game dev here - the best way to implement a fix for something is to isolate it from the rest of the game and prevent something being exploited, such as XP farms.

dice are doing the right thing.

servers are being worked on and its not something teams can easily show you unless you like staring at netcode for hours on end

#direct-communication is a blessing and we should be happy dice is taking immediate action on issues such as these

I'm not into XP farming, I think it's weak, but I also think the way DICE handled this is just as weak. I thought it was strange that they allowed it, then just as strange to take it out...like it was a feature for people testing progression and they forgot that it was left into Portal.

It’s funny that no one wants to admit why they even want to exp grind. They know when the rest of the players join the game they’ll get their asses kicked, so they’re trying to get their hands on the beefy weapons ASAP

What they have to do is if you change the bots level from 1 ,lower the xp on that server

If they play a normal portal / solo-cop with bots in intermedium or hard , give normal xp and give the weapon unlock-accesories
