keep changing them

@analog idol regarding variations/default alerts -- You can use variations and defaults together UNLESS one of the variations matches the perimeters of the default. if that is the case it'll only use variations. For example, creating a tier 2 or tier 3 sub alert will activate the alert only upon that type of subscription -- any other type of subscription will use the default alert
