Anyone who have directx function cointilize or createdevice have u had different gpu before hand ? Trying to pinpoint what exactly is happening with this error.
I looked at crash dumps and for my case atleast it says: Unable to determine driver version for "AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT" (AdapterLuid=0x000000000000ffeb). Searched 3 entries under HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\DirectX
Now the problem seems that 2 of entries are just basic microsoft drivers and guess what 3 entry is of my old 6650 XT which is still there , which i THEORIZE is that the game trying to read this directx registry entry and it seems that it doesn't have my new 7800XT registry which is missing.
That's why reinstalling drivers does not help or runtimes or direct installer itself cuz it seems that this reg directory is created right before windows installation. Switch yes u guessed it that's why this error fixes itself only after reinstalling windows.

I’m really liking it so far. Here’s my feedback from playing for the last 3 hours straight:

• The pace and general TTK is basically perfect except for handguns.
• Sniping needs to be more lethal. Shooting someone in the chest with .300 Win Mag and only doing 50-62 damage is nuts. I didn’t get to experience the long distance sniper kills on moving targets that I was able to pull off pretty often in BF4.
• Grenades feel too arcadey. They should be more lethal, and balanced by a slower throw time so you’re not just flinging it out like a ninja.

All of this talk about movement is totally blown out of proportion. I never got killed by someone who was diving or sliding. They got clapped, quickly. The movement feels like BF3-BF4-BF1 in all the right ways, with very minor tweaks.
