from messing with it the last few days, i'd love to have a default behavior for many of the things when importing/creating from gallery....alert box behavior, social links/tags, animations on text boxes (top donation/recent donation for example). It'd strengthen the ability of your theme gallery and editor as well as help in the future if you guys are planning the possibility to share themes between users (dunno if that's on the table due to possible abuse)

QQ - I have seen streamers use custom commands to append or modify a small part of a much larger command result, without retyping the entire result. I have looked several places and I just can't find any info on how this was done. Is there any guide or anything to creating advanced commands in stream elements? Example.. command is !multi... which says "Check out the multistream at kadgar/streamer1" then they initiate a command "!setmulti streamer2/streamer3" and it modifies the original !multi command to say @check out the multistrea at kadgar/streamer1/streamer2/streamer3". Hope that makes sense. lol

Replaying them is more to test the alerts, otherwise you could get duplicates on things like recent cheers, recent tips etc

Well it reset about half of the session widgets, like Tips Amount, Tips Count etc. Plus I still had the old site (after just opening the webpage through URL) until a few seconds ago. So all the changes I was doing to fix it weren't working and then erased. Just messy right now I guess. I would Love to have a Total Cheers BTW. @cobalt niche make sure to check the "Shutdown when not visible" box in the browser source settings. If you are still getting double sounds, make sure you are not in studio mode with 2 different overlays loaded (counts as being visible)

@scenic frost if the song playing is from the backup playlist, that is a known issue. It is because to populate the song name, we have to use the youtube api, which is super expensive (the reason we don't have search enabled for SR)

Hello I am having an issue with the store redemption widget alert on my overlay. I am using a gif image alert with a sound clip. The gif is about 10 seconds but everytime after the 1st person puchases an item the gif and sound clip don't match because it seems the gif image is playing nonstop in the background and it just unhides itself after someone redeems the item again and the gif plays off sync with the sound clip making things awkward. Is there an option to always start the gif image at the start so the sound clip can sync up with it everytime?

but you can try some irc clients, I'm using adiIRC as my twitch client, there is an option to be always on top

If it's locked, you can unlock it by clicking on the padlock in the 'Layers' section and then edit it (as in the text seeing as that's what you're wanting to change)

To change it to Top Cheer you'd have to click on Widgets and then add that Widget and then change the Widgets Text Settings to be how you want it

And delete the original widget that was where you want it to go

Hello everyone! This is probably a dumb question but after seeing how StreamElements stream went today and the overlays were "fading in and out" , how did you all get that to happen? I have my OBS set to fade between scenes but when the theme come in it "pops" on. (hopefully this makes sense...I'm fairly new to all of this so I apologize for my ignorance with some of this.)

Not sure if this has been reported yet, but overlays are having some issues. Specifically in my case is the "recent tips" ticker. When I launch my overlay I'm seeing a lot of errors. "ailed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 429 (TOO MANY REQUESTS)" on sentry.io and a 404 on atm.js stand out

it's been happening since yesterday, without changes to the overlay settings.

i have "It is currently ${time.America/Toronto} here in Streamland." and that works even with daylight savings, which is nice, but it displays in the 24h format, which for some people is harder to understand than the 12h am/pm format

You can only stretch it diagonally correct, there is a somewhat workaround though

You could hold down an arrow key so it goes partly out of the overlay space, and then you have a more square shape visible

Then stretch it as tall as you want it and hide what you don't want to show, although this means you'd need it at the edge of the stream and you wouldn't get 1 side of the border

If you have it constantly open then it can cause problems, it's best to have it shut down even if it takes 2 - 3 seconds to load when it's active

If you're rocking a dual PC set up, it's really up to you if you want to shut down the sources.

We tell people to shut them down for 2 reasons

1. double sounds (fixable). 2 CPU usage
