@tight harness very much true. You have to be live to get loyalty points over time reward. Follow/sub/tip rewards will continue to be awarded because you always want people to do that, even when offline, but loyalty stops when you stop streaming. @snow bane

hi there. I'm trying to use Stream elements for my sub alerts now but whenever I hit the "test" button to see how it'll look in obs classic it doesn't show up. I use the CLR browser for the overlay and it worked for 1 or 2 tests but now I don't see it at all. The test works in stream elements but NOT obs... I don't understand why. And I don't want to use it if I don't have confidence the alert will actually work. Can anyone help?

You will have to use OBS Studio to get the most up to date browser source to use the overlays and alerts

We HAVE to stay on good terms with them, so workarounds are kinda iffy. We are working on getting streaming alerts/loyalty stuff set up on youtube, so we are working really hard to get all that stuff set up. It will come, there are only so many people on the team that do dev work, and they are working just baout every day on this stuff ๐

Once Twitch fix their API, the points will be added correctly

there are a couple of games that are heavy on CPU usage and hog up most of the resources. So, IMHO, if u can run the game and OBS wihtout too many issues, then adding a second browser source should not impact ur performance much.

@tough glen true, but it also depends on what you have running in said chromium tabs. with kappagen and alerts, they CPU usage could spike at certain times and cause issues, especially since the browser sources use the CPU to get the graphics

@smoky lark I am going to try to replicate the refunding points. the sub luck was fixed, but there might be residual effects coming off of the issues twitch is having. best thing to do would be to log out, clear browser cache, log back in. Anothe thing is that today and tomorrow are the weekend in isreal, but they will look into it. I will gather as much as I can to see whats going on. They worked perfectly sunday, I did a giveaway with 90+ people claiming tickets

I did just find a bug where it would refund the free ticket given out as if you purchased it, but other than that, i got as many points back as I spent (10 tickets for 20 points each, first free, spent 180 points. refunded, got 200 points back, the one free wasn't taken into account)

From the overlay manager page, there is a launch overlay button that will open the link in another tab (copy/pasta from there), in the editor, it defaults to showing the link when no widgets selected, and then there is also a launch overlay button from the editor (copy/pasta)

@warped imp Currently you'd have to put one of the requirements of the user redeeming it as including the song request link, then you or somebody else who can do it can manually add it to the song request queue
You can ask them for information when they redeem the purchase, add the link as one of the bits of information ๐

@lament blade It's not mentioned on the commands page so I think it's safe to assume that until mods/super mods access to the dashboard is released that you are the only one who can set up these
However, if there's a contest that you wish to be able to easily repeat, once you've made it once you can start that contest again under the 'Your recent contests' part
So there's no need to make it from scratch every time ๐ hope this helps

Well I have all of my alerts and things going through Muxy and I use SE for the shop only. I set up the tipping page with SE thinking I would use it as well but decided against it. Now then I have a tipping page that shows fo people to use when they go to my shop
but thats not the page I want them to use
perhaps I am just confused as to how it will work with my alerts. If they use my SE tipping page, will all the muxy alerts still work properly?

Alright so i am on the editor making my overlay, and when i press bold on my recent sub, it bolds my follower, and then if i go do my follower, my follower is bold as well
I have them both on its own overlay? am i suppose to put each Recent on a seperate overlay?

@swift echo yeah, its a touchy bug. The trick I found was to make sure to click off the current widget before selecting another widget, and it should bold the right one.

@swift echo you probably hear it out of both OBS and the editor when testing. To make it so you do not hear one, go into your volumn mixer and mute either the browser or OBS

It seems like various SE settings aren't quite working for my friend's stream.. We had the !slots command cooldown set to 5 minutes but it seemingly can be called like within a minute, and loyalty tracking seems to break before a lot of the streams
we're at a loss as to troubleshooting this problem.. is this some issue you're aware of?

Were you setting the user cooldown or the global cooldown? Also loyalty tracking as in people being assigned points for watching? That's a problem with the Twitch API at the moment

Currently, there is an issue with Twitch TMI api, which gives us the viewer lists. We are not getting consistant lists, so no way to give viewers points if we don't know who is viewinng ๐ฆ To compensate, a well timed !bonus all 420 command will help compensate your viewers, as long as the command says it is applied to more than zero viewers.

@restive marlin it is a part of the platform. StreamElements is cloud based, so that no matter what happens, you have 1 browser source link with all your information. including images if you want. You could stream from any computer you want that way. All the "labels" are editable under Activity Feed -> Edit session

@rapid rain supermod access to the dashboard is something that is being worked on. At the moment, they can only edit chat commands (in chat) and other default commands you can see on the default chat command page
