#Calculation ticket fire log or just a bin

Projected feasibility: 6/10

Impact: Declutter after lots of calculation and shots fired

Detailed description: The idea would be to archive in a fire log the calculation ticket we get after interacting with the console.
Maybe this could be in the basement of the turret, or in the tutorial area.
An entry could be something like:

Shot #1 - Left Cannon
┌────────────────────────┐
│ Bearing < HE| |2| │
│ │
│ Elevation │
└────────────────────────┘
Shot #2 - Right Cannon
┌────────────────────────┐
│ Bearing < STR| | |3│ |
│ │
│ Elevation │
└────────────────────────┘

Another simpler option or just for miscalculation would be a bin below the map table (I don't think a saw one during the play test) so we can get rid of the tickets instead of keeping them on the clipboard or stacking them on the map. During freeplay I got a lot of tickets pilling up and stacking them on the map clitches the fonts of all the tickets instead of displaying just the top one.

Extra information:

-EXCLUSIVE FOR GAMEPLAY/GRAPHICS-

Conditions: After a salve of shot, between recon updates or before the end of the mission. The game can record on its side and make a comparison with the player journal for scoring.

-EXCLUSIVE FOR LORE-

It could trigger some different outcomes depending on the tidyness of the journal in a campaign.
Seems logical that Commands would want to have a fire log for inventory purposes or just traceability, or not if like opposing parties investigate the shots fired.

The red X in the topright deletes the card.

I do agree we need a place to store them that doesn't block the map though.

I think that was the idea, not sure though

I mean, the cards are an effective log if we can put 'm in a folder somewhere, no?

Yes. I think I misunderstood your earlier comment.

#

"wants to keep the log" "but not the cards" => Have a log, delete cards, still have logs.

#

Could have worded that better

Right, so we're discussing the difference between:
(Your point) Transcribing the cards onto a logbook
(My point) Putting the cards into a folder / onto a board that isn't the map.

#

Both are valid options. I like mine purely because you can then take the cards back to the map in case the player didn't mean to move the card to archive.

Oh I realize what the misunderstanding was

#

I replied to your comment but didn't specify I was only replying to the part where you said 'the red x deleted the cards'

#

Because from what I understand they want to get the cards out of the way but not delete them

Ah. So we agree then.

I do think some kind of folder/wall panel would work best

But I'm not even here to argue lol I'm just doing my job of moderating the feedback
